On all Android phones in Russia, Google Play doesn't work, and peopls have to rely on a new one with hardly anything on it called Nashstore (it has about 500 app devs). And it wasn't only that Google pulling out did damage to, but it was also their access to YouTube (they rely on RuTube now). And their isolation from Visa, Mastercard, etc has lead to alternatives in the financial system, thus birthing the Mir payment system. They have their own phones too.

This is the Ayya T1 smartphone running Aurora OS.

This comes as iOS halts all business with Russia and Google Chrome becomes non-functional. I think Russia may have to rely on China for cheap alternatives and workarounds because as of now they ain't got shit on American companies.
So if anything, deplatforming generally works, but only in the short-term. Long-term? They'll be able to maneuver better next time. And if you're referring to the alt-right, only radicalize them further. I dunno.
But as for KF? Didn't turn out the way the troons wanted.
