Culture How To Believe False Things - Until I was 38 I thought Men's World Cup team vs Women's World Cup team would be a fair match and couldn't figure out why they didn't just play each other

[you can skip this section if you don’t need context and just want to know how I could believe such a crazy thing]

In my chat community: “Open Play” dropped, a book that says there’s no physical difference between men and women so there shouldn’t be separate sports leagues. Boston Globe says their argument is compelling. Discourse happens, which is mostly a bunch of people saying “lololololol great trolling, what idiot believes such obvious nonsense?”

I urge my friends to be compassionate to those sharing this. Because “until I was 38 I thought Men's World Cup team vs Women's World Cup team would be a fair match and couldn't figure out why they didn't just play each other to resolve the big pay dispute.” This is the one-line summary of a recent personal world-shattering I describe in a lot more detail here (link).

I’ve had multiple people express disbelief that this is possible. Here is how it is possible.

Who Are You Going To Believe? Everything Everyone Says Plus Everything You See, or Some Science-Illiterate Jerks?

As I talk about frequently on this blog1, autistic people have a natural tendency to believe that when other people say things they are trying to truthfully communicate what they actually believe. Because otherwise what’s the point?? Several friends say “Yes ok, but you have eyes, right? You can see things yourself?”

Can I? What is it I saw, when I looked around?

I grew up in a suburb of a small Blue city in the 90s. I did not see men fighting women. My time was spent in school where teachers interact via words and chalkboards. My peers were children and their strength was proportional to what grade they were in, not their sex. My siblings were younger than me, so weaker. My babysitter was older than me, so she was stronger. All adults were functionally infinitely strong.

At recess I read books. I opted out of gym as much as possible, it was humiliating and vulgar. The only post-puberty phys ed class I was forced to take was sex segregated so I wouldn't have had any opportunity to see differences. In earlier gym classes I didn’t look around much. Why would I? Are people comparing themselves to see how many jumping jacks they can do? I just wanted it to be done with.

I didn’t watch sports, but even when I was exposed to them they were already sex-segregated, so how could I have observed that women are having a hard time against men? Mostly I just noticed that women were excluded from sports altogether. I was told this was due to sexism, which lined up with everything I had been told about the world, so obviously it was true.

But the Olympics!! What about the Olympics?

Men don’t compete against women, so a casual watching of a nearby TV during a conversation doesn’t give any observations. To notice a difference I would have to look for the reported numbers somewhere on the screen, write them down, and compare them across the events. Again, this is not a level of interest I held/hold for sports.

OK, but what about all of media everywhere?

I grew up in the 90s. My media diet consisted of awesome stuff like Aliens, Terminator 2, Buffy, Xena, Dark Angel, the various Star Treks, The Matrix, Farscape etc. The rule for who kicked ass was "the one that's the main character." If an action movie or series had a woman in it, she kicked ass.

1742995522412.png

My books were science fiction and fantasy and Marvel. What determined the winner of a fight wasn’t muscles, it was cybernetics and laser guns, or dark rituals and spell books and magic swords, or getting the best mutation.

The very earliest RPG I played did have a tiny points-neutral modifier for sex, but by the time I bought my second computer game even that was gone. Stats were allocated by the player, and could be modified by race (elf/dwarf/orc, human/ghoul/supermutant) but never by sex. Sex was purely an aesthetic choice. Why would whether you have a dick or not affect how hard you can swing a sword?

The one difference everyone did admit to was men have a modest advantage in upper-body strength, so they’ll do more pushups and pull-ups than women can.

So yes, everywhere I looked, men and women were basically identical. It’s actually very easy to not get any evidence of male physical advantage if you don’t spend much time interacting with the physical world and all your second-hand sources are politely not drawing attention to the embarrassingly unequal parts of reality. And every disparity that does exist is easily attributed to the deep sexism of society which is as well established as the heliocentric model of the solar system.

