Helldivers can also be recruited from the SEAF if they distinguish themselves. Also SE military doesn’t have much training mostly because most citizens learn how to shoot from a very young age and most jobs have something to do with arming the military. And the Helldivers are the most loyal and elite of that lot

At this point, what has Reddit done that was a positive? I know there were a few events but it seems to get cancelled out by negatives.
 
I remember there was a full on conversion mod for HD2 that swapped out the bugs with the bugs from the ST movie and quite a few armor replacements as well, though sadly because this game is made of spaghetti mods break after almost every update and a lot of mod creators just vanish from existence and never update their shit lol.

I believe this whole situation is an unfortunate feedback loop which happens with a wildly successful thing. Fortunately its USUALLY mitigated, but this time its definitely not been.

Loop is
-thing comes out
-thing is really cool, successful, becomes extremely respected
-creators become full of shit because they think they are infallible and incapable of being retarded (nobody is, and thinking this triples your retardation)
-make stupid decisions because no longer thinking critical
-fans who have a weird offshoot of Stockholm syndrome fueled by better memories, refuse to accept decisions sucked, and viciously defend against it
-Community becomes septic, hostile, and jingoistic, going through slow decay

Generally this kinda shit is more reserved for sociopathic people like pirate software, but I ALMOST think that the vibe of "for democracy" and "super Earth", has become such a larp for these "fans", that I think they don't really fully separate it from reality.

Its a shame, I never got an opportunity to play helldivers 2 at launch, and I don't even know if it would be worth it now. But that kind of INSANE retardation inside a community I hate. Ffs they could of just told him to stfu and called him a nigger faggot. Doxing over that is insane. That's shit id expect from tailor swift fans or some sort of celebrity worship.

Because all social media is evil. They enable porn addiction, trannydom and misogyny and disguise it as funny memes. Reddit pretends to be feminist but they have r/FuckingFascists and r/dykebreaking, subs where gross moids roleplay as women and basically humiliate them. Kiwifarms is an honest anti-porn female space (thanks to Null:heart-full:) and all trannies are kicked out right away, that's why they want to shut us down. Women are the mentally sane beacons in a sea of horny trannies and we can't have that kind of normality anymore.

It's funny the game is still so fucked after all this time. I had a lot of fun with it but their social media/whatever you wanna call the people who deal with the public are beyond retarded. They constantly screw everything up and don't seem to play test anything they drop. He's not joking having to challenge them with money to play their own game because they definitely don't do so willingly.

I remember them dropping these very important missions and updates that had, AT LAUNCH, 100% failure rate because of very obvious bugs. It was clear they weren't even basic but testing their own updates at all before dropping them. It was so strange, I've never seen anything like it.

Also...reddit being reddit. Everybody there is awful. They doxed me one time as well and went on to make user accounts pretending to be my dead father to taunt me because I posted something they disagreed with. I can't even remember what it was, but it was something innocuous, not even some hot political take or anything, and that was years and years before covid even. They've always been insane. Its just snowballed.

They should be taking accountability, because fostering a community of mental patients is entirely their fault. People have been commenting on their unhinged community managers for years now and very few of them actually got fired. Realistically this is only the beginning. There's thousands of games with Discord servers such as this, both big and small, and the devs all partake the same parasocial tactics that promote the toxic positivity we see here.

Personally I wouldn't be surprised if the DRG faggots end up assassinating a content creator for saying the rockpox update was AIDS (it was).
