Helldivers 2 - Hell is more diverse than ever as PlayStation's demographics continue to grow and change.

Any one try out the new weapons yet?
The plasma shotgun gets very little distance before falling off so you'll be aiming up at medium range, you can arc it over walls and shit I'm sure, not feeling it myself, the explosion also doesn't open containers or destroy fences like the slugger can.
The las sickle feels better than the scythe but that isn't hard to do, still just a laser but it's an "assault rifle" and the heatsink lasts about 7 seconds holding the trigger.

Saving for the arc shotgun now, I'm just bummed we didn't get that explosive crossbow.

Just got it today. Change of camera from top-down to third person is a welcome change. Tomorrow gonna play with friends

Does anyone else think the devs stealth buffed bots aim with missiles? Those fuckers were sniping the fuck out of me and my team last night on just difficulty 6. Peaking around cover resulted in more than a few deaths for me.

Malevelon's been up since day 1 and thus, that place has rightfully earned it's place as the Happy Fun Planet Full of Joy and Pleasure.
I find it weird as hell people are playing the campy Starship Troopers game yet every time that sector pops up the player base goes out of its way to avoid playing the Starship Troopers planet.

Got the arc shotgun, like the arc thrower it's better for bugs than robots. It has infinite ammo but requires a short recharge after every shot, you can move while this happens and you don't have to charge before shooting, there's no penetration obviously because it's lightning and it doesn't seem to chain and instead throws out a few different arcs per shot that can hit multiple enemies.

Overall pretty good I'd say, nice alternative primary for bug fights that let's you keep a rocket on your back.

Has anyone tried the new booster? The one that "increases time between encounters" or however they word it?

These TCS missions are forcing me to take a break from the game at least until I can play them with my friends.
Playing these with randoms on 6/7 is a complete nightmare with everyone bringing regular mortars and dropping the half-ton at the base of the silo on cooldown.
I just don't understand how you can be so oblivious. I'll get a party of 3 level 50s and we won't be able to complete more than 1 silo in 30 minutes.

As for the anti-material rifle, I'm not a fan. It's dogshit against bugs
Is it really? I've only gone up to challenging so far but it seems to keep up with most of them pretty well. Do the hordes of armored enemies just get that massive at higher difficulties?

You don't have to take my word for it. Simply progress through the game normally and you'll see for yourself. Who knows, maybe you can make it work.

I'd expect the bots to slowly evolve and change tactics over the course of the war, wars are usually a technological arms race after all.

They kind of always been like that but they rapidly loose the ability the aim once you start shooting at them.
