There is an easy solution for this. It's so obvious that even a person who's never flipped a page in the bible (Vivzie) would be able to come up with it.

Lucifer owns all souls who end up in hell. Ergo, he doesn't let anyone ascend to heaven, because he would view it as a personal insult that he "lost" a soul he owned. He already hates it when souls on earth don't fall to his clutches, do you think he's going to let it slide on his own backyard?

You could even make it so that the only reason Pentious ascended to heaven was because Lucifer was too preoccupied with Adam to notice him slipping his grasp.

Fuck it, he could even act the exact same he normally does, but make it clear that he's manipulating everyone around him with his uwu Le depressed softboy persona, but in the meanwhile actively undermining his daughters project.
I agree with @Doctor of Autism , unless there is a huge twist of "Hey look, Lucifer is a goofy good face (while still threatening), while Alastor is le scary sexyman", somehow swap things and show the latter doing an ultimate sacrifice to rid Hell of Lucifer? I don't know how would that be feasible.

Also here's a meme from e621 I found: (also the seething at the comments - https://e621.net/posts/4873462)

Side note, I wish SHIT-fty (Nifty) had as many hate art as Stolas (and maybe Alastor) had. Maybe have Chadam back from the dead and stomp that little shit into mush, or idk.

I have to admit that I liked this short, but it also makes me sad because I think about what the show could have been.

This thread is so damn comfy.
Ha! It's why I keep coming back. I was worried I would be talking too much but... I guess I am socializing here, more than often. The talk is good. Here, have this: (source)

I mean Nifty is one of the only entertaining characters in Hazbin and isn’t as obnoxious as Alastor and Stolas.

Hell Stolas needs more hate art if anything, that obnoxious owl became an albatross around his shows neck.

Alastor at least got BTFO by Adam which made up a little for the obnoxious Gary Stu treatment he gets

Niffty is my least favorite Hazbin character by far. She has massive “teh penguin of doom!!!111 *holds up spork* XD” energy with her one-note yandere personality. People like her because she’s the zany chaotic one but that’s all her character is thus far, assuming her backstory eventually gets explored. It’s refreshing to see hate for her.

I mean the entire show would need to be rewritten for that twist to work and a character like Alastor would have to be removed or become a complete good guy, not to mention how in season 1, Lucifer somehow had enough pull with Heaven to allow Charlie to have a chance to pitch her redemption idea to them.

Lucifer as in canon is written as a decent father with depression, which is kind of absurd how Vivzie decided to go in that direction despite having an easy villainous character to write about in her setting where she already plans on having other demons be evil, and likes to use daddy issues.

But somehow she just makes Lucifer a good dad who is probably the only thing closest to a good father between her two shows, even more than the Gay Owl she insists is a good father but probably one of the worst ones.
Funnily, or really disappointedly enough, Lucifer was originally going to be a villainous character. In the Pilot you can even see him ominously silhouetted with some Overlords during the opening song.

Having something like Lucifer be the head of Hell who allows Sinners become Overlords as long as they know their place and help enforce his will towards the wider Sinner population would have been a neat concept to see instead of some bumbling dad who's basically impossible to take seriously.
And I already said this here, but it would have also reinforced a plot thread I wished to see that Overlords are never even half-decent people, they're not the type to end up in Hell because they were a by the numbers asshole or petty crook, but the people who have absolutely zero moral values and only care for money and power, because the way Hell's society functions means having those values ensures you'll never be more than a minor local power that inevitably becomes easy pickings for real Overlords.

Man if I had a nickel for every time Vivzie planned to make a cool villain only to make them a good guy in her shows, I’d have two nickels. It’s not much but weird it happened twice (Lucifer and Stolas)

Interesting, on the first point. And yeah, I wish Adam had done some more damage to that deer, maybe scared him a little (taken off that stupid smile off his face).
As for the second, I'd love to see a Omni-Man like fatality on her, heh. Such a huge eyeball would have EYE POPPING RESULTS!

