Oh it's on the Viv Thread, apparently they rejected her pledge for 5000$ (which gives the person the name as a producer iirc in the credits.) Tracy rejected, and requested her to recinde it but Tracy was forced to remove it and she asked for it to stay private but Viv cried crocadile tears to her hugbox and it became public, that was what inspired the fake ass tweets of "Support Indie Animators" and the same asshat talking shit about it. I wonder if there was any spies leaking it out to the public for these screenshots to be publicized in a otherwise private server (Her Pateron Server was leaked too, as with her calling someone a F Slur over their relative not liking Ke$ha, tbh I don't worship the ground she walks on like Viv does, because I am more of a P!nk and Lady Gaga Fan but whatever.)

Wouldn't it make more sense to have most characters just be irredeemably immoral? It could be Always Sunny in Philadelphia cranked up to 11. I think that may have been what they were originally going for, as in episode 2, Stolas was explaining to Stella that he didn't have time to go to a motel, which might imply that this sort of behavior was expected, but Stella's issue seems to be a matter of pride, comparing him to a plebian, calling him an embarrassment, and taking issue with an affair with a low-class imp.

I will always bring this up when people say that Stella and Stolas never loved each other (or at least on Stella's end). Stella says "I can't believe you slept with an imp, in our fucking bed". She didn't say my or his; she said our. Which means they slept together up to the affair (you can even argue afterwards since this is at least the second time that Blitzø and Stolas fucked). You can even see it in the flashback of when Octavia was a child, they were in the same bed. Why would a gay man and a woman who supposedly hate him share the same bed even after they produced a heir? It doesn't make any sense.

Gaslight the audience, to make it seem like they never loved eachother. That Octavia is just a moron (like how Viv views her audience) that they always hated eachother. Nevermind the fact that paintings show that they were happy, they share a bed (even though they live in a fucking mansion so theres probably hundreds of other places to sleep), dialog states things like "us" "we" "cheating prick" which shows pain/ anger/ and heartbreak. That Octavia states "now that my parents keep fighting" and "YOU ruined home". She much like every woman is a bitch or an asshole to our gays, no care no nuance.

She could have literally stolen fanfictions where they do it to keep appearances, that Stella could be a female who is robbed of her autonomy and purpose to only be a birthing machine for a higher power, or the culture of arranged marriages being a toxic relationship. Why have grays in hell when you can have just B/W. And all for what? A uninspired, lackluster, fetishistic, no chemistry fujo ship. If anything Stella his ex wife knows more about Stolas, than Stolas with Blitzo a partner he chose to be with. Only recently he found out Blitzo like horses. If someone where to ask what their partners favorite color is I don't think they'd be able to answer. I feel that Stella at least has basic knowledge of Stolas likes and habits. But what about this current relationship. What do they actually know about eachother?

But forget it, it's our bad for being invested in the plot of a show. Or character writing, we're the dumbasses for wanting decent world building, accountability, and character progression.

I honestly don't think Amazon nor A24 give that much of a crap. A24 just cares of pumping out whatever "avangarde" stuff they can get their hands on (sometimes it pans out, other times its eyerolling and pretentious dreck), while Amazon mostly cares about numbers. One COULD make the argument that Amazon stepped in during S1 and only gave the team 8 Episodes for a season, BUT since the show did prove to be a money in the bank, we still apparently getting 8 eps in S2 and doesn't seem like Viv even tried to fight for more episodes.

8 episodes is just the standard for streaming services these days across the board, look at any of their flagship shows and most of them will be 8 episodes, maybe 10 if they're lucky. You're dead on about A24 being extremely hands off in everything they touch, although Amazon just serves the role of the distributor and I'm pretty certain don't have that much of a say in things.

Yeah 8 episodes are the standard for streaming as almost every streaming platform has about 8 episodes, with some exceptions but they are few and far between.

I feel like Season 1 being mostly decent (or rather generic) comes down to Vivzie having to work within the limitations and having more writing staff compared to Helluva Boss which has only three writers (Vivzie, Adam, and Brandon).

Season 2 quality wise is unknown since Helluva Boss had a great first season, and look how its second season turned out when Vivzie and Brandon were all in on one of the worst ships out there while Adam was brought in as a writer.

Both of these were like solid comedy series ideas subverted into current year soap opera melodrama goyslop and it fucking hurts, ESPECIALLY with the boss show because that went one full "season" before going off the railsinto what both became.

I know at the end of S1 of HB I was still eagerly looking forward to S2 and then ended up watching almost none of S2 after an abysmal first few episodes.

It really sucks that after waiting literally years after the HH pilot that we got what we got. It's not immensely surprising (especially when you knew she basically sacked the entire team from the pilot), but it still sucks.
