I think that's because Joker is a multimedia character, so even if people were to take issue with that, there's a multitude of different adaptations of Joker who has other features, with the general conception of Joker being recognized by pop culture as something besides a rapist. I agree, it also makes some difference as there are multidimensional Joker so each Joker is from a different DC universe. And also has backstory and stuff before he became the Joker. Valentino is only known for being a rapist, hell every character is only known to be one thing they never talk about their previous lives or when they were living. Joker and Maleficent have motives, personalities and goals. Valentino only cares about AngelDust and making him suffer, and raping him he has no other purpose than being his orbiter.

I agree on that as well the offical art body pillow even looks like a joke. For people that seen the "Terrifier" series they could of used a refrences from that times Art was actually naked, when he was wearing a women's tits, pussy, and scalp to look like a woman. Yeah, I don't really know much about the Joker outside from BTAS, so my apologies. But as was said, there are so many different interpretations of the Joker from different media. And the Joker has so much going for him unlike Valentino. You see the Joker, you immediately think "Clown Villain who is on the opposite side of the coin to Batman". With Valentino, you're going to think "pimp who abuses Angel Dust".

And again, you're not getting sexualized merch of the Joker (at least from what I know). With Val, it's always sexualized. If it was just normal picture of him I don't think that many people would be getting riled up. But he's wearing provocative clothes and posed in a way to be viewed as "sexy and desirable" to the viewer. It would be like if the team behind the game Mouthwashing decided to sell a pin-up of Jimmy.

I totally agree with that. I think I posted this before, but it would be different if they made other merch of these characters besides "sexy", "lewd", "uwu", "hot" shit. But they don't EVERYONE gets sexualized (besides Octavia but they barely make merch of her because she hates her and she can't market her enough) like again why not make merch of them being other things. Like Stolas just doing Star shit (without Blitz), him in his full demon form, him being summoned by his followers, family photos (that are only on the Patreon for some reason), him with his father, or fuck WHERES THE GUYS MOM some nameless/faceless/nobody Stolas can't even be bothered to talk about.

You make a good point, they have the capacity to use the merch as a way to expand more on the characters and the world but for what I have seen is always the same type of pins/playmats/standees/logos/trading cards/etc. with the character just doing a cool pose or dressed up for the occasion or the worst offender of all Stoliz crap.

Goddammit Viv, since you have pretty much given up on continuing with the original plot the least you could do would be to get some fan artist to produce comics of the trio on a mission from time to time.

I honestly knew Katie had a point when she said Charlie has no knowledge of how someone can be redeemed. I'd prefer that she went to ask heaven first because she has permission, being the Devil's naive, innocent daughter who has only harmed bad people as of now then she gets criteria that the rehabilitated sinners would need to show the Seven Heavenly Virtues to enter and sustain those. I'm so glad they started with Sir Pentious because he was just a tryhard and was the easiest to redeem. I just don't like how they killed him off. A fan comic by Jigokuhana that was dubbed by ParanoidDJ explores the concept of showing the sinners' human designs. A commenter on the video said that maybe if a sinner is genuinely redeeming himself and is gradually getting ready to go to heaven as a changed person, his human form slowly shows itself in brief flashes. I honestly loved that comic. It was so tender, sweet, and soft in its own way.

For my concept. All sinners are in the form of animals and monsters because sin has been described as a lurking, hunting beast in the Bible (story of Cain and Abel in Genesis when Cain was warned by God because he was angry at his brother). Everyone in heaven is in a human form (Man is made in the image of God). Throughout the ages, NO ONE has ever showed a glimpse of his human form in hell because they were always in an environment where they'd have to be animals, terrible people. Charlie has made an environment where they can be good and go to heaven in the form of a human spirit. Simple!


How can that apply to Pentious? Since he's a pussy tryhard, he ends up acting villainous, right? Turns out, he's actually just a doofus among the sinners, so he's easiest to redeem. As Pentious shows change, he starts to show his human form and starts a cute relationship with Cherri. Part of being a tryhard is being scared of a real challenge with real risks. So, he finally grows some balls by being empowered by warm feelings for his happy place which is the Hotel, actually puts up a fight that is shown on screen during the extermination, and eventually dies IN THE AFRERMATH, but is finally redeemed with a human form which the main cast and ALL THE OTHER SINNERS SEE as he ascends to the light. People are inspired and now willing to go to the Hotel to give it a try. This is where Angel's arc enters - VALENTINO COMES LATER.


How can Angel help with more clients because we're trying to insert as many characters as possible within the time crunch? He starts talking to them, interacting, healing through the process, socializing, and even cooks for them (he's a good cook, remember?) In some rehabs and prisons, to set people straight, they assign tasks such as "ok you clean the session area and you over there go cook or buy food blah blah." Remember Grodon Ramsay teaching convicts (hopefully those with relatively minor crimes and willing to change) to cook and bake so they get a job? Some people have found professions and businesses through that. Angel could change through that.

I would have assumes this is as sexy as those guys can get to be able to successfully market their merch. Perhaps a furry or someone who gets easily aroused by cartoon characters would find a red-skinned Invader Zim-looking creature hot enough if you wrap it in ribbons or apply some shading on its body to accentuate its humanoid anatomy.
