There's been a fully completed pilot. Hayden Black was a pure scammer. No animation ever surfaced except a few seconds of some shit literally done in PHOTOSHOP.

I think I figured out why there was a big emphasis on teenagers in the more recent episodes (and why the characters are acting like them despite being grown adults) it's because teenagers are the only audience viv has left willing to wait for hazbin even if it means wasting their youth waiting for it. And tge only audience willing to put up with her lazy hack level writing.

Speaking of Lackadaisy, apparently there was some drama between the two. After the season 1 teaser, people started comparing Lackadaisy to Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel. There were some people that pointed out that Spindlehorse and Viv support Lackadaisy and that this isn't a competition. Viv backs this up by posting this tweet.

Apparently one of the crew members on Lackadiasy posted a passive aggressive comment about how there was no direct link to the support page for people to donate in the post. They immediately deleted their comment once they received backlash, but Viv still saw it. She made a tweet in response which she then deleted as well.

Lesson to be learned from this: Twitter is fucking stupid and too many people live their lives through it.

Fan fiction is one of the only place queer stories have existed for a long time.

And it should fucking go back into the fanfiction closet until fujoshits learn how to write romance. I haven't seen a competently written gay relationship in western animation since Mission Hill of all fucking things, and that was over 20 years ago.

If you want to be taken seriously as a writer, you need to:

A.) Write better.
2.) Stop sperging out on Twitter when you get criticized (justified or not).
D.) WRITE BETTER.

I could probably forgive how pointless and retarded the relationship drama between Blitzo and Stolas is if you would just stop defending it.

Couple of shower thoughts to add to the previous rant. First, defending poorly written gay relationships in fiction should be called man-on-man-splaining. Can't believe I missed that one. Second, I just realized what this whole situation reminds me of. And it doesn't bode well.

Shortpacked. Like Viv, David Willis had found modest success with some of his previous work, but was just starting to get wider recognition. Like Viv, Willis was capable of being pretty damn funny when he wanted to be. Like Viv, Willis decided that he didn't want to be funny, it was better to be Important™. Like Viv, he took a work that started life as a pretty good comedy and tried to serious it the fuck up with badly written gay relationship drama. (Okay, Willis did a lot worse than that to Shortpacked, but still...) Like Viv, Willis dismissed his former fans as MAGA chud ist-a-phobes who just don't, like, get it, man.

Should we call it Shortpacked Syndrome?

Damn, Viv. You're in your 30s. Ignore your critics, or accept that they might have a point, or just acknowledge that you can't please everybody even when you're doing a good job. Never, EVER tell your audience that they're just too stupid to understand your genius, even on the rare occasion that writers have that happen. And it's definitely not happening here.

Take this with a grain of salt and all that since I got this from Tumblr of all places, but apparently a member of SpindleHorse or one of Viv's friends went on a butthurt rant on 4chan recently where they mentioned us.

Alright, let’s talk, I really, really didn’t wanna post here again after the way you all treated me last time I tried to defend my friend. Viv is going through a hard time RN, and kicking her while she’s down is gross. Y’all should be ashamed. Let her have time to regroup before you throw your asinine comments. Viv is thick skinned and normally laughs at shits like you, but the stuff that’s been posted is just nasty. She’s not an idiot, she knows what she’s doing, you don’t have to rush her to do things, or harass her when she’s already stressed and upset. She’s a fucking human being.

Also, as for the leaks, they’re all fake. Every single one of them. It’s someone trying to make Hazbin/Helluva look bad so they can get at Viv, y’all should feel ashamed, but this is 4chan, you’ve probably never felt empathy a day in your life for someone that wasn’t a fucking cartoon owl or for shippers who go out of their way to force a ship and act like victims when they’re called out. (Seriously, I don’t use Kiwifarms, but I heard even they were disgusted by the way Charlastor fans treated Viv.)

If they're referring to those two episodes animatics, the same artist also had that scene with Loona and Octavia on their website which was shown in S2 Ep2. Also, those leaked animatics keep being removed so someone doesn't want it being shown around.

And if Viv could really take it, then she wouldn't be whining on Twitter for the umpteenth time about the most mildest of criticisms.
