One of the few good episodes of the show. This is really what the full moon should have been. Love the power ballad. Gonna say Stolas and Blitzo are redeemed. As usual I despise how close some of the music in this series is playable in a car with other people. Then they just fuck it up.

Faggotry is inevitable.
You’re an idiot.

I'm not saying Vivzie has to coddle Blitzo but she drowned on the "Suffering builds character" koolaid.
Who’s the dummy who came up with that idea, anyway?

I always thought the whole “Suffering builds character" was stupid because technically, everyone suffers in their own way.

After watching the last episode I'm trying to make sense of the show without watching all the episodes again. It seems that this relation in the show just looped for no good reason and told in a poor way just to have a big emotional moment at the end.
big emotional moment at the end is part of the formula for this show.

The "creator Intent" behind this show makes the characters and story boring and repetitive, with no progression.
Remember this scene?

I don't it was long time ago, but it does sure sound very familiar.

So in short my understanding of this episode is, the writers can only write 1 thing and are fine with resetting (what I can remember) an entire relation between to characters in a bad way just so they can stick to the formula. Very sad. Anyway do you guys have more blacked fan made characters of this show?

The fucking melodrama is unintentionally hilarious. Like this drama was meant to be deep but any attempts to be serious just are laughable. Especially the dramatic monologues that feel like they came from a first time playwright. At this point I expected one of them to scream “YOU ARE TEARING ME APART!”

Though the jokes this episode that aren’t sex jokes got a chuckle out of me like Stolas being summoned by satanists and the gift basket montage.

The Stolas song is probably the worst part of the episode mainly for the meaning behind it. If I turned my brain off, it’s decent background noise and it’s decently animated. But putting brain cells together show me for what it is, and it is cringe.

As I've mentioned before, the V's should have been the main villains for season one, and then for season 2 we could have focused on heaven and angels. Because, after facing against the one thing that could possibly kill them, how are three overlords going to compare? Not only do they have angelic weapons, Charlie's relationship with her dad is fixed so they also have fucking Lucifer on their side! I suppose Lilith/Eve might be an antagonist, but it seems like that will be saved for season 3 (if we get a season 3 that is). Shouldn't a show increase the stakes for the protagonists each season? Why are we going backwards?
I guess they could have the Vs just be the pawns for Lilith/Eve, given that Season 1 ends with Lute telling her to go to Hell and put a stop to Charlie. We know thanks to Emily's VA being a dumbass and posting a picture of the script of Season 2 a couple months back that Vox is going to hypnotize people by hijacking what seems like a broadcast of Emily and Charlie revealing that Heaven is now seemingly being on board with Charlie's plan.

But even that's stupid because if Heaven's leadership is now welcoming to Charlie's plan thanks to what happened with Pentious, Lilith/Eve has no real reason to listen to Lute. Unless somehow ONLY Adam and Lute knew she was in Heaven and all of Heaven's leadership was in the dark about it, which is even more stupid than the exterminations not somehow being known about even to high-ranking angels for centuries if not millennia.

Welp they ruined Verosika. Now she's just a broken ex who spends all her time treating Blitzo like her own personal ex-god and having whole parties about hating him. Even that motive rant at the end feels hollow because Viv physically can't bring herself to write anger against her obvious favorite that's valid. "The worst part is you still make me feel like a bad person for being angry at you now" fuck outta here.

The Stolitz shit is just hilarious atp because Noble Owl Demon stuff aside, Stolas is a grown ass man who can't process his feelings better than a 13 year old girl.

With Verosika, she honestly got off better compared to most of the female Helluva characters. As for this episode, I am going to pretend she got drunk and is talking out her ass.

But Stolas really is a manchild.

Helluva Boss was much better when it was centered on comedy instead of this gay drama that's every episode. Stolas used to be the overly horny comic relief. How did we get to this point?
Yeah even the episodes meant to be dramatic all have their high points in some of the jokes rather than the "emotional storytelling"

I always thought the whole “Suffering builds character" was stupid because technically, everyone suffers in their own way.

Cinema created a subconcious circlejerk that "true art is dark and angsty" so the internet thinks characters that suffer a lot are "better writen" than happy ones. Look at fans of berserk, last of us 2 etc..

