Remember, Viv’s brain is permanently stuck in the 2000’s, it makes sense that she would like “lol random” humor.

It also explains why she continues in her fujoshi ways, and why she insists on inserting it almost everywhere she can in her works, despite fag/troon fatigue setting in since 2021.

To give Viv even the slightest modicum of credit, I assumed it was a 'reference' to how ducks look cute, but are actually fucking horrible monsters.

But far more likely y'all are right and it's 'lol random'. After all, that'd be making a rape joke, and we all known Viv only likes those when it's man on man and she can jill off to it.

Took a minute to find this.

Why did she draw herself wearing a hamburger cardigan?
WTF is wrong with bacon or chimps?

🤔

Don’t forget the way that Heaven is depicted in the show, which reeks of 2000’s “fuck you mom and dad, I don’t wanna go to church God is stupid!” fedora-tipping.

Bacon memes were everywhere during the late 2000s/early 2010s, partial credit due to Epic Meal Time. With that in mind, the Tumblr scene girls hated seeing this edible symbol of masculinity plastered all over the web over something more in line with their own tastes, such as Pumpkin Spice. I think I heard something about Bacon v. Pumpkin Spice debates being a thing on Tumblr at one point, but I'd have to do more research.

Inb4 we find out that Lucifer was kicked out of Heaven not for wanting to take over but because everybody got sick of his obsessive rubber duck collecting.

Don't the cherubs (from Helluva Boss) know what gets a person into Heaven? Is the afterlife run like a big corporation where one group has no idea what another department is doing?

It's because its funny! Lol! Rubber duckies!
Damnit you're right. It's probably a lol random thing, like that copypasta from 20 years ago.
You know I just realized that Lucifer’s rubber duck collection thing reminds me of that trope in media (Megamind, that one episode of Batman: TAS where the Joker thinks he killed Batman) where the villain gets put in an existential crisis after the hero is killed/incapacitated/gone. I’m not saying that the “God is missing” thing people have been talking about in this thread was supposed to be part of HH’s story, but it does seem to be a missed opportunity.