I hold that — given my experience — I was more justified in my belief than anyone who claims that men playing against women for the World Cup would be unfair. All it takes is trusting that people believe what they say over and over for decades across all of society, and getting all your evidence about reality filtered through those same people. Which is actually not very hard.

Here and here and here for starters

Autism or not there is a surprising undercurrent of thought in most norms these days where they think most women can do a lot more than they actually can, despite differences in physical ability, but there is some magical block keeping it from happening. Fiction is not reality but the action girl tropes combined with messaging that it's the patriarchy that has disallowed women particular avenues (not nature), that girls can do anything they put their minds to (and better!), and the general messaging that you can do or be anything granted you just find a way...it does add up to movie magic thinking about a lot of this stuff. It doesn't help when women are allowed into roles now that we honestly shouldn't be. There should not be female cops on patrol, there should not be female soldiers doing anything other than secretarial work, there should not be female firefighters. But we see some women in these roles and think it proves that they're as capable as the men even though we know they're really not and that them existing in these jobs are basically vanity roles we have the "luxury" of pretending are helpful. A lot of people like the turbo autist who wrote this article are also completely removed from any work involving manual labor. Regardless of his actual socio-economic background modern society in the more urban areas allows him to have a completely effete lifestyle where all of this is abstract, it is no more fictional to him that the man should be the one breaking rocks than it was fictional a katana wielding woman could run through a bunch of henchmen.

Although he's an NPC, and will surely get shit on in this thread, I appreciate his willingness to be vulnerable about it. I would like to see it made more acceptable to admit that you were duped by the machine, and this article (in much greater quantity) is the kind of thing that could get us there.

Nah, I don't think it's actually appropriate to shit on someone for realizing they're wrong. It's just wild that he almost made it to FORTY before realizing that men and women are physiologically different. I have NO explanation for that one.

It really made the women seem like emotionally-fragile people who gave up, panicked and accused people of stuff at the drop of a hat. The men on the other hand were tasked with constantly corking up their true evil nature.

This has been the major effect that I (a wammin) have noticed. This batshit insane ideology actually creates a victim-blaming mentality among men who are too dim to realize the hard facts before they hit adulthood. A commenter on the blog post put it well:

For me it was more learning that about 97-98% of women couldn’t beat the median man in a fight, and that it’s mostly biological, when I’d previously guessed it would be more like 80% and more cultural. Hardly a revelation, but still, when I go back to films I watched as a kid (e.g. Kill Bill), I notice this disconnect—at the time, I thought it was completely realistic that a trained female martial artist could beat most men, now it seems like pure fantasy.

Oddly, I think this belief made me a tiny bit more misogynist—I saw real-life women being physically weak as a character defect, rather than a biological reality.

It’s not odd at all! Of course women look like demented losers when you think they just let themselves get raped or whatever lmao.

I have men give me dirty looks when I cross the street to avoid them at night or take similar extra precautions. Fuck you, I’ve never been raped and I don’t wanna be. Most of the women I know who HAVE been got into bad situations because they didn’t realize they weren’t action hero boss bitches and even a pathetic nerdling or malnourished crackhead could overpower them easily.

Lot of people in this thread, on kiwifarmsaaf - a website dedicated specifically to intense scrutiny of people with autism - are having their first encounter with high-functioning autism.
There's a lot of people here who still casually stroll into a 600+ page thread of somebody who has been doing nothing but ruining their life for 30+ years due to autism and retardation and earnestly ask the question: "Why doesn't he/she just simply get a job and not be retarded?" as if its some sage advice.

