Rent. I trust no one anymore. Even my beloved franchises have betrayed everything I like about them. It's not that I don't like change. I just hate the changes they're making for the new audience. Like fuck. Remember when games had cheat-codes and unlockables that were actually cool/useful/silly?
Edit: I don't watch videos because any retard can make a decent game look bad, look no further than DSP on this very website. If you only had to watch his footage, without his commentary, or knowing anything about him and then decide if a game is playable, you'd never play any game he touches.
Valkyrie Profile turned into a generic original God of War clone.
Final Fantasy is moving ever so closer to becoming Devil May Cry/old God of War as well.
God of War turned into Tomb Raider that forces you to hold forward rather than display fucking cutscene. Jesus christ. I hate that hold button cutscene shit. I'm not a child. I don't need to be actively engaged every moment, especially if it's just a narrative transitional scene where it's just people talking, just play the fucking scene. Developers had no problem with this walking talking cutscene shit back when Bioshock Infinite came out and MW2 was the rage, now , it's like you NEED to be pressing a button at all fucking times.
Tomb Raider, ironically is one of the few franchises that actually did get better in this new era.
No More Heroes...didn't change shit and is the same exact fucking game it was on the Wii.
Metal Max Xeno (PS4) was interesting but a huge step backwards from the previous game on the PS2.
Metal Max Xeno Reborn took a mediocre game and remade it into a below average game that was given a 9/10 score from a Destructiod Tranny.
