There's a solid chance the people who ruined this guys life don't even play the game, they're fucking redditors.

Latching onto any excuse to fuck with someone is the lifeblood of the reddit cycle.
 
Situations like these is why it is a moral right to call someone a Redditor because there's almost always a chance, no matter how low it is, for them to become exactly like these people (if they already weren't on that stage).

It's why I always see Reddit as a bot place. A bot place that unfortunately has humans running them. Really hope the guy's life comes around for the better. People really should know Redditors have more power than we think of, no matter how much we make fun of them. They still have the tribalistic ability to ruin anyone's life within the same day of catching them, and they'll never let that person forget it. Ever.

And they still insist they're part of the "right side of history" because "doxing is only okay when WE do it. Literally anything and everything is okay when WE do it because WE'RE part of the good guys team. How is this hard to understand?".
 
Man, my decision to quit playing this game is really paying dividends. I really don’t think AH will ever fix their shit. It’s a shame because the game had potential if the devs had decided on optimizing for stability and fun rather than pseudorealism.

Anyways, Total Redditor Death. Anyone who still voluntarily posts to the armpit of the internet deserves to be drowned in an Indian restaurant’s toilet on Diwali.

my honest two cents are this game isn't that hard, even on difficulty 10, the problem is that it doesn't fucking work.
The problem is the "lore" suggests things that don't end up happening. Cyberstan kept referencing "SEAF platoons" and i genuinely thought we'd be seeing bluehelmet marines all over the place. Apparently not.
new features are all about "cooperation" but like even an organized squad of 4 friends cant do half that shit. Too many moving parts for a fundamentally unserious game

Totally reasonable response. Someone offers to donate to charity and in the same breath critics a video game, so obviously the person needs to be doxxed, their employment threathened and their family harassed. I would unironically pay money to see who called the persons workplace and family. Those ppl most have experienced levels of joblessness and basementdwelling unknown to man. They need to be studied. Be4 reading this I would not even have considered it a possibility to be doxxed and harassed over some video game criticism.

I am talking specifically about the sort of person who looks at critique of a video game, and decides 'today I will try and hurt them.' These are people who use the game as a full course identity. Not a facet of a broader, healthy sense of self or a happy little diversion.
 
I'm just gonna post this but I've never seen d10 and never will, and I guess all the modern patches and other things have made the game play like dog shit from what it was before, started in mid 2025, but was the game more fun when it first came out? I don't care if it's hard and I just needed to get gud but why get gud when the game just isn't fun to play? d7 is about where I've stopped grinding. Bugs no thanks, absolutely stupid creatures lol. But even squids getting annoying, just spam larger hoards until you get clipped once and gg. Even with a good loadout, I feel like you should have a bit more weaponry at your disposal so you're not completely reliant on your team- but you might want to as time progresses. The difficulty just ramps up from 0-100 for me and it just isn't fun for a guy with no gamer skillz.

Also the community is full of whack-jobs and even the few low tier randoms I've played with we're fine but god damn you start going above d5 and the expectations start going to "you fuck up I'm kicking you once". Like holy shit chill out.

agreed. anybody who had been on the internet for the past 3 decades can call you its always been a thing that if you piss some no-lifer off, there was always a risk that may go out and stalk you IRL or try to get you fired. those unhinged loons used to be the outliers that anonymity shielded people from. now, everything has to be connected to your real identity in an age where looney fucksticks doxxing is the norm rather than the outlier, and governments around the world are slowly stripping away anonymity, and just makes it easier for those looney troon losers.
 
I used to think that people calling others Glazedivers just weren't very good at the game, but Christ, the offered challenge is hectic and yet it's still not even that big an ask, having pulled it off myself with my good lads in the past. How insecure do these silly niggers have to be to annihilate a guy and do this shit to him, instead of just going 'ok bet' and styling on his challenge offer normally?

That's fine, that's why the game has multiple difficulties.
But don't demand that D10 be simplified or dumbed down because you demand to play at the highest difficulty and being unable to do so without mic/coordination/meta strategems is some sort of insult or bad design. This happens constantly when the reddit gamerdad battalion is activated.
It's already bad enough with the swiggers themselves being INCAPABLE of clearing D10 on many planets and thus unable to balance for it.
 
How does one actually get fired by an online tranny brigade? It mentioned a volunteer position being concerned about 'security' fair enough? But if my job got about 20 emails from some nerds they'd laugh at it and probably contact the police at worst.