I find this interesting. He has never, ever, done any kind of event, pastime, sport, or hike or something in a mixed group? as a younger woman I did various outdoorsy pastimes. Now I know I’m at the smaller weaker end of the female curve, so I’d expect most people to outrank me. but the men and women I did these sporty things with were a variety. Lads from maybe five foot six to six foot six. Girls shorter than me up to maybe five ten. Some of those girls were national champions or county champions- very athletic, yet the lads who were just a few inches taller than me and built like sparrows were stronger and faster. The women could do things based on flexibility that the men couldn’t, but the men were able to just brute force their way around.
He never kicked a ball around in a group? Never ran? Never climbed a tree? Never fought?
I just don’t understand how you can get to adulthood and not get that men are vastly stronger. he seems to pride himself in being logical but he’s just believed what he’s been told - he’s believed the on screen stuff over reality. I find this really enlightening- everyone’s reality is constructed for them I suppose but his is totally imposed
If I may ask rudely, how old are you? Most nerds of the 90s and onwards would avoid sports, well like how nerds avoid sports. Autists are like 99% nerds too. Kind of a meme really.

I have never ever interacted with female sports. Out of all you listed, I only did fighting and than only with boys. White euro suburbs are very coddled and fighting little girls was frowned upon. Even gym classes were sex separated, and my teenage self guessed it was to stop the guys getting distracted by boobs.
But think about it, if you're an average citydweller or suburbite, nobody is doing anything strenuous, so you aren't around any sort of yardstick to compare women and men. People aren't going and cutting down a cord of firewood in front of their kids or trying to stack up a wall of sandbags; the most demanding thing that anyone, male or female, is likely encountering is changing a tire or moving furniture. And while a woman may struggle a bit to move a couch or jack up a car and heft a wheel around, most of them ought to be able to accomplish it if they really need to. A wheel's what, around forty pounds? Any adult shy of the elderly can probably pick that up and carry it as far as their trunk. So if you're a sperg and you grow up seeing women going around no more inconvenienced than men in their daily lives, why would you suspect that there's a functional difference? I can see how this guy came to the conclusions that he reached. If he'd grown up out in the country where manual labor is more likely a facet of daily life, I think he'd have learned early on that there were tasks that only men attempted.
This too, it is obvious, blindingly so. My knowledge about female muscle density came from biological studies, not real life experience. Warriors had always been male, soldiers and firefighters and construction workers too, so it is obvious men need to be stronger. Euro cops are glorified ticket giving machines so woman cop didn't stand out. As a kid I just attributed it to sheer size difference. Euro women used to be very slim, and even nowdays hamplanets aren't common. Twice the meat, obviously stronger.

My big difference came from 2 things, liberalism is more shunned in slavlands and we all knew from a young age TV wasn't real. Well and I have a no tism diagnosis.

Jerry the mouse flings dynamite at Tom the cat. There is a boom and the cat is covered in soot and a little bit worse for it.
Now you know dynamite is used to blow up rocks and bricks. As a kid, you touched rock or at least a brick, that's what walls are made out of, and stroked a cat's back. You know that brick is harder than cat, thus TV isn't true, by the age of 5, because if dynamite can destroy bricks, it will do worse to a cat.

It obviously applies to Buffy fighting a giant wolfman. But it also applied to Male Action Hero beating up 20 thugs. It was all fake and everyone knew it. A good (male) fighter may fend off 2-3 unskilled opponents if he is lucky.
Glad he finally joined the land of the sentient, but 38 years to learn something that is observably obvious at all times? He never watched his mom fail to open a jar that was trivial for him to open? You can't blame autism for this one either, the tism makes you notice this shit even harder and gets you in trouble because you don't have the social skills to understand when speaking the truth is heresy. He's either a total fucking retard mongoloid or he's not willing to admit hes a shitlib and willfully disregarded reality because it conflicted with his shitlib ideology, and this article is him sweeping for himself i.e: "I was only pretending to be retarded".
I only observed this with elderly women. Perhaps eu jars are just easier to open. When they are not, you tap them against a hard surface to loosen the lid. Babuska spirit is the true woman superpower. Even my pattern recognition failed, granny asked me to help, granny was 85 and skin and bones, obviously she needed help.
My kids have had physical altercations over the TV remote and game controllers - it’s like he’s never even looked outside his little self-bubble. It explains a lot about the modern world.
Single child, and generally beating up girls was in eastern europe not something a well off suburb gentlemen thing to do. I assume it was the same for this autist.

