Dam, now who's gonna leak the rest of the season?

The tweet doesn't make it clear which leaker got arrested; from what I know, the original hackers are from Russia, then the guy who's been begging for money in exchange for actually posting the leaks on Telegram is a filthy T*rk. Chances are, he's just been used as a patsy by the Russians.

Old but interesting: Roaming Trend, the weeb/furry YouTuber that did that excellent critique of Hazbin Hotel with his "7 Deadly Sins of Modern Writing" video had a video from last month that again looked at/critiqued HH, but this time in comparison to another indie animation project.

Also, I've seen an anon bring this up on /hhg/, but I feel it's worth mentioning how the leaks paint Alastor & Vox's rivalry in a new light – a conflict of hard work vs nepotism

To start with, let's look at the nepotism side, represented by the Radio Demon:
- the leaks show that Alastor's strength wasn't "earned", but rather, handed to him through a deal he made with Rosie
– this deal was for him to become the strongest Sinner in the Pride Ring, in exchange for an unspecified favor (which he failed to fulfill because he died like a bitch lol)
– naturally, when Al gets to Hell, he immediately starts running wild with his newfound power, like a kid playing around with cheat codes
– however, he eventually starts getting bested – Vox beating him led to Al's seven-year absence, and it only gets worse from there
– Alastor gets effortlessly felted by CHADam, and cucked out of most of his power, as it was contained in his broken staff (the fact Al had no precautions for this means he must have been taking his power for granted)
– the S2 leaks show that Rosie has him running errands for her, then Lucifer basically bullies Al out of the Hotel, only for the Radio Fraud to get caught by Vox once again
– also he's a black man (possible subtle commentary on diversity hires getting jobs they aren't qualified for?)

Meanwhile, the leader of the Vees represents the hard work side of the argument:
– had a similar occupation to Alastor, being a popular media personality that charmed millions across the nation and/or world
– presumably had no outside assistance when he got to Hell, and had to use his natural cunning & charisma to ascend to Overlord status
– has a bond with Valentino & Velvette that may or may not be genuine, in comparison to Alastor being an autistic wannabe "lone wolf"
– Vox' hard work is shown to pay off, as he bests the Radio Nepo-Baby not once, but twice
– also he's (presumably) a white man (continuing the "diversity hire" analogy, Vox is the employee that earns his position through merit and is actually qualified for it) plus the leaks show he breaks in the zesty Radio Buck

Based on this information, I can safely conclude that Vox is going to be the real hero of Season 2 (and so will Lute, but that part is obvious). Thank you for coming to my TED talk. Enjoy these memes:

It's hilarious how Alastor also instantly agrees to Rosie's deal without asking for any information on to what it may be. Even Charlie with her rash decision to make a deal with him added in the stipulation that she couldn't hurt anybody (Which I wish Charlie would take advantage of it to where she can just refuse Alastor trying to inevitably fuck her over by arguing it would emotionally hurt somebody she cares about, but Viv's writing isn't that smart), Rosie could easily have revealed after the deal was struck that what she had in mind would be him serving her faithfully forever and laughed at him until the summoning ritual ended.

Nah, they say how Husk is Russian, despite Keith David not even tryinh to give Husk even a faint Russian accent.
It's both. They said a lot of shit about what the characters were in those streams. It's why we shouldn't take any of it as fact unless it's in the actual show...even though they except you to have some knowledge before hand. You would have no idea that Sinners can only be killed by angelic weapons unless you've been following Hazbin Hotel during its inception.

Can you actually get arrested for leaking a show? Isn’t it a civil matter?
I think if the material was stolen, like from hacking, it could up the charges to a worse offense. Otherwise if it was from a inside source it would likely be a breach of contract and thus a civil matter. I believe the leaks were obtained via a hack, but, I wonder why target this of all things. Like, the hacker must have really really hated the show. This is all speculation of course, so take it with a grain of salt as I’m not a Lawyer.

Somebody should draw Stinkmeaner whipping Alastor to a pulp while repeatedly calling him NYUUUUUKAAAH. Or Alastor falling victim to a Nigga Moment.
Ed, Rummy, and Riley armed robbery on the office but the only survivor is Moxie so it's extra hilarious when Riley gets beaten up at the end of the episode.

Another anime shot. Since Katie Killjoy and Tom Trench are in this, I wonder if Nifty's song is going to be in the episode where Charlie goes to the News station (which Alastor's story is part of that episode too.) So that would mean we got the Alastor and Rosie duet, and the hyperactive Nifty song in that episode. Wonder what the third song will be about.

It's been almost a year, and I have not seen any of the people I follow shill this show. Not even known progs like EyePatchWolf. In fact, the most I ever see of this show is inside this very thread.
Yeah, bit of a powerlevel but I rub shoulders with a few discord fags who I think would be gaga for this shit and I don't hear a peep about it except for when I post a meme making fun of it.

This pisses me off to no end “hehehe ooooo I wanna do a crossover with two ip’s that I own, look at how subtly I’m teasing this”

just say there’s gonna be a crossover episode and be done with it, or better yet, FINISH THE FUCKING PLAYBILLS
Can someone explain to me the deal with those playbills?

Merch from the store that was SUPPOSED to come out right before the show, but didn't. Made even worse by the cringe "hotel staff" posts (read: role-playing as Charlie and Husk) addressing the situation. I'm surprised not more of a fuss has been made about it, as other content creators have gotten dragged through the mud for less. But I guess since Viv's a Woke Ally™, her misdeeds are just glossed over.

It keeps getting worse for Viz
I guess the Grammys have at least some dignity left after all.
