Every day I wonder how things would be if either of these shows followed up on or stayed true to their initial premise.

What's to expect? If you're a woman in Viv's show or if you're not her favorite fag, then you get no development. Helluva Boss is a weird show - it manages to be both feminist and sexist. It has a lot of female/effeminate characters, but then, it doesn't develop the female characters. OR, Viv sees being violent and heavy-handed as "character development "
Angel Dust is a prominent example. I actually thought he was a silly-voiced girl character first time I saw the pilot. I wonder if Viv just actually wanted to make a boob joke with the fluff on his chest. That was hilarious because I saw a lot of Troons cry about this. Viv offending her own target audience is just funny or maybe some people just want to be offended about something.

Yes, I'm not complaining either as a matter of fact. I think this is a "positive" thing for the show, to remind the audience that you should be mindful to "cheer" for protagonists, as they are not nice creatures after all.

It's a real pet peeve of mine when humans are drawn with those pointy fingers, beyond the uncanny effect, it gives them demonic features, I can't feel bad for him if he looks like a human-demon.

Unfortunately, I think all of us will be disappointed on that end. Remember these writers love nothing more than a good therapy session, and there will be nothing more therapeutic for the Stolas’s of the world, than the daughter, who rightly hates her dad, sees that she’s wrong and comes back crying and begging for his forgiveness. And the normies will think it’s a good ending for them as well, because look at the last short, they’re shocked that the amoral assassins did an amoral assassination. It’s all protag centered morality, and Stolas and IMP are the protagonists. In a better world, people would be rooting for Cherub and Dhorks to win against the IMPs, but for some reason everyone thinks the purple sheep cherub will get a ‘redemption arc’. WHAT REDEMPTION DOES HE NEED?! HE’S THE GOOD GUY IN THIS SCENARIO!
That's the problem when everything is "representation, representation, representation." You might just end up using a stereotype no one will like. I completely understand people raising their brows at Viv's hell verse because so many of the characters in Hell are sex-hungry deviant demons and the person in heaven is an alpha male misogynist.
Speaking of art, I really have the creeping suspicion almost none of the human appearances were designed by Viv. Not even Mr. Wiggles whose design is SUPER SIMPLE to draw and even animate.

It's also so obviously sexualized, you know in case it wasn't clear that Stolas is gay. I know we complain all the time about the female characters but the males aren't any far better specially the twinks who only exist to be eye candy for the fujos.