But while I connected the dots, it isn't advertised and you need to get the relevant intel. Autist here was well an autist and he never got the info.

Mid gen x, to later gen x so ‘middle aged.’ Grew up with brothers and sisters and we fought like cats. Went to a mixed sec ‘bog standard comprehensive’ in a rough area. I didn’t fight much at school, but it’s just blindingly obvious boys are faster and stronger from well before puberty.

Babushkas are imbued with strength beyond belief…
It’s a sad fact that grip strength in some women gets messed up by having kids. I have no idea why, many women get tendon issues from picking up and carrying babies after hormonal changes to connective tissue during pregnancy. Much as I hate to say it, for me at least the jar meme is real.
But ok this guy never fought with girls, never interacted with girls. Has he never helped his mum out with household chores? My kids were helping me with lugging bags of compost from the garden centre to car from age 8-9. Has he never helped out? Never helped his mum with a task or DIY or gardening?

Thank you very much, I was just trying to figure out the sociological differences. The points lf divergence is that you were likely a kid in the 70s, before video games and autism and nerd lifestyle become way more prevalent. Siblings is another important factor. A family of only 3 sisters or only 2 brothers may fight but not with the other sex for example. That's before we factor in single child families, which the autistic subject of our study seems to be.

My mother hasn't had much trouble with jars. Since I became an invalid in early adulthood, jars usually give me the same trouble as they do her. They come in 2 types, easy that a 5 year old can open them, or stuck so hard you'll need Hulk Hogan or a tool. The ratio is 9 easy to 1 hard stuck.

Do it yourself has also died out due to ConsOoom culture for a decade or two, and you may not want an autist to be fixing things he isn't autistically focused on.

So we can infer that maybe Mommy of Autist may had no problem opening jars, the Daddy of Autist did it, or they just had some opener for them. He did say he grew up in a liberal gated community in the US, where I would doubt heavy bags of manure would be carried by anyone but a hired gardener.

Anything household that would need strength could be done by hired help.

My own adventure with helping with groceries started when I was in my late twenties and my mother got deeper into gardening as a hobby and the old soda machine broke. Before that, my household chores were not something that would require man strength, as little as I can still muster of it, and groceries were not heavy, around 1-2 kilograms. When I was a kid, the western machinery craze started, and suddenly there were machines to wash, clean, etc. So my worst childhood chore of dishwashing went the way of the dodo when I was ten.

After that, I had to haul heavier packs of plant fertiliser and carry bottled water for her. But I am in fact quite content with it. Now it isn't just flowers but also spice plants that she needs help with, and I quite prefer peppers to roses. Tastes better, no thorns.

Now there of course was chopping wood. Before divorce father just hired a gardener for that.
One of my first paychecks went to a chainsaw. Of course as an invalid, if a task is too hard, I just call an expert. Or some family friends get together and help each other. A group of bumbling men will be able to do what one can not, and a grill and beer afterwards on the house is fun.

Now this is in cheeki breeki suburbia. US suburbia is way richer. So we can use me to extrapolate, if I was filthy rich and autistic, no sisters, than there would be zero household chores to do if he is around my age, provided that they had grocieries delivered, as I know Americans prefer to shop in bulk, which isn't true for europoors. The store is 5 minute walk away.

So there would be people to call for every task except groceries for sure, and groceries a father can handle too, if they followed the US custom of bulk buy. So his only chance to observe Mommy of Autist's weakness has two failiure points, Daddy of Autist helping, or them simply grocery shopping in more euro fashion.

This is a bit of a generational divide thing. I haven't seen young people garden a lot, it is a more old people hobby, and rich people who can afford it can often afford hired help.

That's before we get to US inner city liberals, who I doubt could plant even a simple petunia, and their gardening skills would start and end with : Buy potted plant, put water on it every week.

Please do not take this as an insult to your age or hobbies. I am just correlating the differences between activities of generations and trying to apply it to this "study" of how this strange autistic person experienced things.

