Yeah, this is why I never really cared when it came out. I have waited literal years for quality content to come out from creators I like that didn't require a tenth of the effort needed to make Helluva boss.

8 months for another free episode of a fairly high quality show by TV standards (let alone YT standards) is nothing if not impressive to me rather than disappointing.

While it's misleading, I imagine that the show's fans would have still lapped it up if it released as part 2 on schedule. At the same time though, harassing them over a product that's being released for free is pretty fucking gay.

Again, I get that they were proud and shit happened, but they still should've tried to make this clearer earlier. A simple statement along the lines of, "Hey guys we know you're excited for episode 8 but it's actually not narrative-driven, still we hope you enjoy it!" would've saved them a lot of grief from the fans acting like entitled children. I feel for Viv but she and her team still ended up misleading a lot of people.

That said, the harassment is ridiculous. They're giving us this show for free on YouTube of all places. Waiting for longer than I'm used to isn't going to kill me, especially if it means higher quality.

Are you even surprised? These are the same people that are begging for Zoophobia to come back, when the comic was OK at best and the short was meh.

Not saying Viv's deserves that hate, she certainly doesn't, but to be fair, you kinda gotta expect this kind of shit when you make the kind of thing that appeals to the Tumblr/ Twitter crowd. Those people will take the tiniest thing and find a way to make it seem like the collapse of civilized society.

I actually want this series to turn into RWBY.
By that I mean that I want to see creator breakdowns, firings over not being woke enough, staff being caught grooming kids, somebody quitting after dealing with sexual harassment, or even a report of violence.
I am waiting for the day that happens.

Enjoyment now a days is tainted by identity politics and scandals. I have yet to see a single recent work of western media that hasn't fallen into this trap. I have given up on watching shows and playing video games as a result.
It is only through dumpster fires and the total colapse of a woke product that there is any feeling of pleasure that can be felt.
I am sorry to say this, but this is the world we live in. And I think a lot of people just want it to burn.

While Ido agree with that statement, I still feel that we should have been advancing in quality rather than decaying into a sewer plant.
We shouldn't even be in this situation, we should be witnessing the next evolution of entertainment. Instead, we get forced politics and a sense of contempt for anybody who used to indulge in the company's products.
Nostalgia only lasts for so long until you realize that things only got worse from there.
I just want it all to die out, because there is just no Avenue for recovery and i would rather see the franchises be put out of their misery.

Bro, this won't last forever. The "dark age" of animation in the 70s and early-mid 80s, for example, gave rise to the animation "Renaissance" of the late 80s and 90s, which was driven in large part by animators like Don Bluth going "yeah, fuck this bullshit, we're gonna make something better". So too, shall creative people sick of Woke nonsense create stuff that's decisively non-woke. We're already at the beginning of this stage, with movies like Joker and, arguably, the subject of this very thread.

In hindsight, I realize that I took things too far. I just feel like the the whole world has gone insane. Everything I loved has undergone changes for the worse, and anyone who tries to make things better gets shunned by society to the point that notthing feels joyful. Nobody ever really wants to be negative all the time, but it feels painful loking at what you once loved tirned into a shell of its former self.

I can't say that Hazbin Hotel will retain any quality by the end of next year., especially since it attracts the worst kind of tumblrite nutjobs on the internet.
