So are there any new Super Credit locator/beam mods out there? The update that fucked all modded meshes also killed the mods for Super Creds, and obviously a banned mod is not gonna get updated, and I'm too retarded to update it for myself.
Here is an updated one. This one is also improved in that the arrows are no longer bright neon sky blue that blends in with skyboxes. Also, here are a few tips for SC farming with this mod:
  • Zooming in with guns exponentially increases render distance. Use a diligence counter sniper, that shitty plasma sniper from killzone, eruptor, or anti material rifle since at 200m they are all tied for the longest scopes in the game. Doing this, you can scout out SC arrows from far away (without modifying the config)
  • Play on difficulty 3, do eliminate hulk/charger and ICBM missions since they generate at full size. Difficulty 3 doesn't have rare samples, so you get slightly more SC since the table isn't diluted by potential rare samples.
  • Laser Cannon can blow open cargo containers, deal with any potential enemies, and has infinite ammo. Easy pick for SC farming runs.
  • Car, obviously. If not, a jump pack is the fastest way to get around. When using the car, I typically bring a hoverpack so I can scout out areas easier by scoping in and turning in a circle around myself in the air.
  • Look for desert and plains planets because they are usually wide open and flat.
  • In my experience, changing my name on steam to something along the lines of "super credit farming" is an easy way to keep people also hunting SC from kicking you immediately if you are joining others to make a farming party. Most people on good farming planets on difficulty 3 are going to be farmers anyways, new players only have to stick with difficulty 3 for 2 missions after all.
Lastly, if you go to C:\Users\(you)\AppData\Roaming\Arrowhead\Helldivers2\user_settings.config, make it read-only in properties, then go into the config and modify "lod_selection_multiplier" to be something more like 100, you will make the arrows visible from across the entire map. This is easily the best way to farm SC but it tanks the game and you will dip into single digit framerates looking at certain areas on some maps. If the config is not set to read-only, it will be automatically corrected when the game starts up. This will also correct itself (temporarily) if you alter graphics settings mid game, though it will revert to what is specified in the read-only config document when you restart the game. Happy hunting! And remember, we are probably getting a new warbond on the rumored announcement on the 8th, so get those SC.

I mean I won’t be giving arrowhead any more money after seeing how they talk about their player base, but 10 bucks isn’t really that much anymore anyway, you can’t even get McDonald’s with it. Hell it won’t even get you a pack of hot dogs and buns anymore.

Lol that got a giggle out of me. I dropped an additional 20$ on this game that's all the extra they are getting.

I keep disappointing myself thinking that the new Warbond is going to be some game-changing shit, but that's on me I guess. I like the saber and flag, kind of annoyed about the flag being a stratagem but it better wave around on my back when its holstered.
 
Months of a content drought and this is what they come out with? I already only play this game when my buddies are online, because fuck playing with rando redditors, but we've barely been playing since there's been nothing to work towards. Not seeing a lot here to make me want to play more often.

lmao. 1 single gun- another DMR, useless armor (cool helmets and capes though), what'll probably end up being a tactical axe reskin, a meme support weapon, and another clutter booster. The only thing that could possibly be saved is the new grenade but unless it does something crazy I can't imagine how it could compete with the basic functionality of the existing incendiary grenades. It's hard to anticipate how it works. If it procs fire on enemies once (~125 damage of burning total, minus the direct damage from the grenade detonating) without leaving any lingering patches to refresh the DOT or a lasting AOE to lengthen its effect it would easily put this warbond below Viper Commandos.

Whatever happened to the thermite/gas JAR Dominators floating around in the game files for the last year? I've been hurting for a gas primary...
What’s the armor bonus? It better be godlike if they want 1000 super shekels

Honestly making the flag take a full strat slot has to be maximum trolling. Like seriously, which would you rather have on dif 8+? A machine gun that mows down 30 enemies in seconds, a recoilless rifle where you can 360 dive a bile titans head off across the map and destroy bot fabs, or a little pokey stick that probably won't be anymore damaging than the other melee weapons where the only advantage it has is range? Unless the flag does something super cool like make nearby teammates take less damage, reload faster, run faster, stabilize aim, etc. That's what they should do with it.

I mean ffs if it's taking a whole slot make it useful. I know it's not out yet but still. Also less limb damage? Seriously? WE ALREADY HAVE FUCKING ARMOR THAT DOES THAT! "Ohhh but this makes it to where they won't break at all!" bro press V. I can count the number of times I've had to worry about limb damage on one hand.

The fucking sample booster? That is the thing I'm actually pissed off about the most. I have been at max destroyer with max samples for MONTHS and the DSS is barely chipping away at it. WE DONT NEED MORE FUCKING SAMPLES, WE NEED MORE THINGS TO SPEND THEM ON. Are they just running out of ideas? People complain about useless armor passives, but just look at the amount of shit boosters we have right now. Sample pick ups, faster extraction etc. I've literally only seen a SINGLE person use motivational shocks, and guess what? I didn't fucking notice it at all.

I already have an armor passive I cooked up literally 10 seconds ago. Call it something dumb like "unyielding" or "stalwart" where it's a medium/heavy set, and there's a small % (20-35%??) chance that whatever hits you does 0 damage. If that's too OP then maybe reduce damage significantly like you have double heavy armor. (hellbombs and 500kg excluded lol)


Here's another one, "Bandolier," where the ammo capacity for all magazine weapons is increased by 50%. Including applicable support weapons. It took me less than one minute to think of these. I don't think what I suggested is too game-breaking at all. Notice how they are somewhat similar to democracy protects, and siege-ready while not just being carbon copies that do almost the exact same thing?

But that officer drip tho....I can finally live up to my namesake. I sure as hell won't be shelling out real money for this, though. Farming it is. Having stuff for the "rule of cool" is ok and all, but just idk...have something useful???
