I know the Angels' weapons that're left behind get sold onto black markets so it wouldn't be that far of a stretch for demons forcing other demons out during the cleansing.
Lord knows some people on here alone would use that advantage.

Unless we get a look at whatever is Heaven in the HH perviverse we have no real idea what the gamut of sexual preferences is, or for that matter whether Heaven is even a place anyone would want to be. It doesn't seem anyone is actually in Hell just for being queer though.

And considering when Alastor was introduced, Vaggie mentions how he single-handedly took down multiple demons that were around for centuries as well as broadcast his deeds. It's not hard to assume demons that just enter are first in cleansing if not careful.

Well this I genuinely did not see coming. Wonder if non-binary/genderqueer squeaks by or if it also gets lumped in with trans.
Calling it now, they’ll go the JK Rowling route and call her queen of the TERFs.
Course even if she did have trans people on the show, they’d still call her a TERF. Probably best she didn’t play this game.
Even stranger is that she’s super supportive of trans people on social media.
Maybe she thought she wasn’t equipped to tackle a subject like that in her cartoons. Given that trans issues are a complete minefield to navigate, it’d be easy to see why.

With Viv being cis and Tranny Discourse being the Tumblr/Twitter-tier radioactive wasteland it is, it’s safe to say her only winning move is not to play, especially considering the fact that cisgender people are generally discouraged to participate in and debate trans issues.

I like Hazbin Hotel/Helluva Boss a lot but man that Zoophobia short was hard to watch. The only good thing about it was the animation and even then it still wasn’t as good as what we got from the Helluva Boss pilot.

Blitz, based on his instagram, seems like the type who has a shitty family and is so desperate for true family bonds that he projects that neediness on his co-workers, his fuckbuddy and his adopted daughter. Being obsessed with one who got away sounds stupid. Messing with the one who gets riled up easy sounds more like Blitz.
Vivzie is performing a social balancing act I think. She has enough sense not to completely indulge in the things degenerates do but not enough to know when people need the political opinions of a fucking animator (spoiler alert: unless they're running for office, it's never). She's also a fucking chatterbox narc. Case in both points:
Enough sense to keep the troons off but not enough to tone the gay down. Bold strategy Vivzie.
That was pretty bad. The colors are pointlessly busy eyesores (just like Hazbin) and the story while simple in premise still came off as all over the place (just like Helluva). Haven't read the webcomic but I think I see who inspired who later in Vivzie's life (snake tail guy acts like Angel Dust, kangaroo girl acts like Millie, red fox guy acts like Charlie and pissy catgirl acts like Loona).

I wanted to like the short, and there are some decent animation tricks and some cute stuff in there but this entire team has the worst taste in character design and world construction.
Like the cutesy furry design with fluffy-tails-bigger-than-the-characters is okay, its fine, its cute, but then you drop in some neon skinned dragon-insect-snake-tail guy into the middle of that? And how do the rules work regarding clothing and design? Most of them follow the shirt-but-no-pants-furry rule like old cartoons, but some are just plain naked and the insect guy looks like he's wearing a latex body suit (complete with bulge). It's a mishmash of style and choice that becomes increasingly obvious the more characters are on screen.
The characters also look very flat when viewed in anything other than profile, and having your dog character come off as Chewbacca when he faces the camera is not a good look. Not to mention the scene to scene variations in the scale and body - the scale is pretty okay, but a lot of the proportions of limb length and thickness keep changing from scene to scene and the inconsistency is driving my crazy. I shouldn't see a character's limb and profile change like that, it's off-putting.
The lack of consistency is present in every aspect of this, and I just can't stand it. This is the chief problem with the short, and HH - lack of coherent design. Shows with highly varied character design like Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends can still remain stylistically coherent with the right effort and talent, but it's clear that this team doesn't have the same chops as McCracken.

What can I say that hasn’t been said already? It’s the weakest of three shows, with Zoophobia having all the flaws of the other two shows and no strengths to back it up. For example, while HH is a mish-mash, there’s at least a couple of designs that look cool and fit with the setting. The main characters in Zoophobia just look like rejected Neopets and don’t mesh well at all.
From a practical stand point, it’s at least not a long term thing and seems to be a way to keep her brand alive during down times. It’s at least got me excited for more Helluva Boss, at least as a palette cleanser.