Yeah I suppose so. I must say that even if I was filthy rich (which I very much am not) the kids would still be doing chores so they don’t turn into either entitled monsters or useless adult children, it’s one thing having people in to do one off things like painting or fixing or plumbing but to not know the basics of day to day life-maintenance I think is madness. But there we go.

None taken, I get it. The world I grew up in no longer exists. It’s quite bizarre to me. The lack of DIY is a thing as well. I was complaining about people being unable to rewire a plug and someone pointed out quite correctly that most plugs are built in so you actually can’t do that easily these days anyway. The engineered obsolescence pisses me off.
And I suppose the lesson here is that they’ve engineered these utterly useless people BECAUSE it’s then very easy to give them their opinions and beliefs wholesale, you just put it on the telly and cancel anyone who objects. This is WHY there is cancel culture, it’s why everyone’s encouraged to be useless, it’s why kids are at college crying over trigger warnings. Wet, useless people, perfectly able bodied but unable to the simplest things or construct a world view from experience and reality testing.

To the first part, that is not generally the mindset with rich upper middle or low-upper class, these are too busy making money to take care of the kids. The richest just don't care, they'll hire ten shrinks and ten tutors to help little Hunter Biden out.

Engineered obsolescence is a big problem too, but appliances also became way more complex. I can try to fix something and maybe wreck it further is fine with a 50 pounds chair, but much less fun with a 1000 pounds appliance like a washing machine.

I personally wouldn't fuck around with gas or electricity because when you do a fucky there, it will cause a fire or worse. Larping as handyman is fun, but not worth blowing the house up for. I have been raised to turn the current fusebox off before I change a lightbulb. A badly done wire can get set alight, and these two are where I wouldn't recommend DIY as much as a paranoid poltard I am. With fixing water pipes at worst you turn off the water, and pay a larger bill to the plumber.

I know how you feel in part. I have started to interact with people to whom copy from documents and paste onto pendrive is bygone magic. Everyone thought smartphones would make kids better at tech, not dumber at it.
Credit to this guy for not only figuring out a long-held belief was wrong, but shouting it from the rooftops. We'd be in a better spot if people got respect for this instead of derision.
He came to the same conclusion about troons, autism and coding. Autists are great at coding, and autists are very literal. To quote Mr Autist's reasoning:

-Autists always take everything literally, and in black and white binary. Statement is either true or false, and Autistic OP has problems about even conceptualising lies.
-Feministic matriarcy. Man bad. Man creepy. Man bad for wanting cute girl. Women are good and can't be criticised, to an Autist this means they must have nothing to be criticised about, thus women are perfect. Lesbians good too. Like Chris Chan, the autist will revere women, and yearn to be one, because the MESSAGE says so and lies don't exist.
-The autist will also feel like he fails as a Chad man, and thus, because autism, that means he isn't a man.
-The trans cult tells them that they CAN become a women, and lesbians too! Twice the bonus! Remember, Autist learned man bad, woman good, he wants to be good, thus woman, and that lies don't exist to the autist.
-Autists never figures out that people would lie to him about him being a pretty princess.
-Thus autist becomes tranny. Remember that he was taught men are bad. Autist doesn't want to be bad, and wants to sex cute girl.
-With programmer stockings, autist becomes woman good, and now him wanting to have sex with cute girl is good lgbt, not creepy dude.

He lays the blame at the lgbt "ally"s for misleading autists, and concludes that AGPs should just realise one simple life hack:
-Non-autistic evildoers lie to autists and tell him he can become a girl and he'll pass. This is not true! They'll just lie he is a pretty princess!
-Men peak later in life than women. Women also aren't attracted to big tiddy girls, unlike autists. Autists don't understand that heterosexual women don't want a 10/10 goth bangmaid with huge knockers. They need to take his word for this strange and bizarre, unexplainable phenomenon.
-So while Autists sadly can't become sexy girls, they can still get to sex the sexy girls by being this strange thing girls want, so Autists need to earn money, have a job, etc and be a silver fox daddy.