I want this on a shirt
I think the original (Blitzo KYS) is a Hazbin merch! Funnily enough.

Not only that but he was taller. The lore of Lucifer is not nice, and depending what side of study you go in gnosticism and such, he has pretty big powers in essence of "Don't fuck with me". No "radio demon" would come close to his power, and I'd say he would eat them all for lunch, being the "original one".
Also is Carmina, the one at prominent frame there, the one who people keep saying is "Roo", who is Eve - and Lilith who swapped places? I still have no idea why "Roo" is a name used...

Roo is supposed to be short for the Root of all Evil
Thank you.
Wow! That's retarded!
Precisely. When I think of Roo, I think of Kangaroo, not ROO(t of all Evil). And is this supposed to be an ultimate form of Eve being the "final boss" of the series? This will be doubly retarded if so. Wow, not even the hardest misogynist could think of a plot like this (if that will be the case - unless the blame will fall on Adam, and he will be the secret "final boss and pretending to be dead"). This Genesis fanfiction is something else lol.

If I recall from the leaks, Roo is a separate (and original do not steal) character from Eve. She is basically a secret antagonist to continue with the video game analogy.

I see. So I checked the "fanon" wiki and it seems like the fans treat """"kanga-root of all evil"""" as Eve - but I swear I could find an "anti-god" in there as well.

Nothing Striker can't solve.

It has actually happened more than twice to be honest. Maybe not full blown villains, but definitely being more antagonistic. With Helluva Boss, you got Asmodeus, Fizzaroli, and Verosika. You could argue that they aren't supposed to be villains, just people that go/went against Blitzø and his crew, but you can't argue that they were immensely softened in season 2 compared to season 1.

With Carmilla, she was supposed to be a more cold-hearted, business woman, especially when you look at the audition leaks. Definely not this supposed 'mother-figure' that would do anything to protect the people she's close to and love. She wasn't even supposed to have children.

Personally I think with the other characters aside from Carmilla it works better.

Fizz and Asmodeous while softened right away at least had a very blunt indication they were gay for each other and had a rushed turn to redemption.

Verosika also has some of her bite to her since she has more animosity towards Blitzo.

Lucifer well yeah he was changed between the pilot and series but I can give credit that we didn’t see a full blown antagonist Lucifer so there isn’t much to really go off of, though it creates issues where Vivzie has to definitely write him off or make him a jobber for her plot to work.

Stolas is probably the worst of this since in the pilot he’s a complete scumbag, season 1 has him still be the same scumbag but with depression and family issues, and season 2 just makes him an uwu sassy owl boy who did no wrong.

Stolas feels like a different character in the pilot, the first season, and the second season without any transition to any of it.

Yeah, Stolas is by far the worst contender since he is (or became) a main character. Again, you could argue with the others that because we didn't get enough screentime with them, we couldn't fully understand what they're character was about. But with Stolas, we got an entire episode on what he was like in episode 2 of the first season, either an appearance in almost every episode after that. Next to Blitzø and Moxxie, he is probably the most developed character in the series. So we know what kind of a person he is like.

And I'm not saying Stolas couldn't change as a character. Even if I didn't like the direction the season finale was going with (and believe this character change was still going too fast), I can acknowledge the turning point they were trying to make with Stolas; the face that he has been treating this 'relationship' as just a sexual one, and if he wanted there to be more to him and Blitzø, he would have to make changes and treat Blitzø better.

But then season 2 comes along and gaslights the audience to thinking that Stolas has been treating Blitzø fine, that there were many times he didn't treat Blitzø like a sex toy. Even though we've never seen that happen in season 1, but just look at these text messages that you have to pause and read, or hear what these other characters have to say about the relationship. Because that's what we use our visual medium for; characters just saying what is happening instead of showing it to you ourselves. And yes, even when Stolas was being sexual with Blitzø, it's okay because Blitzø liked it...even though, there were many times you could see Blitzø either being annoyed and/or uncomfortable with Stolas' advances. But that's just because he was playing hard to get. Besides, it's his fault for leading Stolas on in the first place. He was the one who started it, and we know that if you consent the first time, that means every other time that person wants to have sex withyou they can.....oh wait.

