It was literally a coincidence that it was on her Birthday but not a coincidence that it was on the anniversary. She also previously said any ship is fine but has proceeded to suggest that not any shipping is fine. It's hard being all inclusive when your such a control freak and people aren't playing with your toys the way you want them too.I actually can somewhat understand Viv in this birthday situation. Remember that a really high number of shippers are obnoxious re-tarded muppets and leeches. Charlastor shippers are one of the most fucknut parts of the Hazbin fandom, with some outright preaching and nagging for that ship to be a thing (yeah and fuck that Charlie already has a girlfriend and that Alastor is a deranged psychopath). Plus something tells me that it's not a coincidence that their Charlastor Day happened at the same day as her birthday and anniversary.
Not defending her ignorant ego-boasting or saying that all shippers are bad (no matter how stupid the ship itself may be), but if I wanted to enjoy celebrating my birthday and the anniversay of the show I worked hard on, then saw a sudden wave of shipping art raining on me at suspiciously same time, I would have been bitter too at best, since of course it would seem like some parasites want to hijack attention to their sacred dumb fucking ship.
Though in a way it is broad's own fault for occasionally blowing that bubble. If you feed the geese, don't come crying when you get your hand bitten off along with the elbow.
Oh, don't get me wrong, I agree that Hazbin and Helluva have some good prospects, and that amount of hard work Vivzie put in her projects deserves respect, despite all the visible flaws. It sure is something, all right. I used Rowling and Hartman as an examples of content creators who are known for making something famous and eventually falling from their grace by being utter shites in one way or another.
What I was trying to say is that in general, success is still a pretty luck-based thing, because of certain factors.
Also the only way it would bother someone to see ship art is if they did not like the ship. She seems to be fine selling Charlie and Alastor merch mysteriously packaged together. Makes it seem like she puts on a smile to sell merch but really just wants people to support her canon and any "threat" to that she considers rude.
If anything the picture of her sitting on her computer all day on her Birthday scrolling through twitter seething over some dumb ship art is hilarious.