Which to his credit, is a way better way to get laid than becoming a tranny and hoping for a lesbian girl. The gamer sockings crowd did not take kindly to his deduction, and neither did the "ally"-s, who insisted that always saying Yes you pass princess is the moral right thing to do, and not doing this would make them Hitler, and this would be worse than lying to the Autists.

This actually lines up with Chris Chan and his Naive and True and Honest self. The Autist can't comprehend people would lie, so he is Naive and spews True and Honest content. The Autist also can't understand that not everyone has his sexual orientation and fetishes down to the last Feet Movie. He thinks every single person in the world has the same type of perfect girl who they want to shag, men and women, old and young, atheist and muslim. This also neatly explains how Chris couldn't understand how Sonichu wouldn't be a world hit. He loves it, therefore everyone must feel the same way.

I don't know how Autists behave when confronted with stuff like someone eating pickles. If everyone is like Chris, why would pickles be even made? Nobody would eat it obviously. This must be a great theological mystery to the Tism.

The autist is making explicit what is implicitly true for the majority of people.
It really isn't that explicit in an also a very autistic way.

Ask people why men and women can't compete against each other and yes, most people will tell you men are stronger than women. Some will admit it with a certain awkwardness because their views tell them we're the "same". Even when you ask them why is male-to-female domestic violence more condemnable them f-t-m, they will be reluctant to admit "women are weaker". Maybe they can say "men are stronger", but never "women are weaker".

And once you go a bit further and say that this applies for everything, say, I'm justified in hiring only men because they're stronger and faster, people will claim is "not the same" as if men magically stop being stronger and faster outside of the football field.

The worst part of this article is that he doesn't event hint at extrapolating this self-reflection and examining other Modern Dogmas like the article's title would suggest.
It's easy to admit the two genders don't have the same capabilities, but are you brave enough to say the same about race?

cognitive dissonance
That word is going to blow up in a few years. I just fucking know it. Too much modern bullshit can be explained by just pointing this out. Society is driving itself insane trying to hold two conflicting ideas at once.

Most people are. They just don't say it outright. See above.

Sparks aren’t some genius level beings. They just follow easy to understand rules. Use quality components and fuse everything and you won’t burn your house down.

I know, but I just feel safer with the qualified electrician. I'm extremely risk averse and find that the electrician isn't that expensive. The difference is that with lets say water plumbing if I fuck up I'm still alive to correct it. The risk is low, but the cost of mistake is high, and the lightning-current-fixer-man is not expensive.

Its like the first aid kit in a car. I haven't had to use it in 25 years, but I'm not going to cheap out on it.

He almost didn't. He had autistically assumed that literally All Races Are The Same, and thus a white should be exactly just as good at Feng Shui as a native Asian, and was kicked for it.
A commenter told him about the IQ race gap and how he was thinking it was caused by environmental, genetic and cultural factors, and a second commander said that's racist and our Autist sided with the first commenter, autistically analyzing that calling the first commenter a racist troglodyte isn't a valid refutation of scientific IQ studies.

Guy maybe autistic, but he is at least asking for valid arguments and discounting "that's rayciss" as a valid scientific point, which makes him smarter than 95% of the internet.

They definitely say it aloud. You have people openly saying blacks are faster, cook better, and are more enlightened about the world than whites. That's not taboo: taboo is saying the opposite.

pretty much, there's a reason they literally call it getting "red pilled" because everyone around you and the media and your teachers and everyone else would say "yes this is how X works" even if they know its not true.

On a much sillyer and smaller scale, this is why American Idol especially in the 2000s seasons always had these terrible auditions with tone deaf uggos who'd say "i was told all my life by my friends and family i'm a great singer" only to get humilated on live tv.

