Mrs. Mayberry's husband was cheating on her with Martha. She tried a double murder-suicide, but only succeeded with the latter. It makes no sense for them to end up together and is just pandering to fan service.
Wow, even fucking worse. She ended in hell only because of finding out her husband was cheating, no less? Seriously??? And sure, this hell can change people, but she didn't seem like a bad person. "Thou shall not kill" has an implication of "slaying", meaning murder. There's an implication of righteous killing and murder. But anyway, yes, she commited suicide and went to hell, I understand that. And there she... became a lover of her enemy. Give me a break.
Exactly. Also makes me question what happened to Martha’s husband and kids, since they’re nowhere to be seen. And there’s no way they got into Heaven, right?
Probably not: the wikia says they too are homicidal maniacs. Moxxie wanted them to give them a new chance at life by getting them arrested or something, but the police fire a missle at the house (WTF??). So this means they'll probably become imps.

So I found some storyboards on tumblr of all things for what season 1 could have been. And I feel so fucking robbed.
Actually getting to know the main characters? What looks like actual chemistry between Charlie and Vaggie? Proof that Pentious/Cherrie was yet more fanservice shit? Seriously, why couldn’t we have gotten this over the “Let’s go to war with heaven in the season one finale!” nonsense we got.
Pretty sure this was posted here way before, but it's always interesting to mention what we could have had. It does seem better paced than what we got, and just goes to show that the episode count wasn't the main cause for problems, since the original pitch appeared to have 9 episodes. "Adam" (the old-looking angel in the first episode pitch) seems to be more sympathetic and probably is essentially what we got with Sera, who sees the exterminations as a necessary evil. I wonder if will see any of these storylines for S2, since Baxter is supposed to show up.

Also, I kind of like there being comic issues running along the side of the show, as it helped give extra worldbuilding and more character deep dive. Like the Alastor and Angel Dust comics, which gave a good read on each character and what led them to be a part of the hotel in the first place. Too bad we won't be getting those, but I always did find it funny how we got comics on those two (arguably the most popular characters in the fandom) first before Charlie's, who's comic got canceled in the middle of its production. Woman-led show my ass, lmao.

PS: Glad we didn't get that EXs and Ohs issues though, since rumor has it that they put Seviathan's character into Chaz. If we do ever get Seviathan, kind of hope he is more of a himbo character that is still on relatively good terms with Charlie, because the old trope of "toxic ex still pining over main character" is...well, old.

Nah, imps are hellborn demons. They would’ve just become sinner demons too.

This video has been making the rounds. You can just make the argument that he is acting in character, but I can't help but wonder if he himself despises the way this show has been going. Yes, he's a writer on the show, but Viv is the one who is directing this. Plus he hasn't written any of the episodes so far in Season 2; only been credited for 'Story', which could mean a lot of things.

I feel like it does feel that way a little bit in how he has more self awareness in the writing compared to Adam and Viv.

Now I want to see videos of Blitzo and Stella as friends while using audio from other Brandon Roger videos.

Man, I don't care if it was for character or show—just let me believe Brandon's genuinely upset at the direction this show's been in for literal years. I feel even he's getting sick of all the Stolas defenders and maybe even at Vivziepop because more and more people by the day are straight-up tired of Vivzie's golden pet while Blitzo bites the bullet hard. The next episode's in a month and I don't even wanna imagine how they'll treat Blitzo there. Will he magically forget everything? Will Stolas even be present for that episode? I hope not—he's getting enough lousy fanservice.

Damn, I knew someone would beat me to it.
But yeah, at first I thought it was just him in character, too, considering this is the same guy who called a teenager a "cock blocking slut" because her existence was a little inconvenient to Stolas, but the way he delivers it, flips off the camera at the end, and uses entirely valid points Blitzo would NEVER be allowed to bring up in the show makes me think this is all coming from the heart.
I think he's just super sick of occasionally being called back to the show with his only real contributions to it anymore just being him relentlessly groveling to and fellating some self-pitying owl that he originally wrote to be a villain before Viv really liked a piece of fanart and did a 180 on the whole show for the guy, and this is him saying what he'd write Blitzo to ACTUALLY say to Stolas back in apology tour. I wouldn't be shocked if he's pretty annoyed with a bunch of fujos pestering him to pander toward a direction he never even wanted the show to go in.

