I've grown curious recently. Kinda had my own idea for an OP but gave up on it after deciding it was too boring, but now I'm wondering what criteria I even set for myself when I did that.
I've figured out that, to me, a thread is "boring" when there's either constant repetition that keeps being reported on as something exceptional (a lot of trans rights activists put me to sleep because they just parrot the same few phrases over and over with little variation, even getting pissed in the exact same ways whenever their delusions are denied), almost nothing to report on relating to the cow/community regularly (regardless of whether there's potential for good milk or not), or they just grow uninteresting with time as they hide from the internet more and more/never change for the better or worse/both.
I have no idea if this is the standard though, so now i'm curious. What would you say is "too boring" for a thread- or, alternatively, what excites you most in a thread?
