Helldivers 2 - Hell is more diverse than ever as PlayStation's demographics continue to grow and change.

Gonna be difficult to find the right equipment for the bomb backpack if I gotta go light armor
Don't worry about it. You can easily outrun a hellbomb in 10 seconds in any armor. Its blast radius is only 25 meters.
I fondly remember First contact with the new enemy types
I will never forget the "What the FUCK is that??" Of bewilderment my friend uttered when a dropship dropped a factory strider off in front of us for the first time.

The new las gun is great. I was a little worried it would suck but the fire rate is excellent and shreds bot targets in seconds. Excellent for long range, but might be a problem when engaging a lot of enemies and not using controlled bursts. Health loss is slow but something to keep an eye on.

I'm not really feeling the side arm though. Sure it looks badass and probably has its uses but it only has two rounds by default and low range.

It can 1-shot any enemy in the game. That kind of utility is absurd, even if it's very difficult to use.

The super store added some extra content too, but the highlights for me are: a combat axe for sidearm, a helmet that looks a lot like ghost from CoD, and a new armor that turns your corpse into a grenade after 2 seconds of being killed.

I'm having fun jousting with bots using the shield and the axe while doing solo missions. The axe it's also great for maiming the chainsaw bots with one hit.

New Warbond is great and I'm having a lot of fun with it, the DS Sickle is surprisingly REALLY powerful, I think the info about the gun being low armor penetration is false because it melts the armor off of Overseers with 100% damage red hitmarkers. The Ultimatum can one shot a bunch of structures, Stratagem Jammers, Detector Towers, you don't even need to break the shields on Illuminate UFO encampments. I haven't gotten my hands on the Backpack Hellbomb yet, but I'm very excited to get it.

Either I'm retarded or bad at the game, but I'm having trouble killing Berserkers with the axe, I try to "aim" for the head and all that since the animation swings pretty low but I still get fucked 9/10 times. Got any tips?

I'm curious to see what happens if everyone continues to ignore the squids and the Meridia black hole hits Super Earth.

Got any tips?
Practice with them at lower levels, they start to show up at missions level 2. Target the joints and try to aim higher when you swing, and as soon as you connect a hit (or don't), cancel the animation by evading to the side opposite of the arm you're attacking, rinse and repeat. Don't swing while on the floor or they'll stomp you.

I kind of wish the portable hellhomb had a handheld version also, like the packages and stuff. Portable hellbomb + jump pack would be a fun combo.
We've the portable hellbomb at home, just add the jump pack.

The Super Earth faction has plot armor, the "game master" will find a way to resolve it even if it is not satisfying.
Believe.

Wait I thought the black hole was just gonna be used to bring in new enemy's and new playgrounds when it fully opens up

Probably, and it's probably going to leak Dark Fluid which will be a problem for us, hell it might even mix with the Gloom, who knows.

When my group first encountered one, it came stomping through a treeline at us as we were extracting like a slasher villian. We didn't even know they had added a new bot enemy, so it completely floored us.

The double-edge sickle is very strong. It's not written in the description, but I'm certain that it ramps up to medium penetration as it starts to burn you. The damage feels very high too. All around its a good weapon made even better by a combination of the vitality booster and fire resist armor. When using both you won't take any damage from overheating until max heat where you'll just burst into flames. Even then the damage it's dealing to you isn't  that bad.

So finally just got the PC version after playing on PS5 last year, sucks because these faggots still can't bother to make the game have cross progression but had the nerve to try and force people to sign up with PSN. But gotta love how my first two games both incompletable from bugs, had no Extraction Terminal for the first and the terminal would not let me insert the SSD no matter what (yes it was the right one terminal). So is the PC version more fucked then the PS5 one? I dont remember ever having glitches like that when I played last year on console.

The only mission ending glitch I've ever had was one time the SSSD got stuck in the ground and we couldn't pick it up no matter what. That's like it for that. I do experience glitches where I'm thrown into the ground but usually pop back up. Thos are really it for me. Maybe, I'm lucky.

IIRC I had about 4 or 5 instances of incompletable missions due to bugged terminals in my ~150 hours of play. They do still happen but it seems you got extremely unlucky with 2 soft locks in a row.

Being unable to insert the SSD is not one I have seen before

Thankfully it was just me being very unlucky because the next mission I did went super smooth.
