Norman was a normal person with an abusive mother, who alternated between physically and emotionally abusing him and (as established in Psycho 4) drunkenly came onto Norman then used that as an excuse to further brutalize her son, beating him up and forcing him into a dress purely to sexually humiliating him because she tried to rape her own son and stopped herself/decided to blame Norman for the incident even though he was terrified that his mom would beat him if he had rejected her drunken advances.

Everyone knew this story was going to end in tragedy one way or another. Either chris would kill himself, hurt somebody else, or end up dead on the street. Chris has serious mental illness and that's been the case for a long ass fucking time. At this point anybody saying it's just autism and social maladjustment is kidding themselves, he's always exhibited symptoms of far more serious issues. There's a very good case for him being schizophrenic or something of that nature. And that absolutely did not fucking start here.

Mental illness usually starts manifesting itself in late adolescence or in a person's early 20's. This is, coincidentally or not, right about the time Chris's life took an absolute fucking nosedive into increasingly disturbing weirdness. There's a video of chris that was shot when he was in high school where he's reading this poem he wrote for class and just kind of talking into the camera. He was an awkward, dweeby, kid with some obvious issues, but if you were to make a prediction on his life based on that or anything else we know about him at the time you'd think with proper care and guidance he could have grown as a person and become if not normal at least functional. Once he got into his 20's that shit just fucking collapsed. He started getting banned from stores for creeping on women, he would do the insane "curse ye hame ha" thing at people he hated apparently seriously believing it did something, his thinking got increasingly conspiratorial and paranoid, and his fantasies started getting more and more intense. That's the only part of your post I disagree with, I've always thought Chris would get in trouble for something sexual and likely end up on a list but him doing something inappropriate in public (want woman muscle brad was borderline) to close to a school or in a family area, or at a con or something (getting a bit to handsy with a fan) and the Police getting called and it spiralling from there.

Chris has had creepy thoughts about him mum for a while but it's took him time to realise he's in power at home and he's had to work himself upto doing it and he had to plan to do it (evidenced by that book he bought), He's not a active predator i.e. going out and looking for someone to abuse he needs time, opportunity and above all else to realise he's in a position of power over that person to abuse them, If Barb had anbother younger kid who was at home who was female I would have been concerned sooner but thankfully (and regretfully) that wasn't the case so it ended up with Chris working himself up to do it over the course of years and then preparing himself physically and mentally to take action.

My interpretation from about a year ago was always that Chris would begin the homeless saga, people on here would send him small bits of money until he couldn't be as active online as before and everyone would lose interest like during the uneventful court time a few years back.

It's funny to think I was so naive, and I actually had a modicum of mental self assurance that something like this wouldn't happen. I remember seeing the tweets relating to fucking his mum and that and thinking "hmmmm, Chris you weirdo". I was under the impression that as gross as it is to say, his thoughts were staying in his bedroom and not moving over to Barb's room.

Let me put it this way, imagine if Chris actually met that 17 year old Fiona chick at Everfree. But in letters it's "THE GODS TOLD ME TO HEAL HER AND I DID, SINCE I AM A DIETY AND CAN DO NO WRONG". Or just recall his court appearance. Did he tell them "I am a goddess, you can't lock me up"? All of this, starting with his trooning out and ending with delusions of godhood is just one big LARP, a place to hide from the harsh reality.
