His fantasy world was simply not enough to sustain the real world. In Chris's fantasy world he:
-Is a stud that should attract women
-Sonichu is a major hit with followers all over the world.
-Is on the verge of making a deal with a major video game/comic company for his masterpiece
-Is the only thing standing between Manajerks, College Deans and other evil persons
In the Real world:
-Graduated with a degree that is worthless ten years on
-Lives in a rotting house amongst piles of garbage with a mother who is possessive in the extreme.
-Stopped writing Sonichu because the internet basically destroyed that dream
-Tricked, trolled and fooled so many times that his only real outlet to the world, the internet, is more or less verboten.
-Kicked out of damn near half of Ruckersville for loitering
-Dresses like a half-assed transvestite.
I think that since Bob died the real world hit Chris in the face and he doesn't know what to do. In fact, he may not be able to do anything.
