Thanks. How are you by the way?
I'm doing good. Just excited to be able to relax at home. Maybe catch up on the kiwi shooting hubbub.
Visiting my mom for a couple days, so better than usual.
I feel this image within my old weary bones. Get some rest, okay?
tfw don't get a Birthday hat because of the Farms' recent changes.
Apart from the bad Internet access on my end, it's a fine day for me to lurk across threads (including the kiwi shooting), as per usual.

But, overall, I had a pretty great day (Well, more like week). I'm a substitute teacher so, in all honesty, I don't get a lot of chances to feel actually useful since a lot of the assignments are just the school needing a warm body in the classroom for liability reasons, but, for the past week I've been doing the same para position helping out a girl with down's and a neurotypical girl with a disability that confines her to a wheelchair. If you know anything about special needs kids then you'll know that any major change or having to spend their time with someone who doesn't know how to properly communicate with them can really ruin their day. Over the course of the week I got to know these girls' routines and mannerisms to the point where I was consistently able to make their days a little better and their lives a little easier, in a way that wouldn't have been possible if they had a different sub everyday. I felt like I was actually needed. Plus, having a child genuinely and unconditionally excited to see that you're there in the morning is an extremely rewarding feeling and I wish I got to experience it more often.
That's pretty wholesome. May your teaching endeavors continue to flourish and bring joy to the kids. Happy birthday!View attachment 696333

The good news is Nebraska basketball played well as an underdog, the bad news is we squandered way too many chances in the last 10 minutes and ended up losing. So I'm both proud of the effort and mad that we didn't finish the deal.
I'm sick.
Other than my ear being plugged and feeling half deaf, things are great. Just had pizza...so that's a +
Hope you are doing well yourself.
Thanks! We're probably done for the season but the good news is both of the teams played like shit today so the team that beat is us probably gonna get assraped tomorrow, which is a decent consolation (and at least I saw my team go down nobly instead of getting murdered)I hope your team gets better scores in the future. Im not well versed in sports but I know losing sucks.

My favorite thing about sports fandom is that there may only be one team that I love, but there are many teams that I hateIts always good to see the team you dont like go down in a blaze of fire. And your team did what they could.
