Been busy with that job. Its going well, except...
I thought speaking your mind and calling out someone everybody hates would be cathartic. It's really not, though. I think I'd have been better if I kept my cool, even if it meant just taking their shit uncontested. I don't think my bosses will be too mad, because
literally everyone in our department hates the person, but somehow I'm still nervous about it.
Can't decide if it's good or bad that I'm off the next day when the potential fallout happens. I tried to message my boss about it and get ahead of whatever bullshit story the other person makes up. I just hope no one forces me to apologise, because I really think I'd sooner take the pink slip.
Beyond not wanting a pet, I don't have time for a pet, I'd have to get rid of stuff I like to make room for it and make my house pet safe, there's nowhere interesting to walk it nearby, and it would have a really depressing life.
Sounds like a good way to make you and the dog both miserable. 100% do not cave on this, your instincts are spot on. One of my dogs belonged to a similar home where the owner
loved him, but the dog was just miserable and lonely and sickly all day. I thought the guy was gonna cry when he gave himto me, but the dog really is a lot better now that he's in a household that can give him the right amount of time and attention.
So yeah. Don't let them shame you into it. Even if they want to call you a horrible animal hater or whatever. Even if you
actually are. The both of you are better off if you stick to your guns.