It would be nice as fuck to see "concept"-Lucifer punch an Alastor-sized hole in the ground and make him eat a nasty teeth porridge, just to get that smirk off his face. Part of the reasons why I like to see Alastor pissed off is that, someone outsmarting him, yet I wish someone would grab him and say "wipe this shit off, you don't scare me or anyone motherfucker". Oh well, maybe in the upcoming seasons. Vivianne said the sexyman isn't afraid of Lucifer, so not really my problem. I still think Vagyna will end up killing Alastor, or she'll subvert expectations and he'll fall off a cliff and break his neck.

As for the rest of the "antagonists"/father figures/etc - Stella was the worst fucking offender. You got someone who could really be a force to be reckoned with, basically Helluva Boss' own (discount) Olenna Tyrell/Queen of Thorns: stressed, unhappy and perhaps not liking her position, but using her utmost wit to torment Stolas whenever he was being a jackass and make comments on why he's an unworthy leader/successor. Perhaps not relaxed and calm, just more stingy and easier expose herself, yet harder to hit. She could have been a "great" feminist icon even if people wanted to see it that way, but no! People made it as if she's hysterical, evil and petty. Congratu-fucking-lations. Is that the part where the series that is made for a male audience? Because I'd rather read Les Rois Maldites/The Accursed Kings by Maurice Druon (and a huge influence to ASOIAF!), where there is plenty of women in position of power who used their power and influence against men of power - Such as Philippe le Belle's (Philip IV) Isabelle of France (The She-wolf), a woman I have a begrudging respect for. But I doubt Vivanne or even Brandon Rogers would be aware of this book. (Funny thing about Edward II, the husband of Isabelle - some claim he was a homosexual. He would be a perfect influence for Stool's Ass. He would be seen as an incompetent ruler until Octavia came of age and could perform her duties. But even fucking Edward II must have been a better father, seeing that Edward III grew to be an admirable king by modern historians according to Wikipedia - take that as you will. Interestingly enough, he faced the beginnings of Black Death & Hundred Year War against France)

Complete offtopic, but I was listening to W.A.S.P.'s rendition of AC/DC's "Long Way to the Top (if you wanna Rock 'n Roll)" and this part "Hotel Motel, Makin' women cry", made me think of "Hotel Motel, double barrel shotgun, blastin' demons all night in hell" No idea why I wanted to insert Doom Slayer in there. If anyone wants to participate in this game. lol.
Speaking of Doom Slyaer, this guy does pretty good videos with Doom x Hazbin & Helluva.

Her sin that led her to hell was suicide because she intentionally let herself be killed by a demon.
If she wasn't a horny kook what was she supposed to do? Keep her amulet on and pick up a silver cross and stab blitz in the heart with it? That's like blaming a murder victim for their death because they didn't fight back hard enough.

Honestly if these shows were allowed to cross over directly instead of just little mentions here and there emberlynn could be a candidate for Charlie's hotel..along with Jimmy and the counselor he killed to simp for barbie wire.

Charlie: you guys let two minors who didn't know what they were doing and a young woman clearly suffering....problems into he'll knowing they could be killed in the purges? Remind me who the monsters are supposed to be again?

But of course much like how they mentioned Hitler once but won't show us zombie nazi overlord of hells fourth Reich Hitler. They have potential for good ideas, but would rather focus on vivzies jill of material.

Speaking of which....nobody else is gonna say it? I really have to be the one to point it out?....OK bur I won't like it.

Let's give her the benefit of the doubt and say it's a novelty replica made with white epoxy or paint. Especially since emberlynn doesn't posses the
.."anatomy" to produce white fluid...plus said fluid doesn't naturally stay white.

As to what it's a reference too? If you don't know it's better you not find out.
