It's hard to go back and see his fixation on wanting to be with a woman, as it's such a reoccurring theme with Chris. I'd say it's one of the CENTRAL things that's driven a lot of the trolling, people faking being women to get close to him.
Now the hindsight makes the whole Love Quest seem like it's building up to this incident of Chris doing the absolutely unthinkable.

It's just sad, I don't know why this has impacted me as much as it has. I've always thought of Chris as harmless. Self-destructive at the absolute WORST, not dragging anyone other than himself down. That's been proven wrong with these recent events.

Been following him for years, even lurking around during the pre-trans times to some degree. So to that end, I can confidently say modern Chris is unrecognisable from what he once was.

I've always viewed Chris' story as an interesting case study in how NOT to raise kids with special needs and why it's so important to not fuck that up. Chris has done some pretty fucked up and monstrous things before as well (Sorbet especially pissed me off), and this definitely takes the cake, but I don't think my views of past Chris will change aside from some eyebrow raising at past interactions with/Chris' mentions of Barb.

This is an interesting point too. Chris has been on record saying he would engage in bestiality in efforts to woo a girl before, and his reaction to being sent "child drawings" of his characters and his response of listing examples of how cartoon characters he likes engaging in that sort of thing having those odd pauses really made me wonder if he WAS truly grossed out by that or if it was just another act. Especially looking back on those clips after these happenings.

Honestly, the "attracted to children" narrative is more likely just something invented by pedophiles themselves to justify their perversions under the guise of an "identity" (e.x. "minor attracted person"). Real talk, I always imagined we'd get to this point some day. Following Chris off and on since the SA thread, this sadly isn't as shocking as it should be.

Hell, I mostly lost interest in this after the Ideaguys saga and it was just a slow decline. I tried to get out but [weens] keep pulling me back in.

We're trained not to think the worst of cows. In spite of some of them doing crimes, there's a lot who don't graduate to it out of laziness, cowardice, or misjudgement on our part. Humans always focus more on the negative side of things, it's part of how we evolved and such. The possibility of Chris doing this when his mother was stronger was none due to her saying no and her control over him. It was reasonable to call it a-logging because we shouldn't have focused on what he could do and possibly blow it out of proportion, but years passed and the restrains holding Chris back diminished as well as bad influences in his life growing.

Humans change. Chris changed. These are two things we're not used to due to cows mostly staying the same over the years (it is what makes them cows after all). These were mostly subtle and gradual changes that you have to pluck out say 2011 Chris and 2019 Chris to get a clearer picture on his changes.

In the end, I don't know if "the greatest trolls of all time" manipulated him into doing this through their will alone. Something tells me that all 2020 Chris needed was a bit of a push.

I guarantee that if he got so serious with a woman that he was going to marry her and move out, Barb would've lost her shit. No, I don't think this recent sex constitutes as anything other than rape. Chris definitely raped her. But this isn't some freak incident that came out of the blue, it was a long cycle of neglect, manipulation, and creepy behaviors that shouldn't ever exist in the mother/son dynamic.
