Helldivers 2 - Hell is more diverse than ever as PlayStation's demographics continue to grow and change.

Plz enlighten us, how does one farm SC?
Set your difficulty to Trivial(1) and go to a mission that has as little water as possible.
You can get up to 12 points of interest, each of these can be a storage container or pod with medals and/or super credits, they can also be one of those bunkers that requires two people to open.
Typically get 30 super credits and 10 medals, takes 5 or so minutes solo, 3 with two people going opposite directions.
When you loot them all just abandon, you keep the medals/credits/requisition but not samples and no XP.

Bunkers can have a lot, once got 100 super credits from a single pile.

Very few people I've played with realised you can actually drop samples, and that it's a great idea if you have a lot of them (ESPECIALLY if you have super rare samples) to just drop them by the extraction point before continuing the mission. They will still be there when you leave.
I was actually talking about dropping them when you die and for some reason niggers ignore them, then they summon me again miles away. It always fucking happens when some asshole does some retarded eagle bombardment.
I swear, I think my deaths are like 40-50% from friendly fire.

Anyone else doing the super credits farm before it gets patched? Me and some friends have been going at it the last couple days. Made 3k so far and bought the premium pass.
I'm farming stuff normally and what I really want isn't available with SC, but rather medals and samples.
You do you, but I feel dirty using cheap tricks from jewtubers.

Jewtubers were late on this, it's been known about for over a week but only did it occasionally as it's very boring. Videos started coming out today like with the "farm the robot elimination for medals" shit.
I don't feel very bad doing it when they're releasing a second premium warbond a month after release.

How does the water affect the exploit?

@Hiphopopotamus I tried doing what you said with a friend and I only got 30 supercredits after scouting the whole map. Is there anything I can do to hasten the farming?

I chose the red desert bug planet because it naturally has the least water.

When you're running around you can see ? on the compass which will be points of interest, most buildings/little farms will also be points and normally have a container you can blow open, and you can see little blinking beams of light for the pods of course, I recommend only doing it while you have nothing to do or are just watching a long video or something.
It mostly just takes getting used to what to look for.

There's another way you can go and that's to alt f4 the game while on the map instead of abandoning, when you reload into the game it should keep you on that exact map with the exact POI layout, but I never really did this.

More than anything, I'm surprised the OG Railgun and Breaker made it through playtesting. Like, how did Durka Durksson and the Cuck Crew not fucking realize that they'd made weapons that blew every other option out of the water? Also, we could have done without all the performative hand wringing about power fantasies, fam. Just say you overtuned the stuff and the responsible parties are getting a double shift on the Goatse Machine. It's cool, we'd understand.
Did some runs with my co-op buddy tonight, and we're both liking the tighter AoE on the 120/380 Orbitals. We only had one instance of getting blown up by them over something like 3 hours of play - pretty nice!

Yeah the 380 with the bonus salvo ship upgrade is absolutely nuts, about 35 seconds of uptime and actually took out a bile titan with a direct hit

I mean conceptually those guns are just objectively better than all of your other options, so the patch didn't do much . Especially the breaker because primary weapons in this game are ASS. I guess the railgun requires some skill now, but that's only true if you are braindead.

Have you tried pairing it with the big bubble shield?

Some youtuber made a video about it so I assume they will do something to change it soon.
Is this also good for grinding medals for the warbond? I want to snag the slugger but I hate the amount of missions I have to run through for it.

Youre much better off running higher difficulty missions than trying to farm medals via pickups. Bite the bullet and quickplay, most randos aren't completely dogshit at the game

I spend more time looking for videos that don't have these dickfingers' faces plastered all over them or lack clickbait titles with random WORDS capitalized for EMPHASIS like a GODDAMNED RETARD!!!
it's necessary for the almighty algorithm, same as the soy-faces in the thumbnails.

After unlocking the Slugger and taking it through a few paces, I'm starting to wonder if there's just something about the shotguns in this game. Those two handle so well that I can just pick them up and go without too much hassle. The problem remains finding a good option to crack heavy armor - I'm not a good enough shot to really make the Railgun sing.
The patch notes admitting your primary isn't supposed to be your be-all, end-all weapon explains quite a bit, too. I do wish that shit had been spelled out earlier, but hey, it's in the open now.

I haven't used the static shield gen yet, myself. I've always figured that the best way to stay safe from the Orbital Barrages is to be two map quadrants away from the splash zone.
I need to remember to give the shield gen a go on the next bot Geological Survey - those have been some of the most persistent pains in the ass with enemy spawns near the objective.

Is there anywhere I can shoot those fucking pod walkers from the front with a primary to damage them?

My stats are broken, everything is zero except enemies killed and missions played/won *sigh*

Also the laser cannon is fantastic against bots. You can delete Hulks by beaming them in the head for 2-3 seconds. I wonder if the laser can disintegrate missiles mid-air? I never actually tried it, it would be super cool if you could.

Not to be rude but do you have a job lol? I can't imagine playing trivial for multiple days to get what amounts to 30$.
