I'm a Texan. Doesn't get more American than that.

I live on a decent street in Texas, except the neighbors across from me were apparently arrested for being meth headed hoarders that threw beer cans at everyone and being a menace to society. Well, they are more or less shut ins with no functional outlook for their bloodline's future. They also let their mother rot in that cesspit.

Other than that, two baptists churches, a catholic church, and a black people tabernacle nearby.

I'm so American I celebrate Yule Christmas every year by killing Hessians.

I'm so American I piss red, white and blue. My doctor said it was prostate cancer and I kicked him in the balls for being a pinko commie faggot.

I mean, I eat burgers and stuff, but I have only lived in America for about 11 years. I'm from France, so call me Commie and shit I guess.

French? Get out of here you cheese eating surrender monkey. You aren't American until you take the American pledge.

Both my parents' families have been here since before the Revolution (my mother's side came to New Amsterdam as Dutch colonists and my father's side came from Scotland and Barbados as part of the sugar trade).

Also, @The Dude and I belong to the most American of Christian denominations.

I'm a Californian, so that already deducts some points from my Americanism.

Our family put an American flag on our front lawn and the next morning it was gone. Don't know if it was the wind or someone stole it. The people across the street have a Che Guevara flag in their garage so...

It's funny. I've never seen anyone in my hometown put any weight in patriotism as a concept - either they just don't care, or they actively disavow their own country. Seeing people who actually do give a shit, even if somewhat ironically, is quite new.

But then, I live right down the road from a liberal arts college.

I wish I was more American like you guys - you seem to have it all figured out. I've been brainwashed by "liberal" commies far too much - but I don't want to be like those "conservatives" mentioned on TV who are, in reality, ruining things for everyone worldwide. What should I do?
