Pilot Charlie being superior once again.

It's still red but not reddish enough to be blend in with the other characters, also shows that despite living in hell, she's not as evil as the rest of the cast.

I'm not an graphic designer, and yet I somehow know this shit.

I’ve been wanting to say this for a while, it is unbelievable how they fumbled Charlie’s design for the series when they already had this one that was good, if not great. The character is cute, the colors are pleasing. If I was forced to see more of this, I would want to look at it (General rule for characters I have: If you have to look at it for 2+ hours, make sure its nice to look at.) but for some reason they updated it a bright red that honestly is hard to look at, not just because of blending in with other characters, but because it starts to hurt the eyes after a couple of minutes. I don’t know who suggested the change, but just put them side by side and it should have been obvious which was better.

Even the revamped design for the ADDICT music video is better than what we got in the actual show itself.

What compels you people to keep watching this? Every time I check this thread it's like watching people stab themselves with forks and complain about how sharp it is. Is there something that makes it worth it?

One my professors taught us this: if you want to make good media you can't just engage with the good shit; you also have to take the bad shit as well. And you also have to figure what makes something good and what makes something bad. That way you know what to do to make a good product, and what easy mistakes are made that you should avoid.

Simple. The word "retarded" was used in the pilot and people got upset over that. So now they have to make sure they don't go over the line of being too offensive in their show set in fucking Hell. That's why Blitzø almost called someone a retard in season 2 but stopped himself and instead said "really can't say that anymore". It's a reference to the backlash that they received from using the word in the pilot. They do want to say the word, but know they can't; otherwise Viv will get canceled.

Again, another simple answer. It's because Blitzø will get called out for being an awful person, while Stolas never does. And there's also the fact that Blitzø gets shit on for...rejecting Stolas. That was the point for the entire episode of Apology Tour. Not for Blitzø to learn how he should treats others better; but for him to learn how to treat Stolas better. The guy that basically treated him pretty much like a sex toy for the majority of their time together.

It's because the show is more aware of Blitzo being an asshole while Stolas is never called out for any of his shitty actions yet the show wants to treat him as this pure misunderstood guy. When anyone has a problem with him, it's always their fault whether it be Blitzo or Octavia despite the fact that Stolas is the one in the wrong.

Eh not really, there's more self awareness Angel is a douchebag and he's actually more of a victim to Valentino who has more power than him.

Stolas could easily kick Stella's ass and has more power than her, yet lets her beat him up either for the sake of presenting him as a victim or vulnerability.

If anything, Stolas is like if Valentino was intentionally made to be a sympathetic character

We don't even know how much Stella has apparently "abused" Stolas during their marriage. All we got of their marraige is the day the affair happened that night, and some family photos. Oh and them sleeping together in the same bed. It's really hard to get the full picture. The show says that Stella has just been a complete nightmare to live with all this time, but at the same time will show photographs of the family having a genuine happy moment.

And this ain't a forced smile from Stella. She looks happy; they all look happy in fact. And I doubt Stella is pretending here because the show really wants to hammer in how stupid she is. Stella is not one to hide her true feelings; she's very open about how she feels at the moment. And Octavia doesn't hold any ill-will to her for her supposed perfect family life falling apart. She blames Stolas solely. And I doubt Stella was manipulating Octavia that entire time to be on her side because it shows that Stella doesn't plan things that far ahead for her advantage.

Now I'm sure in season 3 we'll see Stella being a terrible person to Stolas in the past, and softly retcon any sort of nuance about her; but as it is now, the worst thing that Stella did to Stolas before he cheated on her was throw a "not-divorced" party and make some rude comments to her friends about how terrible Stolas is at sex while most likely drunk. The retcons with Stella's and Stolas' marriage would be tolerable if it simply boiled down to them being fundamentally incompatible people, and how arranged marriages almost always end in disaster. Since Helluva does touch on themes of Hell's society being fundamentally broken, a rewritten storyline could actually help reinforce this theme by making even members of the upper class miserable because of it instead of just Stolas being sad since Stella is just an evil bitch.

Unfortunately in Viv's fujo infested writting, only Stolas can be a victim, that and the fact Viv hates women.

I'd say she's more "(successful) Andrew Dobson", especially going by aspects like her reactions to critique, how her shows are cobbled together from years old ideas (that said you could argue that's not really exclusive to either but still...) etc.
