Will it be a monster of the week type show where Charlie helps various demons help get over their sins, like drinking or gambling or anger in each episode? Or one that has "lore" and a really convoluted story to follow through. Because to me, this show sounds an awful lot like Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends, but set in hell.

Its going to be on a streaming service 100%, so no way in hell will it be episodic.

I'm hoping for a combo of the two really. The background lore of this is actually really interesting to me.

Nobody wants to be in Detroit, not even the people actually living there.

Im sure im not alone on this but ine thing I'm wondering is who is the devil and who is God? The devil is Charlie's father right? Hazbin/helluva boss doesn't take place in the same universe as zoophobia because that wouldn't make since atleast i don't think it would.
I looked it up and apperntly a le redditor noticed that the Satan looked similar.

As far as we can tell so far from the Hazbin pilot, Lucifer is the father of Charlie, and Lilith her mother. Here's a picture of the "happy" family for context:

Lucifer is effectively the ruler of all Hell in the show, and is powerful enough in his influence across the realm that people will say explicitly say "thank Lucifer" in the same way we say "thank God." While it has been made clear by Viv that Hazbin and Helluva are an entirely distinct universe from ZooPhobia, there were apparently some characters, in both name and design, who were originally in the latter work, but were then retooled and made distinct in this new pair of works.

Of course hes married to Lilith. I wonder if there'll be an episode revolving around him getting cucked by her again and again....I'm not being mati btw, Lilith and all ya know? Adam's second wife, mother of the succubi and all that. So it'd come with the territory.

Already been confirmed Lilith isn't like that. She and Lucifer apparently have a very loving relationship and Viv likened them to Gomez and Morticia Addams.

Awww shit I know it's not my place to run her show but I was kinda hoping it would be like that, shows just how fucked up everything down there is even for someone with high rank like Charlie.

Plus I thought it over and I kinda see the joke she's going for. You'd expect the devil married to Lilith ya know the biggest traitor in the bible and the mother of the creatures who embody lust to be full of drama and constantly backstabbing each other. But... No they don't they have ironically the healthiest relationship in all of hell.

Can confirm. Been to Detroit plenty of times, and each time I couldn't wait to leave. Place is an utter shithole.
