That's typical with adult-targeted cartoons, kids are always bound to get drawn to them regardless.
Something I’ve seen from VRchat’s Hazbin Hangout; a lot of kids are really into this show. I see a lot of 12-13 year olds wearing Hazbin avatars. Is that the general age demographic everywhere else? It really wouldn’t surprise me if it is because it looks like a show I’d probably enjoy back when I was 12 and really into Happy Tree Friends.
I can confirm that was around the age I started watching shit like Drawn Together. No regrets tbh

Did she leave? Where did that happen? Don't have a functional Twitter account but she was reading Stolas's GRIMOIRE from what I could tell.

I doubt she escapes the awfulness of Goetian tradition that easily anyway.
Yeah I'm not sure where they got this from, all we see is her rifling through the grimoire. Plus I can't see her wanting to leave home considering the fear she had of Stolas abandoning her for Blitzo. She loves her dad too much.

I guess I should have reword it better. Not leaving for good, more like taking a break away from her parents.

If I were a kid I probably would be too. Edgy, cute, fun.
Leave them alone unless it's necessary to stop predators.
VRChat is creepy and would keep it away from children, this rabbit hole is endless. This timestamp tells you everything you need to know.

Looks like children shouldn't be using a VR headset, anyway. Don't let the Internet take care of children. iirc manufactures recommend ages 13 and up.

That looks to be the GRIMOIRE Blitzo stole from Stolas. More likely it's Octavia reacting to Blitzo funneling things out of her dad.

Yeah I mentioned in the Hypnotist Sappho thread that VRchat players scared me. A lot of kids from what I've seen like to sport hypersexual anime characters or women in BDSM outfits. There's one video I watched where a 12 or something year old kid was in a game called 5 minutes in heaven where you spin a bottle and if it lands on 5 minutes then you go into a private room and essentially fuck with the person who I think is next to spin the bottle. The kid happened to be next and so a grown man who landed on 5 minutes in heaven tab took the kid into the private room while everyone else in the room who were over the age of 21 were telling him "Have fun!" and the kid after 5 minutes exited the room and he was piss ass drunk because he was drinking in real life like you're supposed to when you play this game. I don't know fucking VRchat is a scary place for me. Grooming apparently is fucking rampant in that game from what I've heard and it's den of pedophiles.

Been looking through older episodes trying to what the teaser meant.

Pilot episode has the same Blizto circus poster, walls, frames and blinds. Room orientation doesn't match and the pilot has different framed pictures.

The more logical guess would be the Octavia scene is taking place in Blizto's office. Makes sense to hide something valuable there and the same circus poster appears. In the next shot we see behind Loona the other side of the room.

Blizto steals the grimoire from Stolas, this is how the book looked like in the pilot.

In episode 1, Blitzo's office changes and adds the miscellaneous frame that appears in the Octavia teaser in the same place. Shows a larger view of the office.

Loona has a grimoire too...

For episode 6, Loona shows the grimoire prominently and Stolas sees Loona with the book.

Conclusion:
From looking through episodes, it's apparent from Octavia's perspective that Stolas fucks Blitzo, Loona has Stolas's grimoire and has some understanding on how to use it (creating portals to the mortal world, transforming into a human), IMP having Stolas's grimoire is a secret kept in their inner circle, and Octavia has to know what the grimoire is. She knew about the book since she was little.

Either those things or Octavia just wants to create a portal to Hollywood according to the Helluva 2022 trailer.

As I'm going through the episodes there's one character I really can't fucking stand and that's Loona. I'm utterly confused as to why people simp for this character other than her looks because she has no characterization to her at all and the show in Spring Break desperately tries to grow her a bit by having her be nice to some guy for a moment and then back to her one dimensional bitchiness the next. My impression of her is she's Vivienne Medrano's author insert fursona who is a mirror of her own personality she hides like a lot of deviantart ocs are, but what do I know, maybe there's some appeal I'm not getting. If it were me in charge, I'd have her deleted because she's just bloat to an already bloated cast, but if I HAD to incorporate her and establish character growth, I'd probably address her duality towards certain people and maybe the idea of facades and keeping people at arms length because in her mind, that's the only way to survive in her world and not in other people's.

