I mean Satan in Revelations was a dragon with multiple sets of horns plus it fits the whole dragon aesthetic since dragons could have many horns.

It feels like Viv definitely simplified it like how she gave Leviathan two heads instead of like seven

Art graduate take: This is awful. Hes suppose to be a strong man and this design just sucks. Just looks like the hellhound design, his legs are trash. Also out of all the characters to have extra arms why doesn't the strong man have them, he'll use them more than Kesha furry. Mammon makes sense as he's greedy so more arms= more to take or grab...

You know, Viv has written herself in a corner with the goetia family, especially if she shows flashbacks to Octavia's childhood:

If Stella is written like the one-dimensional bitch she became, it will make Octavia stupid to not have realized sooner that her parents never loved each other and that Stolas wasn't the one to initially cause her family life to crumble.

If Stella is written to be a decent person while Octavia was growing up, then Stolas is very much a liar and all the problems he is dealing with were caused very much by him and him alone.

I could imagine them writing that Stella hid her abuse to Stolas from Octavia and acted pleasant around her, but that's just a retcon to what her character has been established to be; stupid and not subtle at all.

I think the buttons (?) on the vest are supposed to represent dumbells but it's too subtle for it's own good, especially for vivzie who is never subtle. He dresses like a generic dirty biker.



This reminds how Bee had no "animal tamer" asthetics so vivzie changed her dress for the court episode but it missed the mark cause people thought it was a military outfit

The only other interesting thing about Satan is how he has imp striped horns. This is because he apparently invented imps or whatever. His arms are also assimetric for no reason.

We're already in the first case with Stella being too one dimensional and stupid for Octavia to look rational.

The reason more so many people attacked Via is because "Octavia is petty and dumb" is more logical than "Stella is smart and manipulative".

I think i commented here before Vivzie made Stella too blatantly evil to believe she faked for Via's sake and too stupid to believe she gaslighted her daughter. Something is gonna get retconned and if vivzie truly hates Stella she's retcon her into a gaslighter despite not making sense with any of her scenes.

She's been in the corner since S1 Ep4 when she herself came down and told the churbs to fuck off. Cracks showed them first real episode Murder Family. Like why would Satanists try to kill demons which they hail. If it were me I would of wrote it to be that Blitzo comes up and they take him as Satan and hail him. Blitzo being an attention whore gladly takes credit making his own little family cult where he makes them cause mayhem. The Millie and Moxxie come up asking why the hit isn't done. The mother overhears this and realizes that Blitzo isn't their idol gets pissed. Blitzo and them unaware of this of course tells them that it's fine and that he'll just make them kill themselves thus they go to automatic hell (drinking kool-aid). The family bait and switches it rendering the demons unconscious and then the rest that happens in the show ending shit.

Most of the sins are not that well designed, Queen Bee being the most egregious, quite literally a sparkledog. Satan himself is not the worst but you will think that with someone that's meant to embody the sin of wrath, his design would reflect that instead of a biker with hints of being a gymrat.
Some fans have made better designs by having him be a warrior ready to release war onto his enemies or even a gunslinger since the wrath ring is also the redneck/cowboy part of hell:

The cowboy design is cool! Another character I could see giving proper advice to IMP or at least somewhat indirectly setting a good example for their business which they should observe because Satan is calm in Helluva Boss despite being the sin of Wrath and at least decided to settle things in a court instead of barging in IMP and smashing shit while screaming and yelling. IMP acts like a bunch of hyperactive ADHD Gen Alphas who cannot sit still for a millisecond without mommy's iPad.

Speaking of kids, someone commented Helluva Boss is not a show for adults - it's a show for teenagers. Their humor is for teenagers who are at an age where they think cussing, abusing substances, sex, and being dark edgy Satan is the height of a super-awesome adulthood. No wonder her fandom consists of mostly teens and adults stuck in the teen stage.

Except that some of the fandom believes that Stella did manipulate Octavia to break off from Stolas...even though as the audience we Stella NOT manipulate Octavia at all during that episode. Doing quite the opposite actually.

We all know that the sins are suppose to be base off circus acts (well, attempt to and fail miserably), but each ring has its own trademark gimmick of itself: Western Cowboys for Wrath, Crime and Mafia for Greed, Kinky Horniess for Lust, but alongside the fish theme, Envy's going for a... tragic comedy theme. The Envy app on Blitzo 's phone looks like this :

Glitz is mostly seen grinning while Glam is mostly frowning:

One of Leviathan's heads is usually smiling while the other also frowns:

There's also the fact that Envy's the only ring we've yet to see, so it's anyone's guess on how the place is going to be depicted. Or how Leviathan is going to depicted given the reoccurring instances of the sins behaving opposite of what their respective sin is. (i.e., Ozzie preaching consent, Bee being concern over indulgence, Satan acting calm, etc.)
