lol. Lmao, even.

Yeaaaaaaahhhhh sure. "How many fingers are there, Winston? We already said Stella is the villainess."
Same here. I've tried to think of one good thing to say with a straight face, but I just can't. It really is that bad. The writing, story, dialogue, songs, art style, characters. It's just bad in a joyless way. The only thing I can say is that it has made me think about the depiction of Christian mythology in entertainment and how interesting it would be for someone to treat it is just that -mythology- and make something sincere and not safe-edgy, edutainment, or preachy.
I think Hazbin is less worse than Helluva. The former there is a premise which shits upon Christian Theology, but it tries to make something for it. There's Charlie trying to do something, and those working against her at least so far there is something. Even if Craplastor or Shitffty are irritating characters, they can be skipped over maybe. At least watching clips... I guess? The treatment of Lucifer would have people raising eyebrows, because he's not a happy-go-lucky - but sure, maybe a positive way. Adam was great even if he was an asshole.

But Helluva is shit, and I hate EVERYONE in there. I hate Loona, I hate Blitzo, I hate Stolas, I hate Moxxie, I hate Millie, I hate Mammon, I hate Pizza-roll, I hate Asmodeus, I hate the faggot Incubi, I hate the Succibi (I think Verosika and Barbie Wire were the only ones shown?), I dislike the retcon carpet mucher couple (non characters, really, so whatever - where the fuck did Ralphie go, FFS); I just don't hate Stella, Octavia (I feel terrible for her, I wouldn't be surprised if she kills herself) and Striker. None seem to be redeeming, and maybe that's the point - it's hell, you should dislike everyone. But it seems to go against the idea of a show. Shouldn't you like the cast... of sorts? It's counter intuitive and I don't know what to say. If I had a choice to swap characters, I'd get Alastor and Niffty in Helluva and Stella, Octavia and Striker in Hazbin. There, improved the former series a bit and completely shat on the latter.

I can't really believe that since neither Stella or Octavia seem to dislike each other. Octavia doesn't blame her mother for her home life falling apart; only her father. She even goes to her mom's over the weekend, and I doubt that Stolas would force her if she didn't want to go.

Though, I can't really say much positive about their relationship either since we have never seen them interact with one another. All we got is a portrait of them when the whole family went to Loo Loo Land, which I would argue is kind of a big deal since Stella is extremely classist and going to a poor's rip-off amusement park is something she would never even think of doing. She had to love her daughter to go there with her. Also based off the leaks, in the last episode of season 2, we see Octavia looking through photographs and one of them is that of her family; all smiling and seemingly happy together. Unless that gets changed in the final cut, you can't say that Stella didn't put any effort in trying to give Octavia a happy and normal family life. Maybe at one point, she really did love Stolas, but then grew to realize she had been forced to marry a gay man who could never love her back, causing her to grow bitter with the life she was now stuck in. Anyway, I'm not going to try and theorize a character that has already been slated to be one-dimensional and flat. That's a waste of time.

The only thing we ever really saw was Stella asking Stolas to go comfort her when she had a nightmare as a small child, and that was just to make her look bad. At least at that time, maybe Stolas was her favorite.

The way they act later doesn't make much sense, with Stolas being his usual narcissistic prick of a self and completely neglecting her, forgetting his promises to her, and otherwise being a dick. I don't even have an inherent objection to having some uwu homo shit, but if you're going to act like we're supposed to view Stolas as some persecuted saint (despite being fucking demon royalty in HELL), try giving him SOME redeeming features.

(despite being fucking demon royalty in HELL)
That's congruent with their worldview.
"No one can choose what they are born as (but if you are white, straight, and/or normal, then you deserve to die and suffer for all eternity, cis-pig!!1!)"
It's funny. In Hell, being a faggot seems to be the norm with heterosexuality being the minority. Yet, somehow Stolas is being oppressed for... being gay? Being gay for with some member of a dalit-tier species? How? Where is he being derided for that? I certainly didn't see the goetia in that fancy-shmancy cafe sneer at Stolas.

