New warbond announced. I never knew how much I needed red and black gear until now.
That booster sounds kind of worthless though, unless the conversion rate of stamina to health is excellent. The ripoff halo shotgun is cool though. I was just thinking about a flechette punisher the other day...

I am quite excited for a plasma pistol. Too bad there's no plasma grenade.
Just wait. A plasma grenade is as inevitable as the plasma pistol was. I'm sure we'll get an arc pistol and grenade eventually, as well as some kind of laser magnum that shoots bolts like the quasar and sickle. What I'm really waiting for is an inevitable health regen booster. Make it a lot easier to justify saving stims when scratch damage can be recovered between fights.

The more weapons that let me pretend I'm a 40k guardsman, the better. I long for a bolt-pistol and lasgun with bayonet.

Any legally distinct 19.05mm (.75 inch) or 20mm grenade launcher should scratch that itch. WH40K isn't the only sci-fi setting with laser guns (with bayonets). GW's copyright lawyers ain't yet ballsy enough to claim Dune is infringing on their copyrights on it.

I just want a tank
I want an ATV (maybe with a rear seat you can shoot from ala the Mongoose from halo) that deploys out of a hellpod for personal transport. The problem is that the terrain as it is isn't really navigable by car though. The exosuit works fine and something small would be no problem but an actual car/tank would be very difficult to use. Especially biomes like jungle and such where things are comparatively cramped.

The first game had two-man motorcycle things and at least one four-seat APC with door guns and an autocannon on the back. The trick was getting a rando team to coordinate enough to use it without blowing one another up or constantly roadkilling each other due to driver retardation. So, the usual Helldiver problems.
Now, granted, the first game also didn't deal with verticality, so it was much easier to get wheeled vehicles to work. But they brought back the mechs eventually, so maybe the Bang Bus will show up again, too.

Exactly. An actual car would be so easy to get hi-centered or landlocked with the steering caught on a rock edge. Tank would be a bit better being able to turn in place, but anything much larger than an actual helldiver pretty much needs to be able to strafe/turn in place. Think about all the rocky terminid hives and how hazardous that terrain is. The only reason I foresee an ATV being plausible is because you could hit it to push it around and get it unstuck or manually flip it by hand.

This warbond feels a little bit sparse. At this point we have too many boosters competing with a handful of exceptionally good picks. Hopefully they'll be changing up the warbond formula soon or give us more booster slots. Perhaps personal boosters will make a return from the first game.
I thought this too. My idea would be to give everyone a secondary booster slot, but your secondary booster only applies to you, not the rest of the team. You will all get the effects of the 4 main boosters everyone picks as usual, then you can pick 1 more specifically for yourself.

Then get rid of armour perks and make them boosters also. Then we can just wear whatever we want without also considering armour perks.

These 2 changes would give a lot more player freedom IMO.

After that I'd love to see weapon attachments or buffs, but one step at a time I guess.

If it's a M1 Garand with 5 shots and the "ping" noise Arrowhead is gonna see record numbers. I'm kind of wondering if they are going for the Musket for Home Defense meme and make a one shot but powerful rifle.

I'm kinda sad it isn't a not!Winchester 1897 Trench Gun with bayonet.

Edit: The rifle does sorta look like a M1 Garand rifle but hard to tell to be sure.
the armor and weapon are both a port from the first helldivers which is kinda disappointing instead of being new stuff

Why have a musket when you can act like Russian Badger doing the infinite ping with a Garand. While also [not] trying to be natural selected out of the genepool.

Garand is great but the Springfield has a special place in my heart too.

Time to recreate this scene against the Bots.
