Ahh, depending on which relationships they focused on then that might actually be right up my alley.

Hopefully it's Stolas x Blitzo.
Well, seeing as we've apparently found the target audience for the show, I'll ask a couple questions. 1) How much do you care about the quality and consistency of the world/setting of the show? 2) Does hell being overpopulated make any sense to you?

1) I don't even think about it. It feels like the people making it don't really care either and treat it as an incidental backdrop to the circumstances of the episode.

2) Of course not. Making Hell an actual geographic entity is retarded. It should be an infinite realm, or they're only there temporarily until their souls are consumed by Lucifer, or whatever. That aspect doesn't pertain to my interests though, so it doesn't affect my enjoyment much.

Wait, what happened? Did Helluva Boss turn to shit or did Hazbin Hotel turn out to be amazing?
Not really the opposite, but Helluva Boss got to get out a mostly good season before Vivz decided to go off the rails and so by the time HH actually came out with an episode, it had turned to shit, while HB took until S2 to do that. I was really looking forward to HH too. Whatever. This is why we can't have good things.

Unless Lackadaisy actually comes out.

Okay, so to not just talk about the gay drama I really wanted to say I loved that the CHERUBS were a big part of the episode even if they didn't actually affect anything in the end. The lamb guy still trying to be angelic and good while his colleagues are in survival mode was very cute. I was actually rooting for them to catch up to Blitz and have him explain what he was doing to their horrified little faces. The fight scene was cool, but it's not what I wanted. Should have had the Cherubs spy on Blitz to the point they heard the explanation of the Grimoire and the Asmodean Crystal, giving them intel on how demons enter the human world. But alas.
The Cherubs were carrying this episode on their back. Seeing them juxtaposed with Viv's childish ideas of Hell and sexuality was the biggest source of laughs.

It has come to my attention that reddit has a bunch of subreddit drama involving r/hazbin and r/antihazbinhotel and probably some others. I don't care enough to look into it and scanning through those subs as much as I did when I learned that has caused a few brain cells to die. I just think it's funny.

I'll look through the subreddits and grab some interesting screenshots when my internet isn't being the next Macintosh computer atm. That's something I feel will constantly happen since both antis and big time defenders fight each other like it's the next Cold War.

but if you're telling the truth then I'm so fucking back. Stolas/Blitzo are such a cute pair.

They're a pair that ruined the show and has no actual chemistry or real progression. They're a pair that took HB into a BET drama series and everyone's just gassing that up. I will never understand how people are into this ship. It's a ship that just doesn't add up. A ship with no real value or merit to it other than for people to make fanfics or sob under their blankets to.

I have no hate to anyone who does like the ship, cause that'd be really scummy of me and people are free to ship who they want, but I just got to know what exactly someone sees in this ship. If it's cause it's a pair you generally like, then I mean, I can't get mad about that. Like what you like.

But if you like the pair and the backwards path this show is going because of that pair and calling Stoliz a well written couple, then I'm gonna have give you a very noticeable side eye.

This isn't a direct target towards you, I apologize if it does seem like one as I did not wish to assume you had those ideals, it's just something I had to get out.

I really don't care if I'm the only person on Earth who enjoys the pairing; gay romance that I enjoy is virtually impossible to find these days so I'll take what I can get. It's almost all ham-fisted, or pandering bullshit, or a self-insert nightmare, or a complete afterthought. Demon hitman and royal bird boy? There's chemistry there to me.

Stolitzo Drama Angst Show
Not going to blabber on and on about it further, but this pleases me. Thank you for the heads up!

Brandon is also genuinely talented, honestly I have no why Vivzie didn’t let him continue to co-write season 2 like he did season 1 instead of hiring this Adam hack.
If you want to know what episodes that Brandon was the main writer for in season 1, just check the credits. His name will be first instead of Viv. This includes the pilot, episode 1, episode 3, and episodes 4; the episodes that focus more of the comedy instead of the story or drama. It also makes sense during the beginning conception of Helluva Boss, the only ideas of episodes Viv have were Loo Loo Land, Harvest Moon Festival, and Dhorks; all which Viv is the main writer. In my opinion, Brandon really helps bring out the comedy for the show. Viv has stated that she's terrible at writing comedy and is better at drama (debatable), and just thinks saying the word "fuck" is hilarious. Adam's problem is he likes to let a joke linger on for too long, or repeat the same joke over and over again. Out of the three, Brandon is the best at writing comedy since he actually knows how to set-up a joke.

Apparently Brandon will get his own solo episode this season that focuses on Millie. But if it's the Ghostfuckers episode, and if they keep the scene from the leaked animatic, then I don't know how that is the episode Brandon is writing. Maybe he'll be the lead writer, but Viv will also be writing for it. So it might hilarious with forced drama that will also be hilarious unintentionally.

IMO, this show would be WAY more enjoyable if they had just swapped sex of key characters so all the relationships are straight.

Or maybe it would make the show's flaws more noticeable and glaring because then it can't hide behind "UwU so gay and diverse and progressive!!!" and we have fewer Tumblrites and fujoshis gushing over it.

I'm the opposite, i think Stolitz was, at worst, very unique and interesting so i can see why people fell liked it in season 1, but i dont get how they still like it in season 2.

Stolitz was a rare case of actually "realistic twosided toxic yaoi". It's two assholes exploiting one another out of "necessity" and becoming codependent. You can call that fujobait yea but at least it's not fluffy uwu boring or cruelty porn (which is saying something).

But then season 2 turned them into childhood friends, UKEfied Stolas and turned both into angsty f a g g o t s and i dont understand why people like this. Stolas was once a fun character but he's so goddamn boring now cause all he does is cry about blitzo and actively dragging this show down.

This is like how Yang x Blake from rwby got popular by accident since people liked their dynamics (energetic bimbo x sassy goth) but when writers shipped them for real, they both turned into angsty bitches and arent fun to watch anymore but the shippers already spent too many years shipping them to stop.

With Stolitz i feel its sunken cost fallacy too. It's like everyone knows Stolitz turned into a fanfic of itself but they spent too much and effort to quit now. Modern fandom are also insane because they can be fully self sustained from headcanons alone so canon doesnt even matter anymore.

Yeah I’d say it was more interesting in season 1 because both of them were scumbags exploiting each other but had complicated feelings that fucked them up

But there’s a lot of unintentional comedy with the gay ships in these shows.
