They have jails, since that's where Blitz met Moxxie.Considering people pay taxes in HB, what is the money even spent on? Does hell have social services? A standing army? Government funded orgies?

Forgot about that. They didn't age much after that, so judges must give out pretty lenient sentences in hell. They have jails, since that's where Blitz met Moxxie.
They must have government healthcare given how long it took Blitzo to book Loona's appointment hey yo!Considering people pay taxes in HB, what is the money even spent on? Does hell have social services? A standing army? Government funded orgies?
Well, when you get out of jail, you're still in Hell.Forgot about that. They didn't age much after that, so judges must give out pretty lenient sentences in hell.
The real question we should be asking is why did Blitzø go all the way to Greed to get coffee? Is there just not a single coffee shop in all of Pride? There's a lot of plot convenience in this show. The part at the start where Blitz and Fizz just happened to be on the same street as Striker just happened to be nearby was the moment I said, "How do these characters keep falling over each other like this? How big is Hell?"
What would have worked if over the course of S1 and 2 you were maybe given various hints of what transpired between Izzi, Barbie and Blitzo. Snippets of dialogue, maybe a quick nightmare or flashback moment. Then when finally having the interraction betweem Fizz and Blitz, you kinda have half or the whole puzzle assembled. The real question we should be asking is why did Blitzø go all the way to Greed to get coffee? Is there just not a single coffee shop in all of Pride?
Anyway, I know that a lot of people (even the ones who hate the show) like this particular episode but as for me, I think it's shit. A lot of thing happen and move forward because of coincidences, Fizz and Asmodeus got ruined as characters, Striker got even more ruined as a character, the big accident wasn't even really caused by Blitzø, Barbie Wire got removed from a scene because woman, the whole reason being why Fizz and Blitz never talked to each was not of their choice but because some unknown party to each of them, crappy showdown between the protagonists and antagonists, Blitzø completely fixing his relationship with Fizz too quickly (also sex joke during a serious moment because "haha sex funny lol", and the relationship of Asmodeus and Fizzaroli having a problem that is never addressed in future episodes. Also this is the beginning of Stolas getting the stupid asmodeun crystal and Blitzø, starting that whole mess of a plot.
So all around a complete shitshow that relies too much on conveniences.
Maybe they take whatever money is buried with them when they die? Like the custom of putting coins on the deceased's eyes to pay Charon the boatman to ferry them to the afterlife? They must have government healthcare given how long it took Blitzo to book Loona's appointment hey yo!
This another part of the worldbuilding that puzzles me. Do sinners arrive in Hell and are given money collected from the native-born demons or do they have to steal, gamble, or sell their bodies to get money?
It would be, but this is post-S1 HB we're talking about.Maybe the scene was meant to be darkly comedic in some way, which is funny I'll admit
