Every clown-based horror film I've seen, has at most, earned a "...Meh." from me. I like the IT movies, including the 1990 miniseries, but, for me, they're not binge-watchable.
Clown, from 2014, which I've sperged on about before at one point, I find interesting because it delves into the mythical idea of the demonic association with clowns and the resulting coulrophobia.
The film's mythology has a monster that ate kids in the medieval times, in Germany, called the Clöyne, which, after eventually been dealt with, ends up in a costume box, hundreds of years later, found by a guy who wants to dress as a clown for his son's birthday party, and finds he can't take it off.
