I'm seeing it more of "would be nice of you to rework trash tier stuff that noone uses instead of launching 50more new warbounds". Its only a "fuck you challenge" idea because they themselve let the balancing go in that way.

The second guy has actually made follow up posts specifically to clear things up and tell people that he's not the guy who got doxed and they're offering their sympathies to the wrong guy.

The reddit mods fucking deleted them, because they've now decided that discussing the controversy or challenges at all is haram and not allowed.

So now people are just getting more confused, the og harassers are basically getting off scott free, and the guy who did literally nothing wrong and with zero malice is completely fucked.
 
This has to be one of the most retarded things I've read on reddit and I have read polycule and tranny shit on the reg in the general threads. What is this mental illness? Is it catalogued yet? I feel like it's new, overreacting this much over nothing has to be a new thing.

No nationality is free from retardation, there are plenty of retarded devs in Poland as well. Just off the top of my head there was Superhot where devs removed the suicide ending because it was triggering someone's self-harm anxiety or something lol. Warsaw in particular feels nearly like California.

Recently, the overpriced VR title superhot has recently removed all self harm content, in turn removing a large portion of the game and most of it's plot, assumingly cause some troons complained, despite the devs denying this claim.

Also, a bunch of HD2 youtubers (who themselves are not top-tier 1337 super gamers) managed to do the shit-gear loadout challenge themselves.

So it's 100% doable, just difficult because the equipment is super unbalanced and hasn't been fixed by the devs yet despite the playerbase telling them to for 2 years straight.

I haven't played HD2 in a little while because I refuse to pay for PS online unless it is on sale for at least 50% off, but I had fun in the game. Sad to hear it has gotten shittier. Although, now that I think about it, I stopped seeing memes of it on twitter for awhile. Should've known that memes disappearing means no ones playing.
 
Helldivers 2 is interesting because the product being sold isn’t really the game, as much as it is the experience of pretending to be in a galactic conflict alongside other people. This is a very fun idea that, unfortunately for Arrowhead, is doomed to suffer embarrassing incidents like this because pretending to do something important online stimulates the same autistic neural pathways in redditors that Black Lives Matter and Israel does. Hence the Super Earth horsefag fatwa.

You might think that a Community Manager’s job would be like a gardener’s, cultivating the community’s makeup and norms by being careful not to appeal to certain elements and not rewarding activist behavior — like, say, not adding a fan design cape based on bitching at you to fix your game. Unfortunately the redditor is also your greatest whale and shill, and business demands that your live service game attracts the people that will spend the most money.

I don’t expect this to improve. Any mainstream video game developed in the west that isn’t a shooter or has a ball in it measures its financial success on if you can get redditors to whale it. I am sure in Japan there is a comparatively retarded online community that Capcom or Tecmo-Koei are beholden to, but for the non-yellow man, the redditor is the tastemaker.
 
Is there any chance Reddit the company know how insufferable, insane, violent and vindictive the community they have built is? Do they see it or are they as bad as the people who use the site?

People are just getting more and more pissed at the devs not fixing shit and not listening to people, the game is still fun when it... y'know, works.
