Helldivers 2 - Hell is more diverse than ever as PlayStation's demographics continue to grow and change.

Not to be the party pooper, but don't believe anyone saying they're a developer dropping in this new stuff. It's just modders trolling with a name change.

Despite the kernel level anticheat you can just change some files and get access to a bunch of unfinished items like guns and stratagems. The community manager has also confirmed that no one on the dev team is going into games doing this. It's just LARPers.

Minefields - 70 seconds cooldown, explosions strips armor from charger's legs

HMG Emplacement - 50% more ammo, heavy armor penetration, ship upgrade for more turn speed

Railgun rework - pre-nerf safe mode a make unsafe way more powerful, but now it requires huge batteries that you carry on your back and it fills backpack slot. 15 round capacity

Supply Pack - two additional ammo boxes, each box refills one grenade

LAS-5 Scythe - 400 dps

LAS-7 Dagger - 300 dps, double the heat sink capacity

LIFT-850 Jump Pack - reduce jump cooldown for 20%

What else and how would you buff/rework?

Just checking here, anyone experiencing crashes with AMD GPUs still? I've been testing my new rig and I'm crashing after about 10 minutes of play. I'm convinced it must be a driver issue of some sort, I've disabled global illumination and it still happens. PC temps and load all look fine.

I'd like the senator a lot more if it didn't have the scythe triangle reticle that obscures the little targeting meatball. It could also really use a faster reload.

Team reloading should be possible from the shooter's backpack. I had always just assumed this was possible and really don't understand why it isn't.

Shooting down dropships should insta-kill anything underneath them. Having 5 devastators permanently embedded in the buggy off-center wreckage because I shot it down half a second too late is retarded.

Complex stratagem plotting should not double the evac time. Best case scenario it causes a decent fight. Too often it's two extra minutes of no/minimal combat that I just tab out for.

I have an AMD and I haven't had many crashes.

I had that problem, but a post online recommended locking the game into dx11 with steam launch options and using process lasso to disable smt. Since I've done that I have only had a couple of crashes.

6650xt, played for about two hours, crashed once right after a mission ended and we loaded onto the ship, no crashes other than that
Do have a weird issue where sometimes the game just gets fucking stuck around 35-40 FPS right from startup until I restart it.

Alright turns out it was a problem with AMD drivers; all games would crash 10 mins consistently. DDU'd and it seemed to have fixed it (knock on wood). Thanks.

here's ship upgrades ideas

YE/ET-11 emergency autoeject system

upon receiving critical damage, exosuit violently ejects helldiver (in ragdoll state) before blowing up

ARC/APS-88 warden

arc-based active protective system for exosuit that will destroy projectiles coming towards it such ass - bile spewer's "mortar rounds", rocket raider and rocket devastator's rockets, Tank and Cannon Tower's projectiles. Can be used 12 times before depletion

Is it just me or are the premium warbond guns mostly shit? The only one I’ve found useful so far is the Sickle. The concussive liberator in particular was so egregiously weak I thought I must be doing something wrong
The sickle is so good on bug missions I'm worried they'll end up nerfing it just to subvert the meta or some dumb shit. It chews through light bugs and while it's useless against chargers it can hold its own against swarms and brood commanders etc with a full mag.

Since the major order switch though I've been playing more bot missions and it sucks against bots, total diligence supremacy. I find that with a good team I'm usually finishing bot missions on 5 quicker than I would a terminid mission of similar level. If you play stealth even on higher levels you can do well on bots but it seems like the bugs just keep multiplying and some encounters might spawn one bile titan some might spawn 3.

Try the slugger for bots, thats been my go to. One shots light infantry bots, can also stun lock the medium size bots and finish them in 2-6 shots, knocks off their limbs efficiently. It's pump action with a huge magazine so you can reload as much as you like without losing ammo as you're just inserting more shells. Not having to think about remaining rounds and planning your reloads is underrated.

Because you mentioned the sickle, I just unlocked it but of course the planet with our main objective has the extreme heat condition, almost doubling the time it takes for energy weapons to cool down. I'm mad.
