Helldivers 2 - Hell is more diverse than ever as PlayStation's demographics continue to grow and change.

I've had issues with not being able to join games until I turn off crossplay. I'm on PS5 though.

>Playin with the boys, running for our lives from a bug swarm
>My boy declares his intention to make a last stand by a hell bomb before shooting it to let us escape
>'No man, that's not the helldivers way. I'm coming to you'
>I shoot the hellbomb

I should get a medal for upholding Super Earth's traditions. Don't let your fellow helldivers fall to the enemy when they can fall to the comically largest friendly fire you can muster.

Edit: So 110mm Rockets. Anyone found a use? Best I've done is strip some armor from a charger with it.

The rockets are great for busting tanks, turrets, titans, devastators, hulks, bile spewers (both types), bot factories, and walkers. It auto aims for the largest target within the area around the call in. Good for avoiding friendly fire most of the time compared to the cluster bomb.

Does anyone else think that the 120mm HE Orbital is awful. It's wind up time and dogshit accuracy make it so worthless. Also, I loathe mortar sentries with a passion, I genuinely believe their priority targets are helldivers first, bugs and robots second.
It’s probably my least favorite orbital. At least the 380mm has sheer spectacle on its side and is reasonably good at locking down the bigger bot bases.

Also, for the love of god bring at least one of the shield strategems to bot missions. Makes everyone’s life so much easier.

Does anyone else think the devs stealth buffed bots aim with missiles? Those fuckers were sniping the fuck out of me and my team last night on just difficulty 6. Peaking around cover resulted in more than a few deaths for me.
Like the other poster said, and there's even a tip for this, the Automatons have a "corrective aiming system" or some other nonsense the training manual calls it. All it really means is they can be affected by suppressive fire. This is hard to do if there's a ton of rocketeers and you're stuck in cover but if you have a grenade try that, it might make them move or aim differently since it's an enemy projectile.

I would really like to use the Recoilless more, but fucking hell there is no stopping its infinite hunger for ammo. It should get twice as much ammo when picking up a box or a supply. Right now it's just dumb.

I like to bring Recoilless on bot missions.
Destroying a bot drop ship in the air always makes me cream my pants. It's just so satisfying.

just nail it with the disposable launcher. Soon as you see the flare , throw out the pokéball

I would like to see a trophy system implemented as a stratagem (i.e. a device to intercept grenades and rockets). It would be a boon for fighting bots, but admittedly useless for bugs.

120mm is excellent at clearing out bug nests and bot factories. 380mm is too inaccurate, 120mm is more contained and clears out the area more efficiently; the 120mm is just the 380mm but actually effective. Every time I use it, it either clears the entire nest outright, or there are 1-2 nests left to deal with without being swarmed by spawns/bug breaches. If I use the 380mm it does fucking nothing except maybe kill a teammate or two.

I want to have whatever 120mm you're using, because it's the exact opposite for me. I can get the timing and location right for a swarm or nest, and it still won't hit shit, like it's purposefully avoiding any enemy, instead shooting the perimeter around their location and not the actual point I threw the beacon at. I'm glad it's working for you, but I can't use the damn thing. I like it's bigger brother, the 380mm more.
