Yup, someone really is making a "Comprehensive History of Chris Chan"-esque takedown series of Viv

Advice? Speed the video up to 1.25x or 1.5x cause it's not quite as entertaining and a little more rambling than Geno Samuel's series on Chris. Apparently this is just part 1 and discusses the firing of the pilot's cast and crew.

Where's the lie in this statement? Oh wait, I found it. It was supposed to be 10 books, not 8. And she didn't even get through book 1 before calling it quits.

Wait are people actually "shitting bricks and scared" at the prospect of a second season? I think the show is bad but the thought of it getting more seasons isn't keeping me up at night. I know this question will probably be a yes but are these people really so autistic that they're hinging their mental well-being on whether or not a bad cartoon will get a season 2?

How to write (Viz style)
  1. Make a somewhat interesting concept
  2. Expand it into a whacky world
  3. Populate it with quirky characters
  4. Write a story befitting to the setting
  5. Forget about the main premise, focus on a B plot instead
  6. Forget about the B plot, character development take priority
  7. Begin to hate your main cast of characters, especially the ones fans love
  8. Focus on shipping and romance, forget everything else
  9. Retcon main gay couple into being yaoi and wholesome and cute! Anything in the past that doesn't support this is no longer canon.
  10. NUKE the story! Nothing is canon anymore! Focus on the gay couple only.

A bad cartoon getting "another season" is one thing. Really, trying to get this thing to be as culturally relevant as Simpsons or Spongebob is a battle Viv/A24/Amazon have all already lost. One idea would be, you know, actually improving the show's quality, but I doubt she really has it in herself.

If anything, going off of personal experience, what we have here is another Owl House, where the show will retain a niche cult following until it ends, and most of those people will move onto the next thing without the current thing at hand really making any substantial impact unlike its predecessors.

If a certain show that stars a jester proves one thing, it's that the next big things are gonna come from outside the industry, and have zero industry backing.

Plus, the second season is going to have 8 episodes again, and that's not sitting right with folks since having too little episodes was a big problem in the first season, as it felt like they were speedrunning all of these arcs and stories.

Hazbin's runtime isn't this brick wall of an issue that Viv can't overcome, if for example Baxter was cut she could use his introduction episode to instead focus on and develop a character we are already familar with from Season 1, or to expand on a plot point, or better yet do what good writers do and have that plot point and character development be interwoven. It's why I had hoped that Season 2 would keep character introductions to a minimum, but Viv needs to showcase all her OCs.

I decided to read the wikia regarding Adam, and seems like Adam is gone for good, from that fuck Niftty no less. When the "fandom" has more care for characters that you create (even when he is meant to be an annoying prick that no one is supposed to like and that backfires), you know something goes wrong.

EDIT: Omni Man please execute that little fuck with your subway fatality please please please. And your other fatality too. And Homelander with your both fatalities as well. JUSTICE FOR CHADAM

I don't know why this video specifically was in my recommendations, but I can't disagree with what the person is saying. The first time I watched Fizz and Ozzie again in season 2, I couldn't help but cringe at their dialogue. I know people would say that because they're in private they would talk differently with one another than in public. Doesn't make their forced dialogue sound any less...forced though.

This reminds me of some people approving the one that I think someone already posted here, of the "Asmodeus believes in consent" and how that is somehow a "stroke of genius". There was a related one that (I didn't watch) that he decided to build paradise in hell for making Lust. Hold on:

He must not care that much if he let's his succbi/incubi coerce humans into having sex with them. Reminds me of Beezlebub being very caring to Hellhounds, yet still let's the Hellhound orphanages be run in terrible conditions. At best, they're ignorant to what is going on.

Yet another way Vivz loves to TELL you characters are a certain way while SHOWING you they aren't.

The only difference is that Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss are Vivzie's main source of income so she is going to milk it for as long as she could.

There's also the fact that troons have a literal fetish for these scars.
This. For some reason, they really like to draw the scars bug and jagged for everyone to see; even though if those scars appeared that way in real life that would mean you went to a shitty surgeon. I know that the times have changed but, I thought the whole point of transitioning was to, you know, pass. Wouldn't you want other people to believe that you are actually the gender you've transitioned to, instead of immediately knowing that you are trans?

Oh wait, I forgot we're in the timeline where everyone must know how different you are from the majority. Don't try to blend into society. Be "special".
