He's long gone, man. He's the kind of youtuber who goes one step forward and five steps back as he still continues to blindly praise the things that make no sense. How do we know this "fanservice done right" wasn't just done because of people's complaints about Viv's lack of lesbians in the show? She's just filling a quota and a diversity check, not putting any actual meaning to them. Stolitz is entirely fanservice yet you're still wildly praising it. You should know at this point that fanservice done by her never will make sense nor will actually impact anything other than making the characters and plot more broken than ever.

Not to mention, this makes the first episode of the whole series completely useless now. A waste of money for Mrs. Mayberry and a waste of time for all what I.M.P. had to go through.

Again, the majority of this fandom doesn't think. They just blindly geek at things without taking a second to ask themselves, "Does this even make any sense? Doesn't this break a whole lot of Season 1 and backtracks their entire I.M.P. purpose?". But that's asking too much.

Related to the dumb Martha x Mayberry ship, I realized something. How does Martha's sinner form not look so different from her human one where Mayberry is whole demon? For Mayberry, you can tell she's a sinner. ((Most)) sinners are completely different from their human counterparts, and they should! Martha isn't. She's just the same but with a different texture pack.

She even had a bit of a different design during the production of the episode. I'd argue she looked more of a sinner than what she looked like in post-production. Why'd they change that? This feels more believable than what we officially got.

I saw a thread on the subreddit with 2k likes of someone being upset at Stolas saying "You couldn't bother to help me!" when Blitzo was busy with Loona at the hospital and it hit me like, why didnt blitzo fucking mention that???

It would've been such a clapback if Blitzo said "I made an appointment for my daughter at the hospital 5 years ago and i had to stay with her. You didnt know that because you never asked about her. You dont know me at all Stolas."

Blitzo could even throw a low punch and say he may not be a good father but at least he keeps the promises he makes to his daughter. But instead Blitzo starts to stutter like he got super owned with facts and logic. He has to act horny, retarded and use the worst word choice to make himself look bad, all so Stolas can be justified.

Nothing in the show even makes sense anymore, man. Why was the Striker mention treated as a big deal? It's not as if Stolas DIDN'T know an assassin was out to kill him. Stella didn't try to hide it and in the Loo Loo Land episode he even mentions why he hires security. Yes, it was just an excuse to get his wish fulfilment, but he knows there are people that want to harm him.

At this point why not make Loona and Octavia gay for each other and get it over with. Mayberry became a lesbian for no reason anyway.

The comments on that thread are unbearable. They're justifying Stolas' getting upset cause his precious prostitute didn't save his life. They're saying Blitzo waiting five years for Loona's hellbies shot (which I'm assuming is a much worse case of rabies) is less important than Stolas' dying, something that Blitzo reasonably thought wasn't even possible cause he thought the dude was immortal. He was putting his daughter first, something that Stolas hasn't exactly done with his throughout the entire two SEASONS. At least Blitzo was willing to let a hack like him die off in favor for his daughter's medical needs.

Plus, it's on Stolas for taking most of the kidnapping situation as something lighthearted and not serious. It's on him for waiting till' the last minute to go "oh wow im actually in danger lol", which, unsurprisingly, he did NOT bring up to Blitzo.

Blitzo's not in the wrong for not visiting Stolas, either. He's not obligated to. If he did, he would only do it because he didn't want to lose his only ticket to having the Grimoire - not because he felt bad for him, but the show wants you to think that otherwise. Again, why would someone like Blitzo, who was still reasonably under the mindset that all Stolas sees in him is that he's a sex toy, care about some rich royalty who he thought would solve the situation himself?

Yeah, the show made him go "oh no.. h-he can get hurt...?" but in reality he'd most likely react with "He gets hurt? Well, that's a shame. I guess I have to make sure he doesn't pull himself into a situation like this again. Or maybe he should hire bodyguards that isn't me for once.".

I don't pity for Stolas one bit, but most of the fandom digresses cause it's their precious, relatable gay owl boy.

Also saw this comment and I feel so stupid for not catching that. Blitzo apparently DID inform Stolas about the hellbies shot in the episode so WHY didn't he add that up during the whole argument like Lucas said? Why does this show keep on making these two become the personification of the miscommunication trope???????

But that doesn’t mean it has to be canon, especially when the biggest issue is the fact it comes out of literally nowhere. There was no development. This is only their second appearance. What, did Martha kidnap Mayberry as revenge and give her Stockholm syndrome?

It’s obvious Viv only did this for her pro-LGBT supporters. Otherwise, she may as well forget that Martha and Mayberry even exist. Is she going to turn Lyle and Loopty gay next?

Viv tends to get bored with her female characters pretty quickly and doesn't know what to do with them, so they're usually just sent off to ship land so she doesn't have to worry about them except to drag out once in awhile for a cameo appearance.

There are a lot of shippers for them but i'm 99% sure vivzie wont make it canon as long as octavia is 17. If we see her getting her 18 birthday (big episode potential) and start getting scenes with loona, be prepared for the worst.

Imagine screaming at Superman to save your life but he's busy so he tells Flash to save you and you get mad at superman. In any sane media, that person would become a yandere villain but HB portrays Stolas' sadness as a genuine heartbreak we're supposed to empathize.

In short, the show keeps on having these two have terrible communication skills. It's no wonder they keep on misinterpreting each other or grossly exaggerating their actions. Though, most - by most, I mean 99% - of this can be targeted towards Stolas cause he got Blitzo so wrong on so many levels that I don't even think it's recoverable. I don't care if this is part of his character, it's not a dang excuse for such terrible dialogue that had no real setup or payout, especially if it's meant to have us feel bad for this dude despite all of Season 1 was him being the complete opposite to what he keeps swearing he wasn't at all.

You've changed indeed, Stolas, but you didn't change for the better. You changed to gaslight Blitzo into being with you. To make him feel bad that he's not falling under his knees because you're trying to treat him less like property. You've done the damage and now you need to suck it up. That's what you did, and now you're moving on not because you "matured and moved on" like the fandom keeps glorifying. You've moved on because you began realizing Blitzo can't be manipulated by you any longer, and like what the show has done, you've successfully guilt tripped Blitzo for protesting against something he finally had enough for.

No matter what you do, Viv, no matter what the fandom tries to loophole to their graves, I'm not sympathizing for this dude.

I don't think it's anything particularly deep, just a fetish thing. I don't even know if I'd go so far as to say a tumblr thing because I don't think she's had any spergouts about equality and none of her characters really get on any moral soapboxes. It's one of the reasons Viv is a relatively safe cow in the grand scheme of things, and one of the reasons she'll never get a lolcow of the year nomination. I imagine IRL she's probably pretty boring and tame and would just want to talk your ear off about cartoons/shipping/fanfic. I always assumed she was straight and that's why she seems more interested in making the gay boys kiss instead of the girls. After a quick google search, she apparently says she's bi, but I have a feeling it's bi in the sense of "I think girls are hot", but who knows, maybe there's some documentation out there of her actually dating girls.

A lot of fanfic/tumblr-style writers like Viv also treat being gay/bi/whatever else as a character trait, so it's probably just her way of trying to make her characters more interesting/quirky.