But yeah, what we are shown on-screen so far indicates Stella to be a better parent than Stolas. So... way to go, Viv, faggots are terrible parents.

Alastor is my favorite. He's one of the best characters out of all of them. He's charming and hilarious. As it stands now, I prefer Hazbin over Helluva Boss. I can only take so much of Blitz bitching about his relationships. From my experience, many of the haters are just as insufferable as the over the top fans. Most of them have no good reason for their dislike of it.

It seems to be less "oh my god your a faggot" due to sexuality and more "oh my god your fucking an imp" due to class differences. Which is some of the most Fujo-brained logic there is and designed purely to manufacture fake drama so the story can drag along at a snails pace. Its also hell and class/degeneracy shouldn't matter for dick as you and everyone else in this thread have pointed out a thousand times.

And half of the time it seems like no one cares that Stolas is fucking an imp. It's not like he's been keeping it that hidden.

She'll probably retcon that and have CHarlie and Vagyna adopt a girl in Season 3 and raise her perfectly or something. And then only imply that male faggots are bad, but female faggots are good.

However, I did read somewhere that she changes things on a whim. Lucifer was meant to be threatening and bad, but then became this foolish duck lover guy that gave birth to Charlie, and that was a last minute change, apparently?

If that was to make Stella look bad, they failed spectacularly, at least for me. Real couples take turns and sometimes will ask the other to take care of their child late at night. It’s normal for them to do that. Anyone with real world experience would see that scene and think ‘Yeah, I’ve been there, I’ve done that. Glad Stolas is being a good sport about it and letting his wife get a little more sleep.’

And it’s not even exclusive to parents. If you’re a visiting relative helping out, you know the feeling having to drop what your doing to comfort a crying kid when the parents are on the phone or when they need a break, or a kid that wants to play with you some stupid game they made up just now. Annoying for maybe five minutes, but then you get over it and have fun with the kid, because the kid needs to come first.

If anyone thought that made Stella look bad, it’s honestly like one of those Twitter/X threads where it’s ‘Tell me you’ve never had kids, without saying you don’t have kids.’ Actually, them not having children may explain why shippers and the writers think Octavia is being sooo unreasonable with her expectations of her dad being, you know, her dad and fulfilling his basic duties as a father, and should just be on board with her Dad and his fuck-pet (Let’s be real here that‘s what the assassin that murders people indiscriminately for money is) being a thing and her coming second, because he sacrificed sooooo much for her, and why we should be so forgiving of the fucking owl.

I’m not sure if this question has been brought up in here before, but I’ll address it anyway:

Why are there furries in heaven depicted in an episode of Hazbin Hotel? This is contradictory to the fact that all animal-like creatures reminiscent of demons are exclusively dwelling in hell. Can’t the animators or Viv herself hold their urge to insert furries anywhere they can or am I missing something?

Besides, everyone knows that just like all zoos and pedos all furries end up in hell. So what exactly was Vivziepop onto?

Enjoy it for what it's worth, this character will either become insufferable or lame in the next season.

Brilliant assertion. Everyone talks of "Men writing women". Some would fire back at "Women writing men". Yet I see the problem of "People from broken home/daddy issues/childless people attempting to write married couples with children."

It's a good question. Personally, I never liked the idea of "anthros" and humans coexisting, so to speak. It just seems to break immersion. A good example out of this is Crash Bandicoot: Neo Cortex and Nitrus Brio are scientists that genetically modified animals from N. Sanity Island and made them anthropomorphic, but you have humans still.
But to address your question - I have no idea. Maybe she wanted to incorporate her Zoophobia idea somehow?

He'll hopefully get what he fucking deserves, by Lucifer. Then again, I think too many people tune in the show for his """wit""" and for him being "scary ;_;" so he may stay around a while only to become a retard. "Muh queen, i dun want it".

She could have done it in that furry convention episode of Helluva Boss. Their storyboard guy Ludo, who’s a furry and an established vore artist, got a full scene with his and Kesha’s fursonas, not to mention other crew members being depicted as background hellhound characters.