So far she's pretty much just the token fapbait furry as far as I can tell.

Oh boy does it have to be relationship/family drama?

I get that Luna and Octavia need more screen time, but out of all things that go on in this plane and the other, is relationship/family drama the best thing to explore?

This series is devolving into a girly series, because it disregards plot, action and world building in favor of shitty relationship drama, eye pissing and emotional moments.

That was a good episode. The backstory stuff was good and I like Stolas getting more of a spine here and there. Also nice it wasn’t as simple as “Stolas is a bad dad”, more just shitty timing and bad communication.

Shittting on LA was great.

Absolute insanity 11/10 not even going to say anything other than that other than that Loona actually has a personality.
It's a step above her one dimensional bitchiness and ungratefulness that was grating to witness in the earlier episodes but now she's been upgraded from that to... literally every tsundere character you can think of in anime. I'll give her some credit the duplicity of her character actually does make sense given what she hinted at in the pound scene (which is an utterly stupid concept from a world building perspective but whatever) and her ungratefulness actually was justified because instead of choosing to contend with an overprotective dad who has a diabetically sweet persona, she HAS to contend with that because her options are extremely limited.

With all that said, this show is really starting to show signs of an identity crisis. I have no idea if Medrano here is trying to create a zany violent slapstick or if she's trying to create a dramedy. The show's starting to feel to me like a poor man's Dead Like Me from back in the day and I have a feeling, given a lot of other characters gave me deja vu in terms of their character design, she's taken "inspiration" from that show as well given how derivative in terms of plot structure and characterization the two shows are.

Remember when the show was going to be a quick, fun side-project to the more serious Hazbin?

I 'member.

Don't get me wrong, it's still seven steps above anything western studios are putting out these days, great voice work, good animation, all that jazz, but I didn't know I signed up for the Stolas show.

Honestly, the episode was decent. The writing was better (probably because Viv wasn't the writer this episode but that's just my opinion) and I chuckled a few times too. Animation was also pretty good as well.

I liked that they showed Stolas arguing with Stella, as it was getting tiring just seeing him either not engage or cowering. Plus him not fully paying attention to Octavia makes much more sense here as he's trying to deal with "the divorce", unlike episode 2 last season. Also, I liked it when Stolas shot back at Blitz with the memory thing. It's just nice to see this character have a bit of a bite to him instead of just being this constantly wet blanket.

The pacing was a bit wonky though, as I think some scenes went by too quickly, but I'd rather take that than the longer, boring scenes from last episode that overexplain everything. Loona deciding to find Octavia was good for her character, as it shows she doesn't soley care for herself and does indeed worry about others. And the scene between her and Octavia was sweet and felt natural.

Though I do have a few problems with this episode. The adoption agency for hellhounds being a dog pound was a bit on the nose and raised more questions instead of giving answers. I'm glad that Stolas wasn't constantly flirting with Blitz this episode, but the way he acted so casually given the last two episodes, it's almost like he forgot what happened between them. Though it could be for the fact that his daughter was missing so maybe it will be addressed later on. Since he still has feelings for Blitz, I wonder now if he's going to still give him the Asmodeon crystals. It could be interesting if he decides not to and still let's him use the book, but that soley depends on how Viv wants it to go if she chooses this option.

Another issue I have, though this is more about the entire show in general, is the continuity. Since Helluva Boss is becoming more serialized instead episodic, actions that happened need to have some sort of effect later on and character growth needs to stay instead of reverting beck like it never happened. Like with Loona, it felt she had changed just a bit but then immediately almost reverts back to what she was like at the beginning of the episode. All I could think of at the end of the episode was like "Damn Loona. Can you stop being a fucking bitch and let your dad give you one hug? Or at the very least just slightly push him away instead of just being so violent about it?"
