Y'all niggas do know this women was born literally right after the EL Salvador civil war. (Creator of Hazbin I mean)
She is Salvadoran.
This is coming from someone who has family from Cuba with a similar history to the Batista regime (and post revolution also but anyways)
but you get most Salvadorans are dirt poor and her moralefagging should probably fall on deaf ears if her family literally had ties to a CIA backed government with death squads and literally killed a major papal figure for wanting to end the civil war.
Almost no central americans or normal average mexican immigrant is fucking living in new england or grew their esp maryland.
You might wanna do some digging

I actually...really liked this one. Maybe I'm just wildly thankful to have more Millie and (almost) no Stolas.

I also loved the villain. It seems like the aquatic demons are going to be a part of the Envy ring, I agree. (Leviathan after all, and the idea of an 'infestor' demon, infesting envious desires and self hatred in its victims)

It also doesn't help that she is a woman, and as proven on this show, women in Helluva Boss are barely given any development and are side track by the men on the show. "Male-centric" isn't an excuse to forget your female characters, Viv.
It's kind of ironic considering how much shit and cancellation a male creator would get for treating his female characters like such trash.

So, just finished the recording, there was nothing regarding hating Octavia, maybe this was all said in part 1? Like there was maybe one moment that may raise an eyebrow, but overall it was a low key livestream with like 600+ viewers. Aside from a few parts that would have retard pearl clutchers gasping it was like the dictionary definition of uncontroversial.

If anyone wants notes I can post them, but this seems to be BS, unless someone wants to watch it to see if I missed anything.

One of the better episodes this season. I guess I was right that Brandon is the best writer of the three. I suppose when that storyboard of Millie about to commit suicide leaked out and hearing the response from the general public being negative on it, Viv decided to scrap it and change the direction of the episode. Wouldn't be surprised if she just told Brandon to rewrite the script himself.

Annoyed that we still had to have Stolitz drama in an episode that doesn't feature the bloody owl, but it was expected at this point. They just have to keep forcing it that Blitzø loves Stolas, even if the progression of such thing didn't naturally happen. But the other drama with Bliztø was okay. Liked the hallucination of Blitzø's mom (does she have a name yet) burning in front of him, and if he actually saw that in his real life it's no wonder he's fucked up like he is.

Nice to see more Millie spotlight. How her and Blitzø meet for the first time makes more sense than how Moxxie and Blitzø met in my opinion. And I like the way how she didn't think she could be much of anything from the start. Not because of insecurities or trauma; but because that's just how the way she saw her life. Imps are one of the lowest in Hell's hierarchy, so it makes sense why she thought she could be much more than just a farm girl or some goon. But seeing another imp run his own business really opened her eyes to more opportunities. Also, loved it when Ronaldo was taunting her with the whole "everyone is wrapped up in their own misery so you barely exist to them". It's even more funny because the show for the longest time was that.

Also, it was nice to see confirmation that Blitzø and Millie do see other as friends and have had fun times together on missions. Kind of wished we saw that before in other episodes instead of all in a one minute flashback, but it's something I suppose. Now that we got our somewhat better Millie episode, she can go back to being just Moxxie's wife....we all know that's what is going to happen here. Let's not kid ourselves.

I kinda want to see a story where SinnerAdam ends up adopting her and showing off his parenting chops to the point where she calls him Dad instead.
Stepdad Adam could honestly be very funny. His lax attitude and general irresponsibility combined with Stella's dogmatic uptightness is an excellent setup for a comedy duo. Throw the relatively reasonable Octavia in the middle and you have a recipe for perfection.

Not the worst episode in the season but I was only able to get halfway through before fast forwarding. The sex jokes were too much for me, it's probably the worst ratio of second per sex reference of all episodes I've seen so far.

The writers are still trying to have their cake and eat it too by having Blitzo be a massive cunt, but having everyone around him and the script enabling him and trying to paint him in a sympathetic light. He didn't pay his employee in a month, is watching porn in the office and is still stalking his employees according to the coupon, and Millie is still like "but you're not a burden to meee'".

It just felt overall like that one episode in Season 1 where they get caught by the DHORKS. Except Moxxie actually called him out and rightfully so. Millie barely serves any purpose and is completely undoing his character development, he is an even worse boss than he was in the previous season but she's coddling him. They still re-use the scene of characters calling him out in hallucinations to represent his "insecurities", because they can't have characters call him out for real.

Also, another random demon to add to the pile of Hellborns having access to the human world, remind me again why that Grimoire was such an important plot point in Season 1.

Damn, an episode came out and I didn't even realize it until 9 hours later. Holy fuck, we're still on the "Blitzo is sad about Stolas" arc huh? Even the characters in-universe are getting sick of this. The animation is actually really good this time so hats off on that.

I will say though that "Heaven and Hell exists but ghosts don't" is an interesting little lore tidbit.

I actually enjoyed it....
The Ghostfucker with the sex jokes bit kept going for too long, but the fight, hallucination and office stuff was pretty good and nicely animated.
Got a good amount millie, got some loona after an extended period of nothing.
So in the slide show there is some stuff, seems like blitz does hold someones eyeball in the hellfire and looks like his father prevented him from visiting fizz in the hospital

I think it's the demon class difference where imps are supposed to have nothing, remember Millie states that imps aren't supposed to own their own businesses.

But last episode we saw Verosika throw a party full of imps and hellhounds in the human world.

I just don't get why he didn't go for the far less risky option of stealing a succubus crystal, rather than his original plan of stealing the Grimoire of a higher powerful being. If his drug addicted pusher sister managed to get her hands on one, surely he could too.

He could have, but the fujos needed SOME way to get their gay drama started. No idea when concepts for the show got finalized, but it's also possible they just hadn't thought of the succubus crystals back when they made the pilot.

In-universe, Blitzo is a retard, plain and simple. I wouldn't be surprised if he never paid attention to things unless they are directly related to his interests. Explains why most people who dealt with him before have so little patience.

Out-of-universe, the writers didn't think that far ahead.
