It was going to sell regardless. I doubt the developers want the kind of attention they're getting right now because you 100% know Kotaku/Vox/Verge are typing up multiple articles with screenshots of the Steam forums saying that the game has an alt-right problem. I'm honestly surprised the Steam jannies haven't closed the forums yet.
