Why do you get so bothered by the insinuation at the average person is a dumb fucking nigger? Clearly not everyone is; but I can just point to a million different, new societal trends. The obsession with LGBT happening in the past decade is because people are dumb fucking niggers. You can try to go on about the Jews leading people by the noses or whatever but ultimately, this is the people getting what they want. There are entire large websites crammed with idiots. Go on reddit or instagram and read the comments. I don't agree with the assumption that you have to find the average person tolerable or respectable. I think we're too democratic of a society that cares too much what the blobby mass of everyone thinks.
And I think the best advice anyone can get is to just assume other people are unreliable, lying, thieving, nasty fucks, until they've repeatedly proven that they're not.
We need more negativity about where society is, not positivity. Maybe that will inspire some generation of kids to actually rebel.
I'm happy to consider the world may not be such a terrible place, but that's not the world I see.
I get to call my coworkers faggots and retards to their face on a daily basis with no recourse.
I just got a raise for being myself and not compromising any of my values. I don't work any respectable field but I like where I'm at.
I see people daily who talk about how retarded the public zeitgeist is.
I've seen some great films in the last year which are not politically correct.
Hollywood is losing billions of dollars because nobody wants to see their shit anymore.
The reason you probably see all the retarded takes on social media is because actual people are living actual lives in the real world, and don't have time for that gay shit. Not to say all people are "COMPLETELY BASEDtm", but when you spend time around real people who are working and paying bills, a lot of them are okay.
Of course things are terrible. But I'm not going to spend my twenties ruminating on how many politicians and business owners I wish I could kill. There might be a violent uprising soon enough, but I don't think it's awful to not fedpost and actually try to help the immediate people around me. And I don't think it makes someone any braver or awoken to constantly tell people how awful things are and how there should be something done about it, while at the same time not doing anything about it.
Most people throughout history have been fucked over by those in power and still had to make the most of it.
I just don't see the point anymore in screeching to the wind about shit outside of my control instead of taking agency over my own life.
If you want to initiate the resistance, I'm in full support of that. But if not, you can at least do something to make your own life and others slightly better.
At the end of the day being upset about things sucking isn't actually defeating anyone in power, it's just making you miserable.
That doesn't mean you have to cope your way through everything and be completely blind to the tumult going on. You don't have to be obsessed with "the new thing" or wear shiny clothing and become apathetic. But you should take stock over your own life.
In the next year or two, I plan on being able to have a place where I can have a spare room or two my family can crash in if things get rough. That's not beheading the corporate overlords, but it does make sure at least me and someone else can be okay. If more people did that, we wouldn't be so terrified and helpless against the bloodthirsty monsters in charge.
Call it cope, but I truly do think the very small things you do in your daily life and the bits of kindness you give people do build up and ripple several times over. Giving someone a compliment, being emotional support for people in distress, offering a meal or opportunity can do a lot more than you think.
And something important.
Or maybe they're just right?
Maybe they're correct, but that's also missing the point.
When you have these sigma bros telling you to get ripped and successful just so you can afford a bugatti as their master plan to
OWN DA JEWS!1!, I call bullshit.
When you have Sam Hyde taking 50$ donations to offer life advice while essentially saying how everything's pointless anyway, shitting on everything regardless of if he's seen/read it, and surrounding himself with dudes half his age who fit the mold of everything he tells men not to be just so they can be his yes men during streams... I call bullshit.
You can use truths in what you say but still use those truths to essentially sell snake oil and gaslight people in vulnerable spaces. In fact, that's the very thing most conmen and faithhealers have done throughout history.
I'm not saying there isn't some good advice in that sphere, but it becomes a very dark, bleak pit to climb out of once you've dived deep enough into it.
I'm not saying anything like they're radicalizing people or they're "problematic" or some jewish boogeyman shit like that. But I do think a lot of these guys know what they're doing and are intentionally preying on people's fears and insecurities to prop themselves up as messiahs (funny enough while still playing up the Christian shit).
Maybe the reason their audiences' lives suck is because they're deepthroating their surrogate father figures on a Friday night instead of learning new subjects, enjoying a good book, meeting new people or actually doing that "grind life" they buy into.
They're not wrong, but they ain't exactly right either.