No one wants to admit the truth, especially in america so you end up with people living in constant fake realities. "but don't you have ears" one who's a fucking retard might think. but no, you literally can't hear how you sound. so you have to rely on others, same way people would only know based on how others told them they looked before mirrors were common.

watching men run down a field in 2 seconds and watching women run down the same field in 4 seconds
like he says in the article, he didn't grow up watching cross country.
The idea that people may misrepresent things due to ulterior motives, or genuinely because it makes for a more enjoyable piece of media or video game did not occur for him. It's great he's realising this now, but so many people on the internet are autistic and they're not all having this eureka moment. It's why over the last few years the idea that biological sex isn't real keeps getting repeated ad nauseum.
Its not just autistic people and it is sort of MATI when people just go "lol only autists!" as if the same HR cunts that keep hiring indians or blacks genuinely realize they're worse at the job than a white or a man. spoiler alert teachers, HR employees, and feminists can have kids too (its not as common in millennials but still happens)

Like do people really think Boeing or Bud Light c-suite types sat around going "it makes perfect sense to destroy our company's reputation if it makes degenerates feel warm and fuzzy inside" fuck no, there is no moral or financial reason to chose the options they did.

The problem is not so much autists but an explosion in scorpions.

why would the woman in charge of marketing at bud light hire someone they know will lead to them getting fired? why would a scorpion kill the frog if it means they both drown?

Thats really the problem, as we found out from covid and just journlists the last decade there are tons of people out there that will lie even if it doesn't make sense.

people willing to throw out 40+ legacies of being honest and truthful and throwing it all away for no reason because they just want to ruin someone else's day.

Everyone talks about "nigger moments" but "teutonic moments" are the ones causing the plane crashes and turning Bud light into a punchline. Its why you'll find the social media feed of some woman who was beaten, raped, and finally murdered by illegals and its exclusively them talking about open borders and their own parents going "i love tacos more than trump". there are way too many people out there in very high positions in society willing to throw away all of it for no reason, even willing to sacrifice their own family members for nothing or at best some asspats on social media.

But somehow the same people that fall for anything the faggots on TV say will turn to an autist and go "don't you have eyes lol" NIGGER YOU'RE TRIPLE VAXXED.

If everyone is feeding you woke nonsense, and you aren't personally acquainted with sporting events yourself, it's very easy to take that at face value.
exactly, you can try it out for yourself, find someone that doesn't know your particular sport and just start going off, you can say the detroit lions won last years super bowl, you can say that the kicker will also be on the O-line when he's not kicking or that there are only 25 players on an NFL team and if injured they just grab players from the minor league. And if they only have you to rely on they're going to believe every single word of it
I guess this guy is somewhat of a moron for not at least knowing that size disparities between the sexes will lead to strength disparities between the sexes. But he could at least reasonably believe that men and women of comparable weights would have comparable strengths. That's not immediately intuitively false if you aren't familiar with all the stupid troon arguments people get up to.
you're also forgetting that media basically propagates out the message that its not true and the skill level of athletes is so high that it is extremely common for a guy half a foot shorter or 20 lbs fatter to be the better athlete. Mike Tyson was hilariously short for the heavyweight division but like Steph Curry he dominated despite the numbers not being in his favor.
Progressives just don't care about logical implications of their messages
very few people in general care about "canon" and are perfectly fine not bothering with if something doesn't make logical sense. its to the point where you're made fun of for thinking people's actions have to make logical sense. numerous quotes about how "the truth is stranger than fiction"
To be fair to him non-fictional sources are the same. How often is it stated as fact that all women can do anything men can, including jobs men are usually considered better at due to the physical demands of the roles?
even worse, there were numerous scientific articles and journals saying exactly this back in the 90s. Meaning even if you did ask the academics you wouldn't get the right answer but of course its your own fault if you trust the people we give billions to in order to become experts in these fields.
Ok. So my next question is. Why do we let people that mentally stunted participate freely in society?
IF YOU DON'T AGREE WITH EVERYTHING ANDREW TATE AND NICK FUENTES SAYS AND IF ITS NOT INHERENTLY OBVIOUS TO YOU, THEN YOU SHOULDN'T BE PART OF SOCIETY -GRUB