Brandon is probably the sole reason I prefer Helluva, even with season 2's weepy bullshit.

I love so much about both shows, especially in theory, but they also just do so much wrong. When I learned it would have a lot of recent Broadway alumni, and I saw the character designs, I was interested. And now I'm just kinda...enjoying it, but can't praise it at all? I honestly feel similar towards the last two seasons of Stranger Things as well. These shows are entertaining. But they're lacking all the potential they once had.

Edit: @The Nothingness could you imagine how better it would've been if Stolas and Stella were villainous best friends forced into marriage, and they are hilarious assholes to everyone around them?

Glad to see everyone’s just as annoyed at Martha x Mayberry as I am.

Literally made no sense, was a reminder of how ruined the show had become, and raised more questions than answers. (Also, for me, it was very, very unfortunate timing due to a personal tragedy.)
i can only see it working if we get a short explaining they had a "death becomes her style rivalry" after Martha ended up in hell. Constantly trying to kill each other again but since they can't die again, only mutilate and hurt each other to no end since...well already dead and in hell and only holy weapons can permanently kill sinners into nothing, so hence the death becomes her comparison.

That eventually they grew tired of an mayberry decides "eh screw it! I'm dead, you're dead, I was a goody goody my whole like while you were both the town bike AND a lady leatherface when you were alive...wanna show me what I missed out on?"

Of course the ideal direction would be ohhh I don't know...have Mayberry be a candidate for Charlie's hotel. Mayberry litteraly complained about how one little blind rage massacre and suicide one she seemed deeply remorseful about by the way. Got her a one way ticket to hell and it pisses her off the folks in charge of deciding who gets in one place or the other, didn't have any sympathy for her suffering on earth and gave her more in death.

But hey why go in directions that make sense right? Or stick to the original premise of either show? And yes I know supposedly due to rights issues characters from hazbin can't appear on helluva and vice versa but given how vivzie can produce once show free on youtube the other for Amazon prime and be set in the same universe as each other? I doubt she's sold off all the creative freedom for her shows the way so many others before he did.

It could work to make Ms.Mayberry just hide her identity and change appearance so she can appear in Hazbin, get that courtroom episode, reveal that both families got to heaven except for the women and out of spite she chooses to remain in hell with that Lady Leatherface.

LoL is that true, that there's a fucking copyright issue??? What the fuck is this? That's as if The Walking Dead the Fear The Walking Dead couldn't do crossovers because the producers suddenly decided something retarded, or that Robert Kirkman somehow wanted a crossover, but he owns the rights just to The Walking Dead, but Fear is a AMC original, and they are against it. But unlike Vivinne, I don't think Kirkman would go "Damn man, I'd fucking LOVE a crossover!!!! Can you imagine CORAAAALLLL meeting people from the West Coast 'n shieeeet?". Except now Carl is dead since Season 08 and I'm still fucking pissed. Fuck Scott Gimple. I'm glad I never really watched the show seriously, but that made me stop accompanying the show altogether.

Seeing things like the brony phenomenon to other weird widespread autism to trendy shows makes me wonder how creative people about opening Pandora's box, to create something so popular it creates an autism singularity and has clickbait channels use your property to draw them in like vid related

There it is. There it fucking is. You see what I mean? Can you imagine something like this happening to a good fucking cartoon? Ed Edd 'n Eddy, Johnny Bravo, Dexter's Lab, Hey Arnold!? That would be fucking bullshit, you could perhaps insert some retarded plot and make it happen, but it is possible. But your channel wouldn't get sweet views. You wouldn't attract the "brainrotten" audience and the kids in general. Picture this: "SCP meets Hey Arnold!". Not a chance. Maybe a Gacha Life (or dare I say... Go! Animate) animation made by some autistic kid - which would make you chuckle, but not in a few years you'd get this. This is what I mean with Hazbin Hotel/Helluva Boss being a "lowbrow" animation - you get the worst aspects of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic & the absolute fucking DREADFUL aspects of Undertale, combine them together, and you get the "Hellaverse": An animation series (MLP) with fan concepts (both), and a fuckload of alternate universes (Undertale). I almost half expect to see a skeleton in hell to be a "tribute" to Sans next season. Maybe get Toby Fox to voice someone.

I mean it could always happen, its just that those shows are not in the modern internet era where fandom culture is as batshit crazy as it is.