Vivzie is well aware of this, as she herself pointed out that people only think Millie is boring cause she has no trauma, but she miss the point, by not getting that mille is boring regardless of trauma, and prove it right, by showing how her writing doubles down on trauma = depth. She feels like the kinda of person who brags about how self aware and media literate they are while proving the points they missed.

btw there is official anti-blitzo merch of the new episode telling blitzo to kill himself if anyone wants

You ever see a movie or episode of a show where a character acts like an obnoxious little shit to another character for several hours straight, but in the end the latter character is the one to apologize because they got sick of it and had the audacity to put their foot down?
That is literally the entirety of Stolas and Blitzo's "relationship" drama.
I love how HB fans thought the show would get formulaic and stale if it followed the main premise the pilot focused on, but the show's ACTUAL formula is the exact same repetitive slop of gay demons crying over cock and their dads, usually within the same sentence.

>The one day the spirits can rise against the living

BRUH WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU MEAN DEMONS CAN JUST GO TO REAL WORLD IN HALLOWEEN??? Why are the dhorks stading still, how is this not public knowledge, what makes this even possible, whats stopping demons from genociding humans, did heaven and lucifer agree with this-
This feels like a huge elephant in the room worldbuilding wise. Also, I'm 90% sure Viv stole that from something else. Maybe she wanted to put in a Halloween episode in the middle of the summer

Laughing too hard at this.
I also like how this dude at the end comments how he thinks Hazbin Hotel is also gonna have daddy issues in it. He made the video before it came out.
The 3 writers need to use the money they make for therapy.

You know, I just thought about something. What are the directions for these shows at this point?

So, apparently, redemption will be accepted by Heaven in season 2 of HH, and.. then what? What's going to be the main contrived plot for season 3? (If it even gets greenlit) Vivzie is literally shooting herself in the foot.

What about HB? Season 2 focused on this gay melodrama between Stolas and Blitz. What comes after? Are there going to be more episodes about this 'romance'? I honestly can't see the next episode just being a comedy about hellborn hitmen killing humans again. Like, what's the point? The other main characters already had their 'dedicated episodes'. Now what? Genuinely.

Ngl that playmat is pretty neat. Even if that whole scene is blatantly stolen from Naruto.
Fun fact: no matter how cool you think you are, you are SOMEBODY'S lolcow.
The trick is finding that person and marrying them.

These are always the top comments in the newest episodes and I hate that.

Anyway, I am genuinely baffled. My head hurts. I'm nearing MATI. Actually, no, I am MATI. Very MATI. I don't even know what to say about this episode. It breaks every single thing that the show has already shown us prior. It breaks everything related to what the show showed us, the audience, about how Stolas looked at Blitzo.

Not once did he ever "show support" or try to make things look meaningful. EVERY. Single. EPISODE. Was related to Stolas wanting to get down on Blitzo and only have the hots for him.

When did he ever showed genuine feelings?

Again for the 1000th time, when did he EVER talk to him in a normal fashion and actually treated him like a normal being? You're adding a false narrative just to make yourself look like the victim!

How did Blitzo upset this many people? I saw demons from the Greed Ring, one from Gluttony, and another from Sloth. Why is he being treated as this evil guy for doing BAD things to people in a place where doing BAD things is encouraged? Or again, is it just another plot thing where only HE'S getting scrutinized for it??

W H Y is this entire episode gaslighting a dude this hard? Not even domestic abusers put this much effort into guilt tripping their victims like this. And now we got a whole episode related to Blitzo "apologizing" to people?

Apologizing to MARTHA? A human-turned-sinner who tried to kill them in the very first episode of the series?

Why is he apologizing to her of all people? And why is she now with Mrs. Mayberry, the very woman she literally caused the whole first episode to begin with? This isn't "toxic yuri" goals, this is another case of lousy fan service. Why did it take a whole season and eight episodes to see her sinner form, anyway?

I can't deny, though. Her sinner design does go a bit hard. Didn't even know it was her until I saw the messy hair.

Sorry, guys, but I'm gonna have to make long blocks of text. At least this time, I'll put it under a spoiler.

Not right now, though. Need to be in the right headspace to go all out with how much I deplore this episode. I could tolerate Episode 8 a bit, but Episode 9 where it was just Blitzo Bashing, the episode? The episode where Stolas is STILL being treated as the victim here and NOT the preparator and that EVERYONE's eating it up? Just a few paragraphs won't do for me.

I nearly pressed the dislike button on the video, too. I don't usually press the dislike button on things, but this episode was my absolute breaking point in doing so.

It is funny too because the end of the last episode showed Stolas literally kicking Blitzo out of his house for raising his voice at him. Like what the fuck are you talking about treating him like a normal person.

This just makes the drama more hilarious than it should rather than deep or compelling.
