Because, according to Viv's passive aggressive ass, that's "just as inaccurate."
oh fuck off Viv, just admit that you had an attachment to your Ke$sha wolf OC and wanted to put her in as a bone to throw (heh-heh) to your long time fans. Stop being so self-righteous about shit.

edit: grammar

I'm not sure why people are just hating Vivz. She's ok. She's done some good things, maybe she will do some more. I want more Angel Dust and totally not in a gay way. Well okay, maybe in a sort of gay way.

Honestly she annoys me too much with her inconsistent storytelling and not having a solid plot (aka what we originally had from the pilot). I'm a shitty artist who can't even draw a proper figure but I would think having furry bait in my portfolio would be in bad taste outside the usual crowd.

I don't hate or even dislike Viv, really. My issues with her are that she's an inconsistent/sloppy writer, obviously never grew out of her fujo stage, and proves time and time again that she can't take any sort of criticism. It's frustrating. I do think it's a little too early to say that Helluva has turned to complete shit, but the show has certainly become more eyeroll-worthy than entertaining. Who knows, maybe Hazbin will be better.

I will say that the one positive thing about Bee is that she isn't a cartoonishly evil bitch, and/or overly-violent satellite love interest like every other female character is in this show.
I just don't like the model much. That's really the primary thing about an animated character.

Some of it's malicious and retarded, but some of it is intended to get her to improve. It's kind of a tightrope to disregard nonsense slung your direction while actually having the sense to pull up when the advice is good.

It's really a fairly common problem with modern animated series especially in the West when people can't seem to decide whether they want to do an episodic series where each episode is a self-contained thing, or have broad story arcs, relationship shit, etc., so you end up with these confused series that sometimes follow an arc and sometimes just drop stuff on the floor when they roll the credits.

So, it seems like Kesha and/or her team don't want any mention of their involvement at all. I'm sure that story is much more interesting than the actual episode.

And then of course there's the fact that hazbin and Hella had so much promise when they started. Helluva in particular since it was actually going to be an ongoing episodic youtube animated series. Somethings was all but dead thanks to several factors. (The fall of flash youtube being retarded with how it monetizes and what it considers popular ect)

We were promised a dark comedy about a group of assassins working for sinners to get revenge for sinners in hell, also that the show was going to be a return to what made western animation so endearing to begin with. And at first that's what we got but now...vivzies mask is off. More people are seeing both her and her show for what it is. It's essentially become the very thing it promised to rebel against when it came to the norm and the doldnrums western animation had fallen into.

as the saying goes, you either die a hero or live to become a villian.

More like born a villain and then living a more pitiful existence than promised.

Sound design was quite poor in this episode, not just music scene but in general, cant put my finger on it. + beelzebub VA is not so good too.

I know this is kind of off topic from what was being previously discussed, but I just realized that there have been no mentions of this expose from an ex-spindlehorse member so, here it is.

Half are good points, the other half are exaggerated/dumb; so like every other expose doc.

That's great Vivz, when's your show coming out?
The marketing for this show is so god damn weird, because there's no way it's coming out this summer, and all they have to show are some Twitter posts and gifs. We still haven't heard a peep about where it's airing or who the new voice cast is.

Honestly, most of the actually good parts of the pilot being written by someone different is completely believable for Viv. I don't really like expose docs, but the traced Cherri Bomb model image is probably true because it has hard evidence and not Discord DMs.

There is probably a straightforward explanation for this. Major musicians can have contracts with their recording companies agreeing that the copyright of any recording of a musical performance by that artist must be controlled by the company they are contracted with.

Now, how can she still have a speaking role? Why aren't the makers of Helluva required to get someone else to do everything? Because the musician's speaking voice is legally distinct from their singing voice in this regard. When Michael Jackson appeared on the Simpsons, he would speak his spoken lines but when his character sang anything a stand-in would take the mic and sing instead of Michael. He would have had a contractual obligation like this, and having him sing would have meant that the audio recording of the episode of the Simpsons had to be owned by Jackson's label and licensed to Fox for broadcast, home video release, merchandising rights, residuals and royalties, you can see why people agree to avoid that kind of arrangement. Kesha Sebert can have a speaking role in the recorded voiceover of a show with no difficulty but Ke$ha cannot sing in a recording that is not controlled by her record label and licensed to Spindlehorse for use in the show.

I suspect that the sudden delay was caused by people catching onto this issue too late. That they had a different animated sequence and song being worked on would imply that Kesha did perform this song, which would have been a contract violation. The existence of such an audio recording would be big legal trouble. I would guess that they hashed out an agreement to pretend that recording of Kesha singing never happened, but Vivzie wanted her to appear somehow, because fangirl, and the end result was the contrived arrangement we see now.
