I'd want to say something about Uncle Ruckus, but he'd probably be subservient to Vox or Adam while beating Alastor up with the white man's greatest invention, the belt!
Nah, Ruckus would take over for Adam as head of the exterminators and solely focus on the black sinners. He'd even redesign the exterminator outfits to have hoods.

Maybe this is why the hotel got a fairly significant redesign and was blown up at the end of the season.
Well the actual show's hotel design is a bit different from the pilot's design.

Show Hotel

You know, you think in the actual show Charlie would slip up and call the hotel "Happy Hotel". Since Alastor was the one that magically changed the name of the place to "Hazbin". It just seems kind of out-of-character for her to stick with such a name because she's supposed to be the positive one.

I just realized why it was most likely redesigned, it's so the front entrance looks like a theatre's now.
Because the VA's are mainly Broadway actors now! Bravo Viv!

Could have been a decent running gag for the sign to be constantly changed back and fourth by Charlie and Alastor.

That's something that is also missing in the show; these two interacting with one another. They talk to each other like at most twice before the episode where Alastor brags to Lucifer about how close he has gotten with Charlie. And even then, they don't have a full-on conversation with each other until episode seven when Alastor makes a deal with her.

Imagine Vivzie did this on purpose to avoid shipping

I'm surprised that Alastor barely has any effect on S1's plot, the only thing he directly does that has an effect is the deal with Charlie and taking her to go see Rosie to get some cannon fodder for the battle. The closest thing he does before that is helping make a commercial for a B plot that goes nowhere and him being at the hotel causing Vox to send Pentious to spy on them.

Probably?

I remember hearing that she hated the charliexalastor pairing but i'm not sure how true that is. Which is funny because i feel like everytime someone tries to sink a ship it's only gonna make more people ship it more.
Like good job Viv with trying to make alastor 'a dad' that's only gonna attract more ppl to the ship

Y’all know damn well, Uncle Ruckus would be Hell.

Don't forget that he barely even contributes to the final battle:
>kills some Exorcist fodder while hiding behind his shadow shield (what a pussy lol)
>said shield gets instantly shattered the moment Adam gets bored of waiting around
>Bambi spends most of the following fight dodging & stalling by summoning his imp minions (Charlie got her ass stomped too, but she at least drew first blood)
>gets immediately oneshot once CHADam gets serious
>runs like a bitch to have a hissy melty in his cuck corner and only comes back when all the fighting's done

Its impressive how Viv managed to destroy a character so quickly, an then how quickly she goes into his backstory in S2.

Funny thing is I don't mind these events playing out, Alastor being the most powerful Sinner basically means he's just the biggest fish the pond and once he gets roped in with Charlie he finds himself in the ocean, facing people not only more powerful than him but also eons older so they can see right through his manipulation tactics and turn the tables. Part of his arc being him realizing he's not as powerful as he thinks and having a breakdown over it is fine, but of course he's only shown killing some Exorcist fodder and some random lowly Sinners who are trying to get to Mimzy. Combined with the leaks where Vox manages to kick his ass and restrain him by merely tying him to a chair, probably because he's absolutely nothing without his now busted microphone, he becomes Fraudlastor.

We haven't seen the last of his backstory, mark my words that Viv will find some way to destroy his character even further, almost certainly by giving him a sob story through adding yet another character with daddy issues which will completely excuse him being a cannibalistic serial killer.

Personally could disagree only because so far Vivzie gives sad backstories to characters who are in ships or are pathetic to begin with.

Like if she didn't already ship Lucifer with Lilith (who were married anyway in this show but whatever), she'd probably give him one just to be with Lucy.

Though I could be proven wrong, its just so far Alastor is just an evil tumblr sexyman who has probably attacked two of the main characters.

However, I can be proven wrong because of....

You see that'll be rad if they keep going with that. Have Charlie snap on him one day because she's sick of him acting like anything more than a slightly bigger than average fish.

I will allow myself to hope that Alastor's days of being untouchable are at an end and his performance against Adam was merely the first salvo and not an in-universe out of character moment.
