Forbes also doesn't need to install kernel level software on your PC that is completely capable of spying on whatever it wants under the guise of security. I also doubt a news site even in 2024 requires more than your email, while PSN now requires a Phone number and in some regions a valid real world ID. Not even close to comparable, also it was an option for these accounts to be made to access a service, rather than mandatory after they'd bought in.

Yep. If you've purchased the game and haven't refunded, leave a negative review. If you've left one, let it remain. They will take any sign of backing down as weakness and attempt to lash out. This happens all the time.
