Four episodes of Helluva and no HH.
Personal project vs. studio project. Helluva is pretty much an internet only thing that is released as it is made. HH is coming out with all the episodes for the presumably first season when its done being made by a professional studio for whatever platform its going to.

I really don't understand why people don't see the clear difference between the two show's production.

This. People need to understand that Helluva is a much smaller Internet-only project that is meant to be churned out faster, we'll pretty much be getting one episode per month. Hazbin is going to be on TV and is being handled by an actual production studio. We're not gonna be getting episode one for quite a while.

Tbh HB is growing on me. I wasn't hugely impressed with the last episode but the first two were pretty good. The characters generally have pretty solid bants and it's edgy but not too edgy, because trying not to get demonetized on YouTube imposes some standards.

It'll do for now, and whet my appetite for more HH.

Same. I wasn't a huge fan of Helluva at first but now I look forward to it. I can wait for Hazbin.

Yup, it's about to happen.

Well if nothing else, I can appreciate the comedic timing and toon physics of the episode, delivering on the wackiness promised. I still kind of prefer how it was handled with the first episode and I hope the choppiness won’t be a reoccurring theme in the future.

I’m pretty pleased with the first glimpse of Heaven we got. It ended up being more nuanced than I expected and I want to see what happens to the cherubs next.

Also, holy crap Paul Villeco was on this episode. I never expected to see his name pop up again and on a show like this.

The new episode is here.
Not as good as the last episode but still good. I loved all the costume changes the three go through (the drag one was as brief as I expected). Moxie and Millie tongue-tying with guns a-blazing was pure gold. :heart-full: The CHERUBS were.......okay?? Their voices managed to not be ear-bleeding. Kudos.
Anyone know who that memory dedication at the end was?

The episode was bad if only because a lot of the writing (specifically the stuff referencing poor people/capitalism) felt less like actual dialogue and more like the beginnings of shitty Twitter threads. The Cherubs weren’t really funny or interesting either.

I’ll be honest in saying that with every new episode that comes out I lose interest in the show. I don’t know, maybe I’m just getting over the novelty of this being such a big-scale indie cartoon.
