People started talking about it before I could finish the post but here's more detail regarding:
The man who bankrupted himself so he could goon to Hazbin Hotel
Part 1: The Rise
Adym S. Evans (Better known as Verbalase, Beatboxer from Outer Space.) has been making beatbox videos on Youtube since 2006. He had a modicum of success with certain videos reaching millions of views, but found the most consistent acclaim through his "Cartoon Beatbox Battles" series.
The series skyrocketed off the popularity of a meme derived from a Thanos beatbox
The series started receiving a large amount of ironic and unironic support, and became the most successful project Ase had ever created. The videos while occasionally crude were kid friendly enough for Ase to been seen simply as a good intentioned goofy nice guy. It seemed like there was no where to go but up!
Part 2: The Part Where He FUCKED IT ALL UP
Animation takes a long time to produce, and Ase's viewers had become accustomed to having to wait a while for new releases. However, between the uploads of Pennywise Vs Patrick and Black Panther Vs Deadpool, there was a surprising 6 month wait

This tanked the popularity of the series and left Ase on a constant decline going forward. So, what caused this 6 month break?
This:
Ase privately comissioned animator Steven Chase to produce a cartoon where his self insert would meet Charlie from Hazbin Hotel. While apparently starting off as a more lighthearted project intended to be released publicly, it soon became a venue for Ase's character to be chased and sexually assaulted by the cartoon demon. Not only did this video completely kill his cashcow series, Ase had spent 50,000 dollars in the production of this video, practically bankrupting himself.
Part 3: The Fall
Ase's content continued to dwindle, losing more and more viewers with each upload. Eventually, he tried to raise more support for the series by releasing a video entitled "Help Save Cartoon Beatbox Battles!"
In it, he places the blame for the series decline on Youtube's failure to send out notifications of new uploads. In order to breath more life into the series, he declares a contest where in 9 Animators/Content Creators make 10 seconds each for a segment of a in production Battle, and one winner would be chosen to receive a signed Verbalase Plushie. No one would be actually paid for their work, but he promises the old chestnut of "exposure" and "bringing more subs" to the animators channel. The irony of promising Animators more views in a video where he literally calls his channel dead is astounding.
Following the latest Hazbin leaks, the Charlie animation was uncovered and started making the rounds on twitter, leading to Ase being mocked and losing the remaining audience and support he had. The creator of Hazbin Hotel, Vivziepop, has seen the AMV and commented on it
A thread going further into the Hide Away AMV
He's yet to respond to the situation, but even if he does it's safe to say that his career is most likely over and he can now take his place in internet history alongside AnimatedJames.
Oh, and I forgot to mention, this all got found out on his
birthday.
